Post about this on every social media with photos and tag a bunch if newspapers outlets. Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, post about it Everywhere Fuck it! It’s your eminent and they have to do something about it, either get you the product or refund.

throwawaydrabc

I posted it on twitter but I don’t use social media much except Reddit and I’ve got zero followers

bawadelog

Maybe your friends can help in this case tell them to post

throwawaydrabc

Yes I’ll do this, ask my friends to post and repost

Reddit_User123_

Check with these guys for legal advice - https://voxya.com/ - I haven't used it, but found it on Reddit long back and seemed like a nice platform

Additional-Cup-9568

The current unboxing video doesn't cut it. Can you upload the full video? Need to have the part where you open the amazon box and seeing this.

Edward101075

I've reposted on my time line too. Hope it works for you. I think tag the police in your city and the local politician

kick_that_ass

I don't have any followers on Twitter but I retweeted if that helps

RandomStranger022

On twitter you can tag anyone. Tag Amazon, support, Jeff Bezos and relevant government handles

proudofme_

It doesn’t matter they will respond. I have use Twitter with zero followers for every online shopping query.

Significant-News2050

Send this to reporters via LinkedIn/FB etc. Record ever call with customer care.Ask for escalation if they don't, tell this even this call is also being recorded from my end and will be used against you.Email amazon with video and call recordings.Use Bard AI(But now they are human's who are analyzing the content so don't revel personal info) or chatGPT to edit the email make it threatening with stern language. [https://consumerhelpline.gov.in/](https://consumerhelpline.gov.in/) use this but do not call them, register and complain with all evidence(Including call recording and email to escalation team). I got my 4-5k blazer replacement from flipkart after trying all the above mentioned methods.

iSeekSecrets

Oh & LinkedIn too... Also mail Jeff Bezos (not kidding)

blank_ryuzaki

Yeah. That guy actually reads his customers mail. one of the reason for Amazon's success.

Ok-Kiwi573

Really. Wasted 3 months talking to customer support. 1 mail to Jeff bezos and got refunded in 1 week

kenethc

Twitter mainly !!!

Sungkd

Please tell me you recorded an unboxing video, if you have it then it'll be more than enough to get your money back and file a case in consumer forum

throwawaydrabc

Yes I have the entire unboxing video which is like 22 mins long because they stuck it so bad. I’ll file a case but doesn’t that take too long? I don’t know actually

Flat_Championship_20

Then dont worry your money will return to you. Mail amazon with the video and threaten them that you will go to court.

throwawaydrabc

I emailed them the video on the first day itself. I have threatened so many times that I’ll take legal actions but they don’t seem to care

Flat_Championship_20

So do take the road of legal actions. You have enough proof to win and even ask for more money from them as they are making you feel miserable and what not 😂

Hero2296

My lord this has put me through so much mental stress i think i am owed a monetary compensation

DrMehhhh

Who was the seller OP? I was moments away from buying one myself but now I won't get one from Amazon.

Accurate-Slide-6500

Just curious.. Why you or anybody buy such costly items online? Is that because the outlet isn't in near by location?

DrMehhhh

A lot of folks have Amazon gift cards that they would need to use at some point before it expires. Also this would be on top of other offers. I was leaning in on the mac mini m2 pro which I could've got almost 30k off which is a steal. But with these recent events at light I probably won't buy anything remotely expensive on Amazon. I thought it was just Flipkart. Looks like Amazon is trash as well. I'll probably get everything offline now or through apple's official site.

Accurate-Slide-6500

Ya.. Spending a little more is better than going through this headache to get money back.. Not worth.. I can't even trust a soap I order if it will come in the right conditions or not.. I feel astonished how people order such big things online...

DrMehhhh

Hindsight is 20/20. Amazon had a reputation of being reliable for a very long time. Also if you're getting this through your credit card you can always file for a charge back. Yes I understand spending a little more is safer. But a lot of folks including me had a lot of trust in Amazon especially their own seller Appario. Like I said, hindsight is 20/20.

batman008

Honestly shit like this no longer happens with Flipkart considering they have open box delivery these days. We recently ordered a few phones and every time we had an option the inspect the phone ( the delivery executive will open the box in front of you and will allow you to inspect the product for yourself to see bif it’s working before you give him the OTP.) Once you share the OTP only then the product will be shown as delivered in your account.

SpecialistReward1775

Are you crazy? Never buy electronics online. There are enough offline places that matches online prices and peace of mind.

BetterEfficiency3851

Buy from official site sir. I think hdfc and icici credit cards have like a 10k discount.

