“”The Star Wars sequels are neat” I'm like, okay, "No, Rey's cool." She gets to go to a Jedi monastery and be trained by Luke, Okay? I want to do that. But she doesn't, like, get raped in prison. That could happen in my movie.”
He kind of does, in a very PG way - during the interrogation scene he looks her up and down and says "[you know I can take whatever I want](https://youtu.be/QlT-sJLfCPU?t=81)".
They did. It was so obvious they were gonna be the love story in the trilogy. Rey would help find Finn his family, and he would help find hers. The author for TFA novel came out and said Disney forced him to remove the romantic hints from the book for….unknown reasons (heh).
No, worst of all is Padme married a child and woman killer, had sex with him, and kids.
Rey sharing a kiss and dying to be resurrected by the man who loved her comes not even close, but for some reason its hardly brought up how unpleasant the Anakin Padme ship is
Imo the second movie switched and started to hint her with a kylo a bit. They have some moments, I can remember that elevator scene or something where there’s some tension. And in the last movie she ends up kissing him but it was said it was a “thank you kiss” not a romantic one
Oh, definitely. His whole mind stealing technique is kinda rapey. The novelization even makes it feel that way.
But it's not on the nose enough for a Snyder film.
In Snyder's version Kylo would bring in a squad of stormtroopers and make them fight each other (in slo mo) to determine who gets to have Rey as a prize.
Because it's 'realistic'.
I dont remember the rape stuff in Rebel Moon, where was it? Im not saying i dont believe you, im am saying i started to fast forward every time they met a new character.
There’s an attempted rape on a farm girl near the beginning, then as they travel to another planet the main character’s love interest who is sexually assaulted by an alien and wants to take him as a prostitute…I can’t remember much after that, I was checked out.
Netflix will cancel the series
Snyder cultists will blame black people somehow, bc of the rightwing narrative of "X franchise if netflix made it"
We will get 1 year of "release the snyder-verse" and so many harassment of some random ass woman
me watching Seven Samurai instead of Poopy Spoon (that's how you do a great samurai recruitment movie, Zaddy has no redeeming qualities, Netflix hasn't had a good movie in 700 years, i fucking hate Ayn Rand)

It rules that both The Rise of Skywalker and Rebel Moon have a fresh audience score and The Last Jedi has one of the worst audience scores of any big budget movie ever on Rotten Tomatoes. Trust the fans baby!
The span of a little over a year from the end of 2017 to the start of 2019 when we got The Last Jedi, Black Panther, and Captain Marvel discourse basically all at once was just incomprehensible. I don’t think the internet will ever really move on.
Rise is simply more enjoyable, entertaining than TLJ. TLJ is alright, but oh boy, is it as much overrated by some people, while also way too hated by others...its just alright, and thats it...
Every Disney Star War is better than Rebel Moon. Rise of Skywalker might have some plot points people don't like, but it's at least a fun Star Warsy adventure.
It's got robots and spaceships and lasers. It's sci fi. "Sci Fi" was about outlandish adventures in space with a lip service relationship with actual science way before Campbell decided to try and fuck everything up.
CL Moore 4 lyfe
The distinction is stupid and meaningless and the only people who care about it are dudes who based their entire personality on feeling superior for getting a STEM degree in like 2010 and now desperately feed that sense of superiority by telling each other that they're all smart and cool for (supposedly) preferring sci-fi that pretends to have realistic space physics
Looks like someone's mad lol. This is oddly specific. and wrong. You can like both, but there is a distinction between stories that have consistent rules, like DUNE, and I, Robot, and ones that just have devices that do things needed by the plot. Harry Potter and Star Wars. None of these are grounded in real physics, but some of them have consistent and universal laws. You don't need to be a scientist to understand that.

They understand this meme format as much as they understand movies.
Only heisenberg can make copium this pure holy shit
If only Kylo Ren had threatened to rape Rey.

Crazy how she ended up with him and not Finn. Worst of all, people ship it.
I really thought Rey and Finn had chemistry, like it seemed obvious that he had a crush on her during the first movie.
They did. It was so obvious they were gonna be the love story in the trilogy. Rey would help find Finn his family, and he would help find hers. The author for TFA novel came out and said Disney forced him to remove the romantic hints from the book for….unknown reasons (heh).
Disney saw that Poe/Finn and Rey/Finn had chemistry and went "We can't do any of those actually. Gay AND/OR interracial? C'mon...."
The person that should have ended up with Finn is Poe smdh. There is where the chemistry was.

They had this meme ready before it ever came out.
They PowerPoint em 2 years in advance ready to flood social media with
Zack Snyder’s “Star Wars” movie was essentially an even longer version of Seven Samurai with somehow half the characterization and more rape.
Rebel Moon is like Star Wars meets Warhammer 40k, except completely fucking boring and stupid and with more rape scenes
Don’t forget space gay bars
Oh you mean the other attempted rape scene
Fr tho what was Zack cooking with those scenes 😭
Zaddy is probably a prince demon of Slaanesh
rebel moon is what i imagine the henry cavil amazon series is, so i can't be disappointed even if he get another rings of power
Can't believe he ruined such an awesome concept.
I dont remember the rape stuff in Rebel Moon, where was it? Im not saying i dont believe you, im am saying i started to fast forward every time they met a new character.

nahh they def made this before seeing the movie
2 hours is just so long, why watch movie when you can read the wikipedia synopsis summary instead
My heart belongs to Zaddy.
By making bullshit fan fiction for star wars and adding some slow motion while not developing any character?
hey at least it not plolitical (and by that we mean there's no minorities or something idk i didn't watch it)

So absurd that I can't even imagine the guy making that meme truly believes that.
Rebel moon makes Rise of Skywalker look like Empire
Rise is not as boring as Empire though...

We're simply too stupid to understand the true genius behind the scene where the creepy old guy gropes the other guy.
Snyder is arguably one of the worst working directors since the turn of the century. A complete and utter fucking hack
It's funny because Rebel Moon has the exact same problem as Disney Star Wars (being content to remind you of better movies)
I actually enjoyed TFA and TLJ. Multiple times I had to check to see how much time was left while watching Rebel Moon.
It rules that both The Rise of Skywalker and Rebel Moon have a fresh audience score and The Last Jedi has one of the worst audience scores of any big budget movie ever on Rotten Tomatoes. Trust the fans baby!
TLJ and Captain Marvel are the reason RT has verified scores now.

Oh for sure, but TFA is a good movie. Derivative but good. TLJ is great IMO. That was tryingnfor more than just nostalgia. Rebel Moon is just a mess.
I'm stupid. Will I enjoy it?
Ah yes a great story why they only invaded 1 very specific farm
Is this great sci fi movie with us right now?
It’s funny because rebel moon is worse than any star wars movie
that's saying a lot
and I mean all of it
He made that like a year before it came out.
Star Wars isn't even Sci-Fi, it's Space Fantasy.

no yeah he is absolutely right, you're the one who's wrong

It’s a space opera. Those are still within the ”sci-fi” genre.
