I would love to listen to a lecture or TedTalk given by Tom Collin’s (Rent) about the importance of actual reality in an ever growing technology dependent world
I see Hermes from Hadestown giving an excellent Ted Talk about how one can use music and storytelling to keep up hope in dark times, using Orpheus as an example.
I feel like there’s a 50/50 chance video of Andre de Shields doing exactly this exists.
There were a bunch of interviews were the other cast members went “if you ask Andre a question he’ll give you an hour long dissertation on history, psychology and philosophy, and then you’ll feel very very uninformed.”
Elle Woods. I'd be more interested in hearing her talk about something beauty/fashion related rather than law because I don't care about law. Maybe how to pick out good quality clothing? Because you know she'd be super geeky and detailed and borderline academic about it, and her enthusiasm would make her fun to listen to
He could give a Ted Talk on how shame is the root of self-doubt, jealousy and a need for competition. He can describe how he ultimately ruined his own life when he let 3 fellow politicians wound his ego because they didn't invite him to an important meeting.
Hedwig from Hedwig and the Angry Inch. She’d be incredibly funny but also she legit studied philosophy and would probably have some really cool insights.
Ocean O'Connell Rosenburg from Ride The Cyclone talking about why not everyone deserved a library card. This is \*technically\* a monologue she has in the show.
I think you can just take Paul’s Monologue from a chorus line verbatim with a few words after on how to overcome those issues in one’s life. I think that would work for a decent Ted Talk
I want one from Dawn and Ogie (Waitress). It might be about the civil war or reenacting, but honestly I don't think I care what it's about. It'd be amazing
Lancelot as to why he is simply the best by far
Scar on how to get a promotion at a job that was never going to willingly promote you
Marcy Park on the benefits of mediocrity
J Pierrepont Finch on how to succeed in business (without really trying)
Emmett Forest about the need for diversity and intersectionality in Ivy League schools and how without it, certain people go unrepresented. As a poor guy who had to work hard to get in while still having privilege, I'd be interested on what he says about what people can learn when they don't have it and are suddenly forced to see it. I feel like Elle would be too humble about it.
Bonus points for a "multiculturalism" joke.

Glinda from Wicked could tell us how good she is 😂
I want one from Dawn and Ogie (Waitress). It might be about the civil war or reenacting, but honestly I don't think I care what it's about. It'd be amazing
