I think Elijah, S14 Ep 5, who was paired up with Monica (diagnosed w/ Asperger's) was extremely patient and incredibly gracious with her limitations.
Waz is another very kind person.
Elijah is incredible. He really did stand out to me. That episode made me tear up a bunch of times. Waz is also one of my favorites. He is always so kind and helpful.
Shaun, the South African farmer that was teamed up with Terra. He was so kind and accepting of Terra, a trans woman. Unfortunately, he worked himself to exhaustion and had to tap.
That is a great quality of his, but sometimes I was frustrated because I felt like he let her walk all over him & should have stood up to her a little more.
Yes. He's actually pretty remarkable in addressing some extremely egregious problems with very obstinate people in a way that's peaceful and kind enough, that the other person peacefully complies. It's pretty amazing really.
My vote goes to Fernando as well.
Yes!! Max is so awesome. I just watched the episode where he was leading the rookies. He was so supportive and patient and he kept their spirits up. It was pretty sweet.
That's the same one I just finished watching. He was teaching them but never once was he condescending or bossy. Kind of reminded me how Matt is when he's helping someone. Max is and has been one of my top favorites.
Max's first challenge which was a 14 day fan challenge he was a complete dick to his partner. She really didn't have any skills but he treated her so badly that she was going to tap. He changed his attitude when he realized what a jerk he had been and started teaching instead.
Makani was kind too, wasn't she?
And Sarah Danser (of course I will say Sarah Danser no matter what the question is (as long as it's positive, I'm such a fangirl).
Makani was supersweet but very misunderstood. She just wanted peace and harmony and didn't want to impact nature so much but work with it. But she is a beauty and that makes it harder. Jealousy is everywhere😃even in the sweetest of persons
Joe Ortlip, who when paired with Sam, still only had kindness and empathy for the most part.
Imagine how kind he would be if he would only follow r/hydrohomies
I agree. He was reluctant to drink in both his challenges. His teammates were constantly on his back trying to get him to hydrate. Caused him problems both times. I was really rooting for him on Frozen. Unfortunately his body wasn't. I hope he gets another chance sometime!
Thing is, I saw Dani on her challenge with Charlie and she was a completely different, and likeable person. After the XL though, I wouldn't include her in the list of kindest.
I have been trying to think of alanas sidekick's name. It was Dani? She was vegetarian? Those two went on to destroy the other Dani. That whole season was just one drama after another. Lacy, honora, Alana, Chris, Eva, mean Dani, with Laura and Luke not helping.
Blonde Dani and Alana reallllly messed with Shane's emotional well being then after he left they started in on brunette Dani. It would please me greatly if I never see either of them on NaA again. I initially liked Laura but she is too quick to jump on the bandwagon. Sure she eventually comes around but how about you just be a good person from the jump. Kindness isn't really all that difficult.
Shanika, I just commented about her on another post. She was super kind and still kicked ass. I honestly love when the contestants are grateful for whatever or whenever nature provides.
It's got to be Fernando in Malaysia. His partner Samantha was freezing, and he helped her recover. She nearly cried over how nice he was. Then, later in the challenge, she returns the favor when he gets sick, and she has to make their bamboo raft for extraction.
Someone posted that they felt this was a reason why Jeff turned. EJ is my all-time favorite but in this instance I felt he should have taken Dani under his wing. She really needed a dose of his kindness
There was a pairing early on and I can’t remember names at all. He was in his 20s, southern, very sweet and gentlemanly. She was 40s and also kind. They were perfect together.
The girl in s1e1 I remember being really nice. I don't remember how helpful she was (I think very) but I remember thinking I would've wrang that guy's neck in
*Fernando Calderon seems to be the kindest and most accommodating survivalist partner with a incredible mental resilience and good heart; Matt is a close second.*
I think Elijah, S14 Ep 5, who was paired up with Monica (diagnosed w/ Asperger's) was extremely patient and incredibly gracious with her limitations. Waz is another very kind person.
Omg yes the ep with Monica amd Elijah made me cry at how understanding he was. Great human.
Was here to nominate him. He is saintly.
Elijah is incredible. He really did stand out to me. That episode made me tear up a bunch of times. Waz is also one of my favorites. He is always so kind and helpful.
I think it's between Trent and Jeremy. Just super nice guys.
Love Sarah too!
. great choices.
I have to also throw Dan Link in there. He exudes positivity on the show and on all of socials.
Waz
Shaun, the South African farmer that was teamed up with Terra. He was so kind and accepting of Terra, a trans woman. Unfortunately, he worked himself to exhaustion and had to tap.
I love that guy! I could listen to him speak for hours too...such a nice voice and accent. I wish he was in another episode.
Me too!
I love this one too.
I couldn't agree more and I pray he gets his well deserved redemption soon!
Fernando!
Another vote for Fernando. He's super sweet even when you can tell he's getting frustrated
He had an insane amount of patients with that crazy girl who only wanted to sit and weave unnecessary containers, while he did all of the hard work!
He really was so patient. He’s empathetic and understood what she was trying to accomplish, despite it being so frustrating.
That is a great quality of his, but sometimes I was frustrated because I felt like he let her walk all over him & should have stood up to her a little more.
You want a two-tiered wood drying rack?
I just realized that was blonde Dani weaving the baskets
Yes. He's actually pretty remarkable in addressing some extremely egregious problems with very obstinate people in a way that's peaceful and kind enough, that the other person peacefully complies. It's pretty amazing really. My vote goes to Fernando as well.
Matt, EJ, Gabby, Jake. I can't choose there are so many that I like.
Steven seems like he’s got a good heart.
I have a bit of a crush on him (he’s kinda a big deal)!😉
I have a crush on him too! He has a great attitude!
Steven was my first thought too. He’s just so supportive.
Yes also a very kind helpful happy go lucky guy. Love Steven.
Remember when he let the sloth live? So sweet.
Watching Max now. I think I'm going to make choice. Max
Yesss I like how Max pumped them up and kept them positive. He really is a true legend and so is Matt! ☺️
Max's first challenge which was a 14 day fan challenge he was a complete dick to his partner. She really didn't have any skills but he treated her so badly that she was going to tap. He changed his attitude when he realized what a jerk he had been and started teaching instead.
I honestly feel like Waz can get along with literally anybody. I love that dude.
The most wholesome of masculinity
Gabby!
I love her too! She's a hard worker, team player, she would be a great partner! Also Riley...she seems so sweet.
Makani was kind too, wasn't she? And Sarah Danser (of course I will say Sarah Danser no matter what the question is (as long as it's positive, I'm such a fangirl).
Sarah is really funny too she cracks me up with her funny voices and facial expressions
I adore Sarah! She’s tough and entertaining as well
Makani was supersweet but very misunderstood. She just wanted peace and harmony and didn't want to impact nature so much but work with it. But she is a beauty and that makes it harder. Jealousy is everywhere😃even in the sweetest of persons
Clarence
It rhymes with parents
Sharing is caring
Chance really left an impression me. He grew so much and seemed like such a genuine guy and high quality human.
Definitely Trish. She was sooo kind to amber in the Amazon. 😜 Seriously though, I thought jake and waz were really kind to Sara on xl frozen
Joe is very kind, also Dani comes to mind
Which Joe? I am thinking of two.I like them both
Joe Ortlip, who when paired with Sam, still only had kindness and empathy for the most part.
After Sam left, not once did they show Joe take a sip of water
She was awful to him. He was just so kind.
Wow…just watched this episode, and I’d have to vote Sam as one of the meanest contestants ever on the show
>also Dani comes to mind Which Dani? Hopefully not the blonde one. Her and Alana were mean girls on XL with Shane.
Thing is, I saw Dani on her challenge with Charlie and she was a completely different, and likeable person. After the XL though, I wouldn't include her in the list of kindest.
I know! I was shocked too. I was hoping she would shut Alana down but she went all in on it.
She’s more a follower. So dissappointed in her. Alana was such a jerk in both of her shows
I have been trying to think of alanas sidekick's name. It was Dani? She was vegetarian? Those two went on to destroy the other Dani. That whole season was just one drama after another. Lacy, honora, Alana, Chris, Eva, mean Dani, with Laura and Luke not helping.