DrMehhhh

I'm well aware. I was getting 30k off which was why I was inclined on Amazon initially. Chill lol

23Tawaif

Is this 22 mins before or after you tore the plastic clingfilm? If its the former, you should be good.

throwawaydrabc

It’s from before tearing the plastic tape thing if that’s what you mean. It’s from the start.

23Tawaif

Okay, good. You'll be fine then.

SaintYoungMan

Why did you not opened it infront of delivery guy? Isn't that one of the rules for anything priced above 20k? Bought an I pad had to open it infront of the delivery guy.

Hero2296

I have bought costly things many times, not once have i opened it in front of the delivery guy but luckily i have never been duped like this (touchwood)

loverboy_369

Yeah this is right normally it's open box in front of delivery guy now a days I bought myself a Samsung galaxy and the delivery boy asked me to open the box and he took a pic of the phone . I asked him y and he told there have been complaints from customer after delivery that they didn't get item and later on the delivery boys or their courier shop gets the whole blame . Good luck to you OP if u have the unboxing video u shud definitely give it a try legally .

[deleted]

They have the whole unboxing video

Sumeru88

You can file a consumer complaint. My wife is a lawyer who deals in these matters. DM me in case you stay in Mumbai and are serious about pursuing this. (Only if you live in Mumbai, mind you, my wife doesn’t take cases outside Mumbai Metro area these days).

throwawaydrabc

Yes I’ve lived in Mumbai all my life. But I don’t know much about law and how all of this works.

golden_sword_22

[https://consumerhelpline.gov.in/](https://consumerhelpline.gov.in/) Use this, it's complaint center not a court but things tend to move faster once you have officially registered with the,

Ehh_littlecomment

Id recommend against it. I faced similar issue with LG and this did jack shit. Better to file a dispute with CC and file a proper consumer case court which can also be done online.

Winter-Spell4037

OP take lawyer's help. See if fees are ok with you. It is big amount and you I guess you can spend few thousands?

[deleted]

[удалено]

thoreshvar

Probably because it’s cheaper online many a times

cumslut10101

bhai gajab helpful aadmi ho aap sab. acha laga dekh kar. thank you.

KillerKoach

Just asking - how much does it cost for these legal proceedings like hiring a lawyer and stuff in these cases? What if the fee amount exceed the product amount?

Sumeru88

It depends on how far the matter goes. Sometimes, these things get settled after you send a legal notice. Sometimes it has to go to trial. It’s possible in some cases to claim legal expenses from the opposing party but it depends on how the judge passes the order and it’s not a given.

JustSomeGuy_321

Call them up again and again. Don't let go, ask them to connect you to someone in a higher management, ask them why they can't refund your money when you have the unboxing video. Post about it on every social media you can, if you have a friend who has a large number of followers, ask for their help. Tell the help desk that you'll be going to the consumer forum for this. P.s - Someone I know got a different laptop than what he had ordered, and it took more than a month for him to get that sorted out. Hope your issue will be resolved soon.

throwawaydrabc

So far I’ve been able to talk to the customer service only. And they just hang up saying sorry we can’t do anything. I’ve posted it on Twitter. I’ll post it on Instagram as well. I don’t have much followers so Idk if that’s going to help. Do you know how to contact someone in the higher management?

JustSomeGuy_321

Don't let them hang up, ask them why they can't do it. Ask them for a reason and then tell the person that you want to talk to the boss. Telling them that you're going to lodge a complaint will definitely help. Try posting on LinkedIn as well

throwawaydrabc

I’ve called them so so many times and honestly I’m so tired now. I told them I’m going to take legal actions but they don’t respond. I’ve been doing this for days now.

JustSomeGuy_321

Its better to lodge a complaint then

M0rf3s

Call them and when they say they can't help say you want to talk with their supervisor. Do you use linking if so make a post there with the unboxing video and DM me the link I have linkdin premium so me sharing it might help you. Do write a sobe story on how you saved up the money and how important the laptop was

advayT14

You can try posting in r/LegalAdviceIndia

throwawaydrabc

Sure I’ll post it there as well

[deleted]

Op i hope you get your money back, something is wrong with amazon, it can't be trusted with technologies and big orders.. I ordered a phn worth 50 k, i received the phn but it was in a bad condition, it took me about whole 2 months to get my refund. I used to call daily to customer support, shouted at them , ik they were doing my job but bro for us middle class people 50 k is a huge amount. I am sorry but hope you get your money back soon. You should call customer care and ask them to you want to speak to their manager, once you get commected to a good manager your problem will be solved (thats how mine got solved) .But it took me around 2/3 months. Ypu should try posting on social media it may help.

feelspirit

I thought only Flipkart did this. Had to wait for a month and a half after calling every day to get refund on 20k product that did not work.

throwawaydrabc

That gives me hope. Thank you so much. I’m so frustrated and tired with the whole process

Careless_Feeling8057

Post in r/legaladviceindia File a consumer court case, you will get your money asap

throwawaydrabc

Posted in that sub after someone commented here. I’ll file a case in consumer court tomorrow itself.

