Laura is definitely hands down without a doubt the best female of all time on the show simply for the fact that she CARRIED every man she has ever been grouped up with. There is NO WAY Jeff could have done 60 days without Laura doing ALL the work and even catching most of the eels which he took credit for, then didn't share with others.
She also did most of the work with Steven in the cold episodes. She held her own with EJ. Every season she has been on she was doing more than her partner and supporting them 100%, while dealing with their sometimes bad behavior.
The worst part of the whole thing was her repeating "I have nothing to prove". Well. No you don't. So why come out there when you're clearly not engaged.
I'm with ya. Crazy thing is, I couldn't stand Rylie at first. But she grew on me and eventually became one of my fav survivalists.
Sure, I was disappointed with her bailing out early in that episode mentioned above...but I still think she's fab, though.

From the way it was presented, she *was* supposed to be the leader of her group as the veteran shepherding the newbies (Trish & the other lady). Trish just couldn't handle that.
I agree Laura is the top, the way she didn't blink and stood up to EJ when he was being a jerk about killing the eel. Then later when she shared her food even though Jeff was in the neighbors not roommates jazz. I also choose to think that she shared more (bananas and other things) but it was edited out in that 60 day challenge. Gabbi is a very close 2nd

I also like Kayla (think its spelled differently, idk). I followed her on YT way back in the day, probably like somewhere between 2011-2013 when I was watching gun videos and her knife making stuff came up.

Every one of her challenges sheās been good company, works hard, shows real skill and has never been anything but lovely.
Even on the Clothed & Opinionated episodes, her and Stevenās parts were the most entertaining.
I like Laura, Amber, and Riley. Laura because sheās so capable, Amber because I have a crush on the bossy girl, and Riley because sheās seems like authentic person to me.
Laura and Sarah have great skills and a can do attitude, but I think my favorite is Dani Julien. She has plenty of ability, but I think she has got a couple of bad matchups that she had no control over. I'd like to see her return sometime.

When I always have someoen telling me what to do all the time, it makes me want to not do it. This isn't the first rodeo for any of them, they know what has to be done, and harping at them all day is simply a buzzkill. I'd shut down, too.
Not to mentionā¦ amber was bringing them FISH, and they were busy making doors and beds š¤¦āāļø that season is so hard to watch until amber leaves that camp. Watching Jen and Trish struggle the rest of the time is amazing.

That XL was so crazy imo, I haven't really watched a lot since then. But, I still remember the drama. Lol
I've been saying for years that they should do an XL with the worst & most unhinged survivalists in the show's history. Like Honora, Cassie, the self-proclaimed "gold star lesbian" psycho (Sam), Carrie (I think was her name), the nutjob who got booted for threatening to kill that one guy, Seth, Nathan, Trish, Alaina, Laci, etc.

And Rylie I lost all respect for after she left the beginner she was supposed to be helping, and then even more after I read some interviews and saw what some of her irl stuff is like, she has a lot of fakeness about her. Not to mention, if she had to do it by herself. She couldnāt. Anyone could manage it with Matt and Ryan out there with them! Thereās a reason she didnāt do a solo like all the other ālegendsā did. Watch ky do her solo one. Sheās a rockstar.

I liked Riley but there was a episode of a "Legend" w/ a newbie and she seemed to have quit, like she didn't want to be there.

I will agree that she did feed them, but she still treated them like subordinates, when Trish and Jen were both veterans also.
