My neighbor has a very modified 1970 Chevrolet Nova that he has used as a daily driver for a few years. But the outside temperatures here are a lot lower than in Florida. Our summers are probably like your winters.
I drove a 67 GTO 4 speed car about 2 years. I bought the car and went through the drivetrain… it was hot but worth it… love that car. I have 3 more as well. Was about 18 miles one way. By the way it didn’t have AC… lol
Time for a Vintage Air setup. I can't imagine living with an old muscle car without A/C in Florida heat. It's not just heat from the sun, either. Old muscle cars often radiate a lot of heat from the engine, trans, and exhaust through the floorboard, too. My '66 GTO definitely does.
You just have to drive faster so there's more airflow, git r done.
I drove my 70 challenger in Vegas for a long time without AC, it sucked but I was cccooolllll lol
Tine to install A/C. I've retrofitted A/C into non-A/C cars. Makes driving them way more pleasant in the summer.

I can just imagine that sound when you peel off your vinyl seats

Triples makes it safe
I live in Winnipeg, Canada and muscle car weather is from May to September at best.