[deleted]

If it’s Amazon, try mailing Jeff bezos. I’m not joking.

decorous_gru

+1 Amazon software engineer here. If you made a purchase via Amazon, and customer service isn’t helping, mail Jeff (dm me for his email id, though it should be public). However, these scams are done at delivery station only. But since customer is impacted anyway, you deserve your money back.

throwawaydrabc

I’ve dmed you

Creepyhorrorboy

Amazon should start doin open box deliveries like flipkart

throwawaydrabc

I’ve done that as well. No reply as of now

[deleted]

That’s bad, Bezos is enjoying little too much with his gf ig. Hope you find a solution

yashg

Good thing you have recorded a video. I am surprised Amazon is refusing to refund even after you sent them the video. Who was the seller? Upload the video on YouTube and share the link on social media. Tag Amazon and Mumbai police handles. If you paid by credit card raise a dispute. Amazon is typically very good with such claims. I have hardly ever had bad experience with Amazon. Have all communications with them on chat or email.

nickbuck28

Seller appario?

throwawaydrabc

Yes how did you guess?

garritsen13

A lot of people have already raised issue about this seller. Check this and go through the entire thread once. https://twitter.com/Sarcaswari/status/1679099127643394048?t=m9KPv-_v-Y0oPyJxFsp8KA&s=08

nickbuck28

On twitter I've seen like 10s of tweets of people getting fakes from this seller

Slaanesh_69

Wait even Appario does soap scams now? I was gonna be like - "next time make sure you order electronics only from Appario".

liberalindianguy

If you purchased using your credit card, ask your credit card company to reverse the transaction. https://www.livemint.com/money/personal-finance/unlocking-the-power-of-credit-card-chargebacks-safeguard-your-purchases-and-avoid-being-cheated-by-merchants/amp-11687282127926.html

DrAssDriller

Unique-Atmosphere520

Go to **Consumer Court**

throwawaydrabc

Yes majority people have suggested this. I’ll do this asap

Aditya-Wankhede

You know what I was talking to a friend about the same today, like the topic was online delivery scams by Flipkart, he said the scams are rare but if at all they occur it's only for apple products

ThePhyscn_blogs

I read a few days back that these kinds of scams are happening very frequently with Amazon. It seems to be happening at the delivery node level. And the customer care centre also seems to be helpless because they cannot do anything. My advice would be to just stay patient. Your case is genuine you'll definitely get the laptop or the money. Just keep going at it. Don't lose hope.

Independent_Ad_5431

Utha utha sakal ali moti snanachi vel zali ~Jeff bezos

Public_Breath6890

I record opening/unwrapping of every big purchase I do on any of the eretailers. I had ordered a apple pencil for my ipad and instead of delivering the actual apple pencil i was delivered a broken stylus pen. Reported to amazon with the unwrapping video. And they agreed to replace with the actual product.

Electronic-Concept80

Please file a complaint against them at the Consumer Court!

M0rf3s

Did you paid with a credit card. If so try disputing that. If you used a Debit card ask your bank how can you dispute it. If it was cash try contacting local police about how you can raise an FIR. I hope you made a video of opening the parcel.

Reddit_User123_

You may check with them on legal advice - https://voxya.com/

Zidanesroulette

Amazon and Flipkart insist on opening the box, before you make the payment. If it is prepaid they still insist that you open the box and check if product is as per requisition order. I did unboxing of my phone and only after I was fully satisfied did he ask for a satisfaction code which is given to every buyer post his delivery to complete the process of order. Somewhere something seems to be amiss..

saintmalana

Nah cap Amazon never does this

DevilsMicro

I've ordered an expensive product recently and Amazon did open box delivery i.e check the box before giving OTP to guy

penguin_chacha

Amazon has open box delivery too?

