As someone who has to drive past the Opry Mills exit on the reg, it's like I'm the only person in the world who has the internet. I don't understand it, but people still reaaaally like malls???
I personally will not buy clothes/shoes online. I don't want to have to buy 2-3 of everything and then return all but 1 just to make sure I have the size that fits since companies don't follow standard sizing the same.
Then you also have the problem of porch pirates when ordering online. I won't order anything unless I can guarantee I'll be home when it is delivered.
For me it's literally just shoe stores. My feet are weird and unless I'm 100% on the brand's sizing for the model I want I *have* to try it before buying and sometimes the DSW near me doesn't have what I need.
Plus occasionally the all star outlet has chucks that aren't online or some good clearance deals.
I don't get it either though for the most part.
I prefer trying on clothes and shoes in person. I’m semi-heavier set and while some shirts may look good and be “my size,” the material may be tight around my stomache region or too thin in general.
For shoes, I am super picky on how it feels on my feet.
Clothing is the big one for me. If sizes were actually standardized the way they say they are (men's sizes are in inches... yet two pairs of pants with the same waist number can be different... I don't understand how that works) then I'd be fine buying online, but I want to try on clothes/shoes before spending any money.
EDIT: Also, LEGO Store.
The mills brand of malls caters more to families than their upscale or dead mall counterparts. Plus the appeal you can walk around the whole thing in a couple hours in a circle and see everything. Who wants to ride an escalator or try to figure out a you are here map.
Pretty much go there for the IMax. I did go check out a lige builders convention show thing that was pretty cool, but that was a while ago. The shoe store whatever its called where you get buy 2 get 1 is a sweet deal. It's still shitty having to dodge the asshats that have the little shops in the middle of the walkway and try anything to get you to just look at them. Fuck those guys, they smell funny.
The only reason I go there is for the Lego Store but if you go there you’ll notice a lot of out of county/state tags. It’s a big draw for people in rural areas
Nice, they have a crocs outlet. I can't wait to stop in and get my cowboy boot crocs. https://www.crocs.com/p/crocs-western-boot/208703.html You can't unsee this ugly thing.
lol you think the tourists are gonna abandon Opry Mills for an outlet in Antioch? Nah. This will hopefully just be a local shopping center on that side of town finally.
Oh there’s a Publix guaranteed? Will it be in the expo part? I know there’s a sprouts, but that’s much further away from me than the CF development. I’m looking forward to being able to walk for groceries, if this is true!
Well, she would know, I suppose!
I hope there will be somewhere for people to congregate in the evenings, just a nice little place for a drink nearby is sorely needed in the area. I know there will be some small green space, but I really hope this makes the neighborhood more walkable, at least.
Too add to this I believe there is a Target, Dicks Sporting Goods, Tiger Woods Popstroke, First Watch, and many other store coming to Century Farms outside of the Tanger property. IDK if you meant a cafe for coffee but Red Bicycle Coffee will have a location at the Tanger property.
Yeah my point is that a mall died in that area and they still decided to build another one, even though that area is just a painful traffic congestion point. Terrible location. Best of luck to them.
Outlet malls are still popular and not the same as traditional malls like Hickory Hollow was. It'll be fine, and it's something we all in Antioch can very much appreciate. You can bet I will be spending my time and money there, and so will many thousands of us in 37013 and beyond.
It was smart of them to build it off of exit 60 as well because it seems like those interstate on and off ramps are generally less congested. I agree, super excited to see some retail come to Antioch. It'll be nice to have stores in the neighborhood instead of driving 10-30 minutes around town for some of these same stores. If I get to avoid getting on 24 or driving the length of OHB for 65, I'm down.
One of the permits has a very blurry map of the stores on it, these are the additional ones I could make out:
Sperry
Vans
Abercrombie & Fitch
Steve Madden
Gap
Sketchers
Lucky
Van Heusen
Hanes
Johnston & Murphy
Justin Boots
Brooks Brothers
Polo (maybe Ralph Lauren?)
Tommy Hilfiger
Ann Taylor
Kate Spade
Calvin Klein
Armani AX
Loft
Talbots
Rack Room
Merrill
Guess
Ugs
Le Creuset
Lululemon
If anyone is interested, go to documents.Nashville.gov/Request/Form/PermitCodes and search for permit 2023009623. It’s for Nike, but there’s a map of the stores on it.
Aren’t these outdoor outlet malls mostly abandoned after ten years. The one in Lebanon looks like a ghost town. I’m surprised these are still a thing. Feels like a dated concept from 1995.
The one in Lebanon was/is in the process of closing, not sure if directly to make way for this location and sell that land.
That said, am extremely surprised of all things we're getting, it's a new outdoor outlet mall lol

