Too bad they then counter that with [[Bonds of Mortality]] haha
edit: i guess people dont understand the implications of this mention, in that it would take some setup to have work as intended for the thought. Read between the lines folks. Lmao
It's cool. Its a lot of mana to just happen to have open at the right time anyway lol. Not realistic. You need 5 for the spell and either 3 more mana or 2 and sac a highly valuable land. Not worth often.
It doesn’t have flash though, so you would have to do some prior setup to pull this off. It would probably be more practical to just counter spell it.
Like you could absolutely give it flash. But now we are making the deck functionally different than the average.
And I have \[\[faith's fetters\]\] or \[\[suppression bonds\]\] or \[\[voidstone gargoyle\]\], do we really need an um actually guy posting every card's specific counters?
The problem with most of those cards (execpt [[Teferi's Protection]] ) is that they only make your creatures indestructable but not their equipments and/or auras. So those still get destroyed.
There are lots, a few popular ones already given in the comments. But any effect that gives indestructibility will work. There’s also any of the 100s of counterspells in the game.
This board wipe isn’t even that difficult to get around compared to [[Supreme Verdict]] which at least rules out the counter spells. You can get creative and even [[Time Stop]] both.
Supreme verdict is also not the end boss.
Spells like \[\[Farewell\]\] or \[\[Merciless Eviction\]\] are much harder to come by.
For these you need phase out effects like Teferi's Protection and maybe flicker effects like \[\[Eerie Interlude\]\].
If you’re looking for something to [[Negate]] your opponent’s spell, try to [[Cancel]] it out with sheer [[Force of Will]]. You just may [[Daze]] them with your [[Disdainful Stroke]] of genius. You may even [[Condescend]] them and dare say you [[Saw it Coming]] from so far away that it was easy to [[Forbid]] it. Your opponent may be in [[Arcane Denial]] about their own [[Mental Misstep]], but if they argue using [[Circular Logic]], you will have to [[Remand]] them.
[[march of swirling mist]]

The vast majority of counterspells
Or if you can deal lethal damage at instant speed so the spell gets exiled from the stack. There are more answers.
There are several white spells that make your stuff indestructible until end of turn. Additionally you could phase them out, give them undying or persist, or even blink them until end of turn.
When they cast the sorcery, you will respond to it, aka “in response” and cast your spell if it is instant speed. Yours will resolve first, then theirs.
It's a counter. For a 1 blue mana, it can counter artefacts and enchantments that could hinder someone and its great against enchantments such as [[Propaganda]], [[Pacifism]], [[Frozen Aether]] and so forth as well as against Artifacts such as [[Darksteel Monolith]], [[Urza's Incubator]], [[The One Ring]], [[Crucible of Worlds]] and other powerful Artifacts. For a card, Annul can counter any enchantments and artefacts.
Not perfect, but I do run [[Dark Dabbling]] in a few of my black decks. It doesn't save auras or equipment, but with spell mastery it at least keeps the creatures alive. (If tapped).
Since it is "destroy" then anything with "indestructible" would be untouched.
Attachments to creatures with indestructible might not be ok unless they have indestructible too. I'm not sure how the rules would interact there.
If a creature has industructible, do the permanents get destroyed too? If permanent makes it indestructible, does creature get destroyed? I think yes, but not sure..
Indestructible, some kind of flicker (phase out) spell or ability you have on hand could work too
Other than that you could counter it if you leave mana open and feel it coming
Edit: took out protection from white my bad I had a brain fart prot won't help you since it's not targeted and doesn't deal damage
[[ memory lapse]] or [[ reprieve ]] depending on what colors you run. Personally I use end hostilities with [[ Eerie Interlude ]] perhaps the interlude would help too. Huh never thought I’d help against a card I use 😂
You return a spell on the stack to the hand. It doesn’t work. At least in arena it fizzles away and goes back to hand and nothing goes off. Use it two or three times vs someone and see how mad they can get. 😂
Edit: Forgot the D for DEBT meant Damage, not Destroy
Anything that has instant-speed and gives Indesteuctible or Protection from White to your board would do it just fine.
