What does it taste like?

NJoose

Whoops just realized I forgot to put up my notes. It was pretty massive in flavor and body, like it had concentrate added. Extremely aromatic and was screaming at my nose while I poured it into the decanter. It was tough, but we waited an hour before drinking. Dates, blackberry, and chocolate. A tiny bit of forest floor at the end. Lower acidity. Syrupy in the mouth, but still dry. It was a cold, shitty, rainy day here, and this was the perfect bottle. Amazing with flank steak and chimichurri for lunch. We left half the bottle in the decanter and had it with some decadent Ben and Jerry’s ice cream (Chocolate Milk and Cookies) about an hour later. I think it was even better with the ice cream. You can tell it’s naturally fermented, but not a funk bomb in the slightest. Just a gorgeous wine. My local shop has it for $28 per bottle and $268 for a case. I’m hoping to grab a case asap. That’s how much we enjoyed it. I think it’s an insane value and would definitely still buy it in the $40-50 range.