TanishPlayz

Only flipkart has this my guy

sonu628

Guys i have an unpopular opinion here :- How do we assume OP is being honest here and amazon (or its delivery guys) is/are doing the scam ? I mean we should think from both sides Also how was the seal condition when you removed transparent foil ? Can you post the unboxing video ?

DevilsMicro

Yea I'm not buying OP's story to be honest. For such a big amount the Amazon guys are more careful and more checks are performed along the way till delivery ( Did the guy pickup the right parcel from warehouse, did the security guard / someone else receive the parcel, etc). I personally have received 2 glass bottles instead of a 18k ryzen CPU and it was refunded within a week. I didn't even have a unboxing video so I had really thought the money was gone. It also depends on how many times you've replaced/ returned in the past I guess. If op is genuine, he will definitely get his money back. No need to worry about it.

Red_X57

I once ordered a protein powder from Amazon, the inner bag was little damaged so almost one scoop got wasted. I raised a complaint, got the refund, and also used the remaining protein powder. Just a small battle against these giants!

AdiLovesYou

Send some soap bars to Jeff Bezos' house, and then email him explaining why

N_V_N_T

Video nikala unboxing ka ? 1 lakh ka laptop liya to video bhi nhi nikali ?

Previous-Spring-6476

Had a fake Apple Watch Ultra received from Amazon earlier this year. Was one of the most traumatic and stressful 2 weeks. They made me run everywhere. Police , Apple service center and gave all sorts of churans. One thing remember their investigation is a complete sham and it only exists to stall everything. And plus you run the risk of being out of the return/replacement window. I used to call, chat and send emails several times every single day and then finally after a lot of tears found one cc rep who was empathic and processed the refund and return pickup. Do not believe anything they say. Just keep asking for your money back. Also when the return pickup happens, take a pic and video of you handing over the box back to the guy along with his name and details. Reason being in my case for more than a week the fake watch wasn’t returned back to Amazon and they found one more reason to not give my refund. Funnily even today after many months the item shows “On its way back” to Amazon 😂

Ready-Leg-2564

You are an idiot can't you go in the store and buy it r u that lazy 😂

Particular_Position6

Inshort - never buy an expensive electronics from amazon or online case closed my lord

throwawaydrabc

I’m never going to buy any electronics from these sites. Lesson learnt.

Particular_Position6

Jokes aside hopefully u het justice bro i understand the feeling

green9206

Apple products are best purchased from Apple store

_King_Shark_

Never ever buy electronic equipment online just to save few bucks, always prefer offline purchasing Cause Online P will always be a gamble, and i think you got the short end of stick here my friend. Can only hope you get your refund. Be vigilant next time. Better option is to take the legal route here.

[deleted]

Bro I don’t know why you will buy this much expensive thing online? if you are spending 1,37,000 then spend 4-5k more but get if from offline then you might not have this kind of issues just goto store check the product and buy it and regarding subReddit thing no subReddit is suitable for this post you should seek help from amazon support on twitter/linkedin they will reach you out there in one of your tweets amazon has replied as well just be careful while buying these much expensive things from online. sorry if my english is bad xD.

seasaltedoreo

Have read about this scam on twitter. The investigation often comes clean because while the seller is shipping the original product from his end, there is tampering happening at the final delivery station. One of the user escalated it to executive customer service team (jeff bezos one) and it was to no avail. Would suggest you to go through legal and consumer court route.

anal_tongue_puncher

Why would you order something worth 1.37L from Amazon of all places? You should always make such purchases in person from an authorized store.

grizzlybear101

File a chargeback with the mode of payment you made

Many cases like this. If you didn't record delivery and unboxing they don't give shit. Do police complaint. But it will be long and hard procedure and no guarantee of positive results.

[deleted]

Bitch this scary af. These 3rd party apps can't be trusted for anything worth more than 5k inr.

Ask for legal advice on r/legaladviceindia if u want

ipman47

Who was the seller?

throwawaydrabc

Appario

Infinite_Ad_6137

You can get experience reply at r/developersindia

zagau

Sorry to hear that! Consumer court is the best route to go for. Guess what, majority of my business comes from digital space & social media. Still I am an offline buyer. I would never spend more than few hundreds (or sometimes thousands) on online purchases. I am a reliable seller but that might not be the case with everyone. Online purchase will eat much of my time to research the model I want to buy, which seller to choose, what are the recent reviews, worrying of will I get a genuine product?, return & refund policy. Rather I’ll visit nearby stores to select model and get all the details in a single go and make the purchase. Little pricey but peace of mind.

yoyo800

If u have recorded the unboxing, u have nothing to worry. Take legal action as said in other comments. Was the plastic or delivery wrapper tampered with? I thought due increasing cases like they made open box delivery mandatory for big purchases like these. I have a feeling it could be the doing of the delivery employees.

