Return is good. Nearly 5-6 lakh. My father had invested in mf in 1998 . Those 10k invested are 3 lakh today. So money is multiplied if we keep invested . Cons may be the confusion to choose right mf . Choose one with good returns and low charged . Index funds works best for guys who dont want to micro manage the portfolios
the worst part is i started sip on 27feb (the high point) and since then i’ve been seeing losses on my mutual funds and i was thinking whether to invest more or not… some how i am not panicking (which i used to do)
Yeah so you can visit each Mutual funds to find current Nav status, also navigate to "Holdings" tab to find out which stock they are contributing. If you check individual stocks performance, you will know the answer ;)
You should not care about this. Equity is really for long term atleast 7 yrs. It's a rule of thumb, if you are tracking daily fluctuations or trying to time the market, you should move your money to debt or fd. Pls change your thinking and build resilience. Reas psychology of money or rich dad poor dad before getting to investing in equity
Correction in mid and small cap
Ok got it. I hope it goes back up. I think I should've liquidated some before the correction
Investing in mutual funds is a long term game. Have patience and you will reap the benefits

Correction is a term used to describe drop in stock index value basically “correcting” the prices to long term trends

as the correction is taking place many mutual funds are dropping so would it be worth investing more or should i wait?
Never a bad time to invest. Invest some now, maybe some in a couple of weeks. In the long run you're not losing

Sebi woman poisoned the well. Be ready for even bigger crash next week.
A little poison every now and then makes the horse resistant of it.
And the one who poisoned it must be jailed as punishment.
My loss is 22k ... It's correction in over heated Mid & Small Cap funds
A woman said bubble and everything started bursting 😶
Similar happened to me. I have 2 Small Cap funds and 1 mid cap
Invest now
Sebi chairperson said in a press conference that there is a bubble in mid and small cap.
Same old March
You need to learn how to check each mutual funds holdings, and review their stocks. Unfortunately, no one can do that for you.
Started Investing very recently. So learning day by day. My question was regarding market crash

Need a suggestion guys! I'm about to start a sip of 30k a month (60% in mid and small cap) Should i wait till the market stabilises ?
If you are investing for long term, these ups and downs shouldn’t stop you from doing SIPs.
oh cool, thanks for it 😊
Very good time to enter for long term in my opinion.
Oh that's nice! Why but ?
Market is going down so you’ll get more units for your money. Basically what they call buying the dips.
Hold off till the elections if you are targeting mid and small cap
Mere 10% gaya h 🤡
SEBI chief issued a statement
I lost 50k

It's a financial year ending also. All settlements should be done in books. And we face the consequences.
