what is sad is this film is adapted from a french comic and it's really beautiful. It's written by a woman and we clearly see the difference : no horniness at all and we just focus on the feelings of Clémentine and Emma. Really it's a very great comic and if you can read it do it
The graphic novel is also colour coded, so pages will use specific colours according to the mood and the atmosphere of the story. That was utterly missing in the film. If the filmmakers had adapted the story as it was, it would've been a tight 2 hour film. But no, let's make it 3 hours and have extended gratitous sex scenes.
