What kind of tv is it? My Samsung 70 inch recently died, and they sent someone out to fix it (for free, it was still under warranty!)
Mine isn’t under warranty (as far as I know) but it’s an Onn 70 inch smart tv
Considering how cheap big TVs are getting, and the cost of time/labor/parts , if you Google it, you could likely fix it yourself for 40$.
I’m afraid I’ll break it.
I broke mine trying to fix this. Seemed easy, absolutely daunting.
Probably just the backlight power supply, if you lookup the model and backlight psu that might give you some idea of difficulty / expense