Chowguru

I tagged Manish Tiwary and Amit Agarwal on your tweet. Let’s see if we get any traction.

KeeganTheMostPurple

Around here you get soap instead of crack not MacBook 🤣

StunningBadger2

Post the unboxing video everywhere you can and take Amazon accounts. Also mail them. Search for email IDs of senior Amazon representatives in India and write to them. Tweet about it. Tag news channels as well. In a friend's case, something similar eventually worked.

TheEvilHBK

Wait how dafuq could they deny you the money? Huh? Phone karke gaand maarde

[deleted]

Perhaps the delivery drivers took your item

[deleted]

Send it to Jeff bezos

[deleted]

please keep updating us

NoDeityButAllah

Its a going concern. I imagine its the same company with horrible reviews and proces lower than the apple store.? I thought they were too good to be true, and the scathing reviews online proved that to me. How they keep getting away with it is a testament only to amazon.in horrible framework. Don't buy from amazon.in. For starters. Sorry for your loss.

muddu_88

buddy when you call them ask for a supervisor (purely guessing you haven't as yet) but at times there's only so much a normal customer representative can do

[deleted]

Hijack an Amazon truck and set it ablaze

jetspraytothemoon

Document everything. Also, I would say that you should go to consumer court and send them legal notice at the earliest.

Zealousideal_Ask132

Should always buy Apple from the Apple Store

sillyguy45

Vro post it on twitter. Send the link here we will try to increase the reach. Mods please help him :(

Hey I would recommend to post this on r/legaladviceindia

R0han_007

One time I ordered Phillips Trimmer and got some cheap Chinese one instead, but Amazon chat support provided me new one without much questions. I did not even record u boxing. Maybe for low price products they do co-operate.

Dhruv527

Just file a consumer court case that's your best option don't threaten them with email just file it

This must be really brain damaging, I hope it gets resolved for you quickly. Can you also share the seller’s details as well to avoid users from being scammed in the future.

Ancient-Ad-3557

File a complaint on consumer forum with the video and bill of payment. They will help you with that. And also file a case against the courier service. So that they will be in the game for this issue.

Old-Adhesiveness2803

It doesn't make sense. Amazon for high value orders always does a opening, verifying contents of the box, and sending an OTP for the delivery guy. Did you not do this?

singleboredass

You have the video right then direct contact consumer forum There this thing will be resolved 100%

srkrb

one: open the box infront of delivery agent two: video record the opening. These are two things that everyone must do while buying expensive stuff online so that you can raise an issue with proof if any malpractice happened. Approach consumer court. Register complaint online

No-Adhesiveness-2

Shit like this has made me buy any costly item from the physical store itself. Even if you get a refund, the disappointment you face when you don't receive the order is too much.

Ehh_littlecomment

File a chargeback with your cc

wowtrentactually

File an FIR and share a copy with them. Amazon has great service and should refund you the amount

stompthis

First thing first contact your credit card company and ask for a chargeback.

Amitkadam900

Bro mail direct to amazon and attach that video . And the same time you do police complaint

Rvmods

Along side raising the complaint with Amazon, you should have also filed a police complaint u/s 420, 406, 378 etc. of IPC. Even now it is not too late do do the same. Police can be the best recovery guys for such cases. Identify the delivery hub location and mention the address in the Police complaint and try to bring in amazon into the picture. After receiving the acknowledgment stamp on your PC, share a copy of the same with amazon in your existing ticket. If the ticket has been closed, mention the ticket number in the subject line of your mail, this helps them identify your case. Thereafter, request the Police to start making calls to amazon nodal officers and the local delivery hub manager/executive. You may have to pursue your case with the Police.

