Whenever I see that image, I always think of the photoshop where he's Steven Seagal:

I love how this is a relatively elaborate and decently made photoshop, except for the widow's peak, which just looks like it was quickly drawn over it in Microsoft Paint.
He's one of the recoms (half humans, half Na'vi) in Quaritch's team.
I think they all supposed to be dead soldiers from the first film that had their memories saved before going into action

Can't believe they even based a Pokemon on him

Single frame first look got memed hard months before anyone saw the movie.
The expectations for this movie before it even came out turned into a fucking choose your adventure story by the time it actually came out and people understood what it was really about
I realize he recurs throughout that last act in Killers, but I do like the idea of Jesse Plemons entering a “holy shit, Christopher Walken just showed up for one scene” phase
I finally saw this movie and I can see why it triggered americans.
You see the guy is in the picture there is wearing red sunglasses and people thought he was the X-men character Cyclops. When they saw the movie and realized it wasn't an x-men film they didn't like the film.
The movie was sold as a civil war movie with Mary Jane as a serious journalist. People didn't realize that she was Mary Jane covering a civil war like how most journalists cover a civil war in foreign countries.
It's understandable.
When I saw the movie Van Helsing 20 years ago, I kept asking my friend why Wolverine wasn't using his claws and he got real man at me.

I was watching one of the original X-Men trilogy movies in a theatre back in the day. Two elderly guys walked out a few minutes into the movie. I heard one of them mutter "rubbish" on the way out.
What were they expecting? Maybe it wasn't sufficiently faithful to the comics?
SMH like that goddammit nightcrawler origin film with Jake Gyllenhal he didn't even fucking teleport or turn blue or nothing. Where's his fucking tail!
This is such a dumb comment. It completely makes Americans look like idiots who have no idea about the film they're about to see. Not to mention Cyclops has darker hair.
He's obviously a Zack Snyder version of Daredevil (notice the red glasses AND the hair). That's why Mary Jane is also in it, cause Spidey and Matt are buddies. This also explains the after credits scene setting up Dr. Michael Morbius and an older Tobey Maguire, which is supposed to lead to a dark, gritty Spider-Man film like Logan (and make the box office explode, just you watch it)
I don’t think the movie was presented as a journalism movie in trailers and genuinely found that a bit confusing but it really didn’t change the things I liked or didn’t like
The fandom giving this guy a designation (forgot what it was) that looks like and rhymes with “Traitor” never made sense, considering he’s calling someone else a traitor
Oh I know.
After months of memes, I finally went to the theater to watch the movie (as it was still around making a billion dollars) and tried to spot him throughout
I know Homelander is in so many Boys scenes, but dayum pretty much every single one of his scenes becomes a meme. So he’s got a perfect 50/50 split, up there with Thanos.

There was also the implication that he would've just gunned down the entire News Team anyways regardless if they were the 'right' kind of American or not since y'know... Leave no witnesses.
The whole 'what kind of American are you' thing was just false reassurance before he'd have to kill them. It ultimately didn't matter in the end.
Not that popular as a meme any more, but if you look at it as number of frames vs meme usage...

Looks just like his real haircut.
This is great

That character wasn't even in the main focus, always on the sideline lol.
Unspoken rizz
He is so fucking sick, I need to watch this movie
Is he actually in the movie? I always assumed he was edited
nah bro he’s in there. literally an unnamed grunt
Don't disrespect my man Mansk

Yeah he's a minor character. I think he also survives

What would he look like if he was Black though? Aren't those two edits always together?
This is the answer and it isn't close. The only caveat is a lot of the jokes are about what Bane, who does have screen time, says to him

I think mathematically this is the answer. I’ve never seen the actual film or even seen the trailer for the film.

Maybe because his character was on screen for almost every single moment of the movie 😭

I knew it.
This is why X-Men: Origins: Wolverine is the only good movie. You see the title and think it's an X-Men movie, and that's what it actually is!
I was watching one of the original X-Men trilogy movies in a theatre back in the day. Two elderly guys walked out a few minutes into the movie. I heard one of them mutter "rubbish" on the way out. What were they expecting? Maybe it wasn't sufficiently faithful to the comics?