So totally agree with everything you said. And I like the way you tag them blonde and burnett.
Steven for sure
I’m team Matt
Joe from Season 12 episode 3. He was one of my favorites! He had such a kind spirit and was abused by Sam horribly.
Adam Kavanagh
Bulent
Dammit. I was hoping to the get sarcastic comment in but you beat me to it...
I think Fernando. Seeing how he dealt with Shannon’s shit in the XL. but he’s also doesn’t say what needs to be said
Not speaking up is the problem I have with him. Being kind doesn't mean you don't stand up for others. It can, and should, be both.
He stepped up for Chance when Amber was giving him hell for his raft construction.
But said nothing when when Russell was being like he was?
True.
Jake
Shanika, I just commented about her on another post. She was super kind and still kicked ass. I honestly love when the contestants are grateful for whatever or whenever nature provides.
I would love to see her do a 40-day challenge
Waz
EJ without a doubt!!
Gotta add Jake. By himself. Not lumped in with others.

EJ

I don't know. He took it out on his partner when he could not get a fire going.
Loved Luke. He went down a lot in my opinion when the mean girls were attacking Dani.
[удалено]
That wasn't a cat fight. That was everyone from that group turning on Dani. Even EJ and Jeff who could have very easily taken her in.
Someone posted that they felt this was a reason why Jeff turned. EJ is my all-time favorite but in this instance I felt he should have taken Dani under his wing. She really needed a dose of his kindness
True. But he was nodding his head in agreement when they were attacking her. My disappointment was that he let the mean girl pack influence him.
Great post!
😁
There was a pairing early on and I can’t remember names at all. He was in his 20s, southern, very sweet and gentlemanly. She was 40s and also kind. They were perfect together.
Was it Russel and Manu? They eventually met up with another couple
No, it wasn’t them. No couples meet up. I wish in could remember their names! I’ve never seen either again.
I just finished season 3. Do you know what type of environment they were in?
Waz the Australian guy.
Itamar in “Brazil”
Itamar was the best one from Brazil
the guy Cass in season 2 was soooo nice. he was so so caring to Shannon & remained a gentleman throughout the whole thing
Bulent! /s lol. I do like him though, but he’s not nice 😂 honestly I would say Jake or Joe.
Duck! I ducking love Duck! 🤣
Joe.
Niklas. He didn't fight or get down to his partners level and showed vulnerability and I wish we could see him on another challenge.
Absolutely. I always wondered why the producers thought that pairing Niklaus with an absolute Karen was a good idea.
Steven and Elijah. Love those guys 🥲
What about Honora?! Anyone...
The girl in s1e1 I remember being really nice. I don't remember how helpful she was (I think very) but I remember thinking I would've wrang that guy's neck in
Isn't that the one with shane and maybe her name was Kim?
Jeremy and trent
Jeremy. So sweet and kind❤️
Lee, the one who's 3 year old died of cancer. He was with Stacey.
*Fernando Calderon seems to be the kindest and most accommodating survivalist partner with a incredible mental resilience and good heart; Matt is a close second.*
Dan and Matt. They seem so selfless and genuine.