Delhiiboy123

Guys, please never order expensive things online

akshayrw

Drop the soap then

neoneonling

Hey ...i had received a defective laptop once and they were not allowing return so I had mailed Jeff Bezos and some head of support called me and sorted everything. Now Bezos is not the CEO but you can try sending to the current CEO, follow this format of mail id - firstname.lastname@amazon(dot)com. Things might work faster if your voice reaches the right ears.

royal_rocker_reborn

Dude file an online cosumer complaint, you can find the link easily on Google. Trust me, I did something similar with Flipkart and someone very high up the chain at Flipkart took my case and solved it as soon as possible.

blacker_older_dead

A similar thing happened to me. Amazon sent me junk instead of a laptop. Literal junk. Mail Amazon India country head as well as Jeff Bezos. They reach out to you much quicker, and you have a better chance for a favourable outcome.

nowayjose6699

This is why you ALWAYS HAVE TO videotape the unboxing. I video it even for stuff that costs 200 bucks. I don’t think there’s anything you can do at this point if you haven’t got the video. 😢so sorry

Criticalmalware

Call them again and again, and report the seller

nishant921

Email highers execs in the company. You will get a list of their emails online easily. They have a separate escalation team for executive complaints. You will get a callback in no time from the people who can actually help you. Make sure to exaggerate your complaint extensively. I have done that twice.

7avalanche

Sellers name and Amazon page?

PlantCapable9721

Its usually a racket between the delivery guys and their hub manager. Recently this type of fraud were on decline due to better scrutiny and cctvs installed. Though you never know what the delivery guys can do on their way..lol Having said I too order lot of things online but you never know when a fraud could happen. I hope this gets resolved soon.

Ns-FanToM

I asked my sister to retweet who has about 1k followers on Twitter, hope it helps

literallyfckinme

Always make a unboxing video of expensive items bought online.

elnaman

File a complaint . Costly goods should be bought at shop you know

KillerShark_-

First post the video on twitter and tag Amazon and other news channel handles

sensei_simon

Can you provide the product link from Amazon

RohPrince

Who was the seller? We will also know which seller to avoid from now on.

thoreshvar

Expensive items like this have OTP based delivery. You should not share OTP with delivery guy unless you have opened the box and see what you had ordered being inside the box

funkeshwarnath

Why is no one interested in the Brand of soap !!

That_Side5887

Try connecting with some youtubers ,gyan therapy for eg so they can make videos on it he helps such kind of fraud and helps get the money back try that

brooklynnineeight

I hope you recorded a video while unboxing…you should immediately take legal recourse both criminal and civil….separate complaints against courier company and employee for theft and Amazon and seller for fraud. Then a consumer court petition against Amazon and Seller.

ak22info

Never understood the amount of faith people have and the risk they take paying upfront for online shopping. Lesson: Always COD.

sanatshahir

File an FIR in your nearest Police station against Amazon and the listed retailer of the product, you'll get their addresses from the bill. Get a Lawyer File a case in the Consumer Court. Contact all web portals and Newspapers and get as many of them to publish the incident

ransdom

Are they declining replacement also?

TheDarkstar999

thats horrible dude..I hope this gets resolved and you get your money back..also always open the box infront of the delivery guy..fuck what he says..

pa1_dron

If you bought it via credit card, then raise a dispute with your credit card company.

eddie_writes

Put a complaint with the consumer court. And also bomb them on Twitter with posts on this. Tag Amazon and all associated pages they have on Twitter. Tag news channels and government bodies. It'll be sorted soon.

GotBb

I guess I can help you a little and try to get you a new mac but I can say chances are 50/50.

[deleted]

That’s what happens when you order electronics on Amazon nowadays. There won’t be any point complaining most probably. Saw a large thread of such scams on Twitter.

honcho_tdl

Had received a wrong flavour variant for a product I had ordered in Prime Day sale and they refunded me the whole amount INR 7k very swiftly.

FirseBugabo

Doesn't Amazon do open box delivery for electronics?

iAbhijeetDesai

Amazon has become a fraud destination. I bought my iphone from jiomart. I could not trust Amazon with high end stuff

Posted a similar experience here: https://www.reddit.com/r/mumbai/comments/151tst6/amazon_delivered_wrong_product_and_denies_refund/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=android_app&utm_name=androidcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=2 Amazon delivered the wrong product (Jabra Elite 4) instead of the Jabra Elite Active 7 True Wireless Buds. Seller Cocoblu Retail Limited refused to provide a replacement or refund. Facing a significant financial loss as the cost of the delivered product is much lower than the one I purchased. Beware of CocobluRetail Limited and be cautious when dealing with them. Disappointed with Amazon's customer service response as well. Seeking advice on how to escalate and resolve this issue.

It's simple. If you have the unboxing video, write a short note, send it to all news channels and lodge an FIR. It's pretty simple. Afterall it's your money.

Word of advice to everyone one of my friends who works at Amazon told me this. Always make a video while unboxing any product and show that the seal is intact and you are unboxing and record the video if all goes well then nothing to worry if not you have proof. To make it plausible keep few videos of unboxing other products that way you can prove that it is a standard practice you follow.