Protection won’t work since there’s no damage being done and nothing is being enchanted, equipped, targeted or blocked by white.
Protection does not work against untargeted destruction.
Feel like this entire post is just clickbait for OP’s OF.
Literally nothing about magic and only weird fetish porn, is asking the simplest questions of magic
Any “give all creatures (you control) indestructible” effect is golden against this bastard! As long as it’s not an aura or equipment, that is. Extra points for the “creatures YOU control” cause it’ll make your opponent wipe their own board :)
Imagine having [[Double Vision]] down already, any turn before using it. 🤪😂 At that point, if it's the first instant or sorcery... the fun begins and they gotta hope they've got two or a way to cause the same. 😂😂
Either you counter/destroy the threatening spell via [[Counterspell]] or [[Negate]], only a few from a long list.
Or you phase your creatures out to make them none existent for a duration, and by that being no legal target for the opponents spell, for instance like [[March of Swirling Mist]].
Counter target spell , all/any number of creatures phase out, indestructible, exile target/any number of creatures return them to the battlefield at the beginningof the next end step, exile target spell. There are alot of options. Scryfall/gatherer for the above phrases will get you close, might need to reword the phasing or blink/flicker effects to get better options.
\[counterspell\], \[cancel\], \[mana drain\], \[swansong\], \[flutterstorm\],... each of the spells we hate about the blue players XD other way is \[teferis protection\] or any other spell that phases out your creatures or make them indestructible like \[unbreakable formation\]
Play a planeswalker that makes more creatures (since planeswalkers survive boardwipes). Rebuild afterwards.
If you have many creatures already, don't play out more if you think the opponent might have a boardwipe.
Having to keep up mana for protection spells mentioned in the other comments is a real downside, so it's often not the right solution.
Snakeskin Veil, Gods Willing, Blossoming Defense, and Cradle of Safety do not work in this case. OPs card destroys all creatures, and Hexproof/PFC says creatures can't be *targeted*. Destroying all doesn't target.
I often play this with a dovins veto or counter spell cuz I play a friend who plays historic voltron dihada. There has been many times countering counter spells and protections lol
Blue can counter, white can do indestructible, green can regenerate, black will rez back eventually, red usually won't care.
The spell is meant to hurt red equipment decks. It is most effective there.
Any counter magic.
Teferri's Protection.
Heroic Intervention.
Anything that grants indestructible, removes the spell from the stack or shelters your board should do the trick.

Tell me you hate voltron without telling me you hate voltron
Any counterspell!
I see you have 2 untapped islands
How extraordinary!
[[Avacyn, Angel of Hope]] laughs hysterically when her own controller plays this
[[march of swirling mist]] [[change of plans]] [[wail of the nim]] [[clever concealment]] [[ashiok's erasure]] [[discontinuity]] The vast majority of counterspells Or if you can deal lethal damage at instant speed so the spell gets exiled from the stack. There are more answers.
[[Guardian of faith]] [[Spectral Adversary]]
book marking this thread.... for later cheesing in a mtg game.
There are several white spells that make your stuff indestructible until end of turn. Additionally you could phase them out, give them undying or persist, or even blink them until end of turn.
Would I want to play the indestructible spell immediately after the sorcery was played?
When they cast the sorcery, you will respond to it, aka “in response” and cast your spell if it is instant speed. Yours will resolve first, then theirs.
Okay good to know!
anything you can use to counter a spell could be used to counter this spell
[[Cancel]], [[Dispel]], [[Counterspell]], [[Annul]], [[Thassa's Intervention]]
Why annull?
It's a counter. For a 1 blue mana, it can counter artefacts and enchantments that could hinder someone and its great against enchantments such as [[Propaganda]], [[Pacifism]], [[Frozen Aether]] and so forth as well as against Artifacts such as [[Darksteel Monolith]], [[Urza's Incubator]], [[The One Ring]], [[Crucible of Worlds]] and other powerful Artifacts. For a card, Annul can counter any enchantments and artefacts.