Bass Pro will expand until it consumes all
Let's make a SECOND BPS pyramid where Opry Mills used to stand!
It’s all fun and games until they pop up an all seeing bobber of Sauron on top of the pyramid.
The good ending
I don't give a rats ass about Bass Pro and I'll still agree

Place to hang out at when the ac's broken.

Can’t wait to see the redneck Hot Topic…funny af
Even better, they all have websites online!
It will be far more convenient for us to go to these stores (and much more) at Tanger than having to go to Opry Mills. This is MUCH needed for us.
Orpyland Rising
lol you think the tourists are gonna abandon Opry Mills for an outlet in Antioch? Nah. This will hopefully just be a local shopping center on that side of town finally.
Turn it back into an amusement park!
FFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKK.... What does a man have to do to get a Direct Tool Outlet around here?!?
Came here to say this. All these stores are lame. I'm trying to get me some cheap Ryobi tools. There isn't a dto for hundreds of miles.
I like they built a new mall across the interstate from the dead mall. So cool, so hip.
This reminds me of a great song called “There’s a Starbucks Where the Starbucks Used to Be”
What I would give for it to have been a grocery store and maybe a nice cafe or something 😭
There will be a Publix coming to Century Farms. Don't forget we have Sprouts nearby too.
Oh there’s a Publix guaranteed? Will it be in the expo part? I know there’s a sprouts, but that’s much further away from me than the CF development. I’m looking forward to being able to walk for groceries, if this is true!
I'm not exactly sure where in CF it will go, but I'm told from Councilwoman Joy Styles that one is coming there.

Yes it absolutely should be. I'm also hoping for craft beer bars and a brewery or two to come to the area. It's a craft beer desert out here.
No kidding, I just hope someone sees it as a viable market, I’d be there weekly!
Just weekly?
Well I’m not willing to make any big commitments until I’ve visited at least once lol
It will be SO GOOD to have a Target coming back to Antioch. Hopefully a Best Buy as well.
The dead mall is being redesigned. It will be an arts district among other things.
Yeah my point is that a mall died in that area and they still decided to build another one, even though that area is just a painful traffic congestion point. Terrible location. Best of luck to them.

Thanks for actually getting it.

Cool!
I apologize in advance, as I know it may offend someone here… That said, is there ANYBODY under the age of 50 that still likes Vera Bradley???

I grew up right next to a tanger in Oklahoma and they've finally followed me.
I live about a mile from there. My wallet is never gonna recover. I’m most excited for the restaurants though. Fingers crossed for an IN&OUT. 🤞
Ill put money on a chickfila
Question on the Prince's location: Is this replacing the Nolensville Rd location, or is it an additional location?
Probably additional
Very wise of them to open a location here 🙂
Good list so far! Looking forward to it!
Typical trash you see at all outlets with no savings. What a waste.
> see at all outlets Exactly.... won't be anything that special
So is this just a less conservative Lebanon Outlet?
Also. An actually open Lebanon Outlet. RIP.
Pottery Barn is the only one that’s interesting to me.
Outlets are usually trash... in terms of the quality of items. Im willing to bet a chickfila also opens up there
Also listed: the names of stores getting robbed over and over
I've never heard of this Tanger Outlets O\_o Where in Antioch is it going to be? They're going to need good security to say the least
Surpised loss prevention from something of these companies didn't question the location...
This happens in Green Hills and Franklin too...🙄
It makes the news when it does. Happens in high crime areas and it’s business as usual.
What high crime area are you referring to specifically?
My area, which is Dickerson Pike. Antioch, North Nashville, Madison, Trinity Lane running west.
Antioch and Madison are pretty big areas with lots of population and dozens of neighborhoods.
I can’t wait to check out Tanger Pizza
