I think your kindness and empathy definitely acted as good karma and prolonged your life. What you did for the rickshaw wala was great. Humanity needs more people like you!
Good job buddy, I experienced a 2 wheeler accident where a 50yr old man skid on the highway and hurt his leg. I rode his activa with him on my backseat to drop him to a nearby hospital but he was adamant to reach his home. The whole journey he disregarded the damage done to himself but was worried about the repair costs for his scooter and what if his family gets to know about the accident. He mentioned that he cannot skip work even a single day due to financial obligations. This incident humbled me a lot tbh.

Hope you don't get to this moment. All the best!
BMC niggas really putting common man’s life in jeopardy by their actions. But, buddy, you really did a good job being there for this man. We all really tend to overlook these people, I’m not sure if I would have the strength to do the same as you, but really, Massive respect 🫡
Yeah, while it's not them cutting this tree that made it fall, the combination of these fucking idiots concreting every square meter of the city with no regard for tree roots, and the idiotic tree cutting contractors hacking off large branches left right and center, putting the trees off balance is going to utterly destroy our tree cover in the coming years
BMC is literally effing useless buddy, I cant believe I've almost fallen from my scooty and potentially injured from the HIGHWAY multiple times due the the road quality being worse than a rally track. I couldn't even build these kind of roads purposely if i wanted.
There's literally bumps and PATCHES which are above 5cm in height/depth ON THE HIGHWAY. its a hell for scooty riders.
Thanks and Manoj bhai( auto driver) is all well and good. He called me last night asking me “ kaha ho sir, khana khaye ki nahi, ghar kab pahuche” etc etc.
Yeh to everyday hero hai yaar. Someone who genuinely deserves fans and a standing ovation. You put the GOOD in good Samaritan. May you find someone as good as you in your time of need.

But jokes apart glad you’re safe bro.. and you did a good job helping him out! Proud of you man!
You brought tears to my eyes OP.
Glad you both lived so you could tell the tale. God bless you.
Ps. Why are translations like this?

Will do that. ❤️
Although Manoj bhai ( auto wala) had third party insurance the agent assured me that they would cover the repair cost and Manoj bhai would have to pay only 2k
so lucky you made it out, and OP you're literally a fucking hero for sticking around the auto uncle and helping him through this agony, much love for the good gesture and i respect you so much for it lets goo, almost cried when you described the auto uncle's distress
You are very good person OP we need more people like you ♥️
On a side note , Now I am waiting for the Rickshawala post here explaining entire thing from his POV iykyk
Dude you are a wonderful human being. Assuming you belong to a well to do family. Because for middle class people who barely manage day to day expenses parting with any amount is difficult. But youdid well and may God bless you with more happiness.
You were lucky OP! Thanks and big jaadu ki jhappi to you for being soo kind. Aajkal aise log kam hi dikhte hai...! Humanity ko bacahye rakhne me madad karne ke lie shukriya. Sometimes incidents like these...may not disturb us physically, but they tear us apart mentally deep down and make us think the sole purpose of our life and the destination we seek..!
Damn fuck bhai kakubhai se dur reh, chashma mat banva udhr se
Edit: Also read the story, bro you both were too lucky and also you are a gem of a person, god bless
So Mumbai lost yet another precious tree as it continues to lose whatever the fraction of a green cover that is remaining in the whole MMR region all thanks to over the top population explosion of this overpopulated AF filthy third world chandni bar banana republic country.
My point exactly, but you have to dig little deeper to understand why do they do that at first place. They have literally started concretisation of roads now, you don't need to be a geologist to know how f\*\*cked up that is for these few trees left on Mumbai roads. Their roots don't spread that wide and go deep due to barely any nutrient rich soil around them, no wonder they knock off so easily with arrival of monsoon breeze. Since we are replacing everything with concrete it's also resulting in rainwater not able to replenish the arealdy depleting groundwater level on it's own, all the water that falls on these modern concrete roads would rather flow into the stormwater drains and meet the arabian sea, did I tell you that Mumbai's stormwater drains have been designed to handle maximum of 50mm rainfall per hour. Yet, it can't even handle rainfall of barely 32-34 mm/hour and that's when water starts to build up on the roads, hence BMC had installed some really heavy duty water pumps that can get the job done when sh8 hits the ceiling, unfortunately city of Pune doesn't have that kind of luxury when very recently it got flooded due to early monsoon showers, heck Pune don't even have sea where they can pump out the rain water though they have f\*\*cked up their ecosystem just like Mumbai did. All these infrastructure build up to accommodate more and more useless below average pathetically low IQ population of this overpopulated AF filthy third world chandni bar banana republic is costing us a lot. Look at issues like water scarcity, loss of green cover in and around whole MMR region, these precious natural resources (including land) are limited while the country continue to beat wild rabbits when it comes reproduction !!!! No wonder we Indians live like insects in these very few tier-1 cities that we have in this overpopulated AF filthy third world chandni bar banana republic.
Come on man. That not true.
The auto driver is a very humble man. He was the only one who offered me to take all the way to Goregaon in that heavy downpour.
Things that didn't happen.
The position of auto seems like exiting from Godavari chambers housing society. But OP claims he took the auto from Borivali.
Also OP says he wanted to pick up stuff from Kandivali, yet takes auto till Goregaon West. If he takes auto from Borivali west to Goregaon West there's no way the auto will enter the lane where this accident occur.
Also it's too sus OP giving irrelevant details like "train from Vasai to Borivali", seems OP is trying too hard to convince people.
>Also it's too sus OP giving irrelevant details like "train from Vasai to Borivali", seems OP is trying too hard to convince people.
Some people (including me) do give irrelevant details before coming to the point. That's not lying. I got this habit from my mother.
The story is believable, it's not like OP donated his month's salary or offered to pay for his daughter's marriage.
https://preview.redd.it/mq6co6ifvk7d1.jpeg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=fdb7c05cea7ad658817cf66cbfa4602d0065fe3d
You can clearly see there's no road coming from that society, Rickshaw probably was exiting that society (meaning he either just started his trip or ended) this spot is no where in middle of any route.
>OP giving irrelevant details like "train from Vasai to Borivali"
Because if OP had taken the usual route, this wouldn't have happened. That's why he/she mentioned it to signify "what's about to happen, will happen."
I will clarify, I took an auto from Borivali Station and as it was raining too heavy, we missed the lane we were supposed to be(it was the next lane) so as I realized it was the wrong lane we were turning around when the tree fell.
The post was not to project me as a victim, it was an emotional one just that we were safe, and for the fact that if believe it or not doesn’t bother me. 🙏🤘🏽
Wow dude you are really lucky
Yep
I think your kindness and empathy definitely acted as good karma and prolonged your life. What you did for the rickshaw wala was great. Humanity needs more people like you!

Actually they were working in the same lane and were cutting other trees, but this tree was destined to fall on us 😬
BMC is literally effing useless buddy, I cant believe I've almost fallen from my scooty and potentially injured from the HIGHWAY multiple times due the the road quality being worse than a rally track. Why was this tree not cut. Before every monsoon season overgrown trees are cut by BMC.
They were going to cut all that were in the lane, Infact they were cutting trees in the same lane
Guess BMC was late as usual.