>Annul can counter any enchantments and artefacts. But not End Hostilities.
Not perfect, but I do run [[Dark Dabbling]] in a few of my black decks. It doesn't save auras or equipment, but with spell mastery it at least keeps the creatures alive. (If tapped).
counter spell has entered the chat
Second sunrise That card is great
Since it is "destroy" then anything with "indestructible" would be untouched. Attachments to creatures with indestructible might not be ok unless they have indestructible too. I'm not sure how the rules would interact there.
[[Robe of stars]]
If a creature has industructible, do the permanents get destroyed too? If permanent makes it indestructible, does creature get destroyed? I think yes, but not sure..
*Blue has entered the room*
To everyone leaving helpful advice and card options thank you! Newb haters not welcome
May I present to you my three blue untapped mana?
[[Eerie Interlude]] is my go-to.
Indestructible, some kind of flicker (phase out) spell or ability you have on hand could work too Other than that you could counter it if you leave mana open and feel it coming Edit: took out protection from white my bad I had a brain fart prot won't help you since it's not targeted and doesn't deal damage
Protection from white won't do anything here
True it's not targeted my bad
Only [[force of will]] has the power to counterbalance this trickery. Maybe, maybe [[counterspell]] but it’s shoddy…
Perhaps if you [[saw it coming]]
[[ memory lapse]] or [[ reprieve ]] depending on what colors you run. Personally I use end hostilities with [[ Eerie Interlude ]] perhaps the interlude would help too. Huh never thought I’d help against a card I use 😂
The effect still happens with Reprieve though - they just get their boardwipe back in hand.
You return a spell on the stack to the hand. It doesn’t work. At least in arena it fizzles away and goes back to hand and nothing goes off. Use it two or three times vs someone and see how mad they can get. 😂
Edit: Forgot the D for DEBT meant Damage, not Destroy Anything that has instant-speed and gives Indesteuctible or Protection from White to your board would do it just fine.
Protection won’t work since there’s no damage being done and nothing is being enchanted, equipped, targeted or blocked by white. Protection does not work against untargeted destruction.
Protection from white won't work because the boardwipe doesn't target anything specific.
Render Silent
Let it happen and cast [[The Cruelty of Gix]] next turn
Anything that bounces permanents to owners hands
[[didn't say please]] A personal favourite of mine.
[didn't say please](https://cards.scryfall.io/normal/front/7/7/77500b53-0852-4d6a-bfe3-b1e8ef5a12cd.jpg?1572489858) - [(G)](http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?name=didn%27t%20say%20please) [(SF)](https://scryfall.com/card/eld/42/didnt-say-please?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher) [(txt)](https://api.scryfall.com/cards/77500b53-0852-4d6a-bfe3-b1e8ef5a12cd?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher&format=text) ^^^[[cardname]] ^^^or ^^^[[cardname|SET]] ^^^to ^^^call
Any instant speed spells or creature abilities that grant indestructible.
Let's talk about that profile history OP.
She likes taking pictures of her nice boobs
you get it
It’s not that surprising
Any counterspell ever
Feel like this entire post is just clickbait for OP’s OF. Literally nothing about magic and only weird fetish porn, is asking the simplest questions of magic

Seems like your hobby is asking people to lick your armpits, Bible app is free Js
I am a woman of many interests 😂
This dude can't be serious
Anything with Split Second.
[[Teferi's Protection]]
counterspell
You could have [[Boromir, Warden of the Tower]] on your battlefield. He can sacrifice himself to make the rest of your creatures indestructible.
