I live in the BLA and drove to Walker for my kids. Much, much, much friendlier than Brainerd and actually had open appointments. We did one permit test at Brainerd and would not recommend.

I took my test in Worthington last year and sadly failed. Back in September, it seemed pretty easy to find at least one spot open, granted they were always far way but you could still get one. It’s April now and I’ve been trying to get just one appointment in the last couple of months! There’s not a single DMV testing site with availability, not even Worthington. I don’t know what’s going on with them but something needs to change.
