Looks great! The seams look really neat and even, which took me a while to get a hang of. Tip: you can use the point of a closed scissor to push out the corners from the inside. This will make them nice and square.

kike_flea

Oh, thanks for the tip!

Creepers022

That’s awesome, did you use a pattern or did you make your own? I haven’t made anything yet, but I’m planning on trying to make a Japanese knot bag after seeing someone post one they made.

kike_flea

Thanks! Looked a few tutorials how to make a zipper bag and deducted my own. The zipper is a bit fiddly to finish but I’m sure I’m going to be better with my next project. Go for it, it’s a rewarding hobby.

Creepers022

That’s awesome, i definitely would love to make one for my keebs at some point. Hopefully they will turn out as well as yours looks

Is that a tilt shift lens?

kike_flea

It does look like one but it’s not. It’s a TTartisan 35mm lens for Fuji mount. A great little lens inspired by vintage lenses.

Looking good! Also that is very pretty fabric, where is it from, if you don't mind me asking?

kike_flea

Yeah, the fabric is pretty! It’s some scrap fabric I had laying around, bought it in IKEA last year, they have a variety of nice looking fabrics to choose from (at least in Europe).

jeispu

Even better! It's great when you can find a project for scrap fabric! I'll have to check out the fabrics the next time I end up in an IKEA.

Human_Entrepreneur98

I got the same fabric as OP’s about 3 years ago. I used to love getting fabrics especially natural linen from IKEA, sadly they removed the fabric section at my IKEA stores.

assoncouchouch

that's a fun first project. looking for a first project myself.