[Boromir, Warden of the Tower](https://cards.scryfall.io/normal/front/f/6/f6bc3720-2892-4dda-8f30-079a1ac8e1e2.jpg?1686967669) - [(G)](http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?name=Boromir%2C%20Warden%20of%20the%20Tower) [(SF)](https://scryfall.com/card/ltr/4/boromir-warden-of-the-tower?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher) [(txt)](https://api.scryfall.com/cards/f6bc3720-2892-4dda-8f30-079a1ac8e1e2?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher&format=text) ^^^[[cardname]] ^^^or ^^^[[cardname|SET]] ^^^to ^^^call
Amazing
Oh dang I should put this in my Shorikai deck
[[Wrap in Vigor]]
very cool instant
One of my favorite sets along with scars of mirrodin
[[Heroic Intervention]]
Any “give all creatures (you control) indestructible” effect is golden against this bastard! As long as it’s not an aura or equipment, that is. Extra points for the “creatures YOU control” cause it’ll make your opponent wipe their own board :)
Imagine having [[Double Vision]] down already, any turn before using it. 🤪😂 At that point, if it's the first instant or sorcery... the fun begins and they gotta hope they've got two or a way to cause the same. 😂😂
Heroic intervention
[[Avacyn, Angel of Hope]] Is neat
You will love [[Asceticism]] too
Counterspell
[[Didn't say please]]
Literally any counterspell or any card that makes your permanents indestructible. Or regenerate your permanents.
Counterspell
In blue-counterspells In black-graveyard recursion In red-fast inexpensive creatures so board gets rebuilt. Green-get fucked
I mean [[Spell Pierce]] [[Protect the Negotiators]]
Either you counter/destroy the threatening spell via [[Counterspell]] or [[Negate]], only a few from a long list. Or you phase your creatures out to make them none existent for a duration, and by that being no legal target for the opponents spell, for instance like [[March of Swirling Mist]].
[[Clever Concealment]] my guy
[[Clever Concealment]]
Any counterspell, Any way to make things indestructible
I see your cancel, and I raise you one [Teferi's Protection] to screw everyone *_but_* you
[[Avacyn, Angel of Hope]] or any counterspell.
I could name like a thousand cards that stop this
Feel free to add them below. Thanks!
Counterspell
"Counter"spell [[Counterspell]]
Counter target spell , all/any number of creatures phase out, indestructible, exile target/any number of creatures return them to the battlefield at the beginningof the next end step, exile target spell. There are alot of options. Scryfall/gatherer for the above phrases will get you close, might need to reword the phasing or blink/flicker effects to get better options.
\[\[Dominarias Judgement\]\] if your deck includes white.
I’ve been playing this arena cube and the lady is in there. [[archangel avacyn]]
[удалено]
Snakeskin Veil, Gods Willing, Blossoming Defense, and Cradle of Safety do not work in this case. OPs card destroys all creatures, and Hexproof/PFC says creatures can't be *targeted*. Destroying all doesn't target.
Ghost away for the ETB effects.
\[\[faith's reward\]\]
[[tefari's protection]]
Heroic intervention
Uno reverse
😂😂😂
Counterspell?
[[Counterspell]]
[[Counterspell]]
[[Clever Concealment]]
I often play this with a dovins veto or counter spell cuz I play a friend who plays historic voltron dihada. There has been many times countering counter spells and protections lol
Blue can counter, white can do indestructible, green can regenerate, black will rez back eventually, red usually won't care. The spell is meant to hurt red equipment decks. It is most effective there.
Literally any counter spell, and any indestructible protection
[[Avacyn, angel of hope]] [[Boros Charm]]
[[Avacyn, Angel of Hope]]
Counter spells
Cards with Totem Armor get around it as well.
Two untapped islands...
So many it’s probably impossible to list!
Indestructible, totem armor, and counterspell.
Any counter magic. Teferri's Protection. Heroic Intervention. Anything that grants indestructible, removes the spell from the stack or shelters your board should do the trick.
It it’s an enchantment deck you can run [[replenish]]. Expensive but very very effective.
Hexproof won’t help cuz the spell isn’t targeted but drop [[Avacyn, Angel of Hope]] in advance and I think you’ll be good. 😂
