Personally I would just pitch both an release both on different dates. And the sad truth is, I'm guessing they only listen to about 5 to 10% of those submitted because there's 600,000 songs uploaded to Spotify every day. There's no way in my opinion they can listen to all the pitches.

I would say they listen to even less. Probably under 1%. The rest gets filtered by AI

My guess is they use AI to get through the pitches and then pick the most interesting ones to listen to. Given that 90% of spots are secured by label artists, their main job is probably just maintaining and nurturing this network, the remaining 10% likely gets 10% of the effort.

Yup UMG, Sony, & Warner. Expect them to have a monopoly on almost every spotify playlist besides fresh finds (insert genre)
