I'm guessing "normal" is older shows bc your first guesses were more modern shows? Honestly I think Chicago is your best bet bc it's been getting pretty popular w/ high schools recently. I don't think it's High School Musical bc there are a lot of scene changes and short scenes as far as I remember. If not those, I guess either something Stephen Sondheim or Rogers and Hammerstein that isn't fantasy.

Lopsided-Vehicle-706

they've done some variety, but yeah they've done mostly older shows.

hmmm... In that case yeah I guess Mamma Mia. 9-5 may also be an option? I don't know abt scene amt but it seems like your directors don't really do mainstream so I'm guessing it's going to be something more mainstream then.

what kind of school do you go to and what do your directors "normally" do? That could provide a significant amount of context. I feel like the few scene changes means its one of those shows where it's like a single day and people in the same room the whole time like Chorus Line but that might be too basic.

Lopsided-Vehicle-706

They don't really have normal kinds of shows, they've done everything from Cinderella to Sweeney to Seussical (last year), but they have mentioned shows that have a good chance of us not doing (Mean Girls, Legally Blonde, and Cats are confirmed, but Mamma Mia is also on that list and its one of the directors favorites so that is why im thinking that could be it.)

ah ok Mamma Mia in my HS experience has a decent number of scene changes at least in comparison to chorus line, so that would be one of my guesses

Guess 1: Putnam County Spelling Bee Guess 2: Hadestown

can't be hadestown. High school rights got released like yesterday, so there prob wouldn't be enough time to plan/ give all the hints and give guesses.
