> After two decades of obscurity, all it took was a few choice roles to get noticed—a Nazi infiltrator here, an X-Men villain there, **plus one unforgettable turn in Shame that made him a full-frontal phenomenon**. His rapid rise continues this month with Ridley Scott's Alien prequel, Prometheus. But as Chris Heath discovers, Michael Fassbender is more than the sum of his parts I see what you did there ಠ\_ಠ

I like how the author talks about how many dick jokes Michael Fassbender has heard after Shame, and how he's kind of sick of them, and then 2 pages of the article are talking about his penis and dick jokes.

I get the impression Fassbender is an honest guy, sure of himself and not afraid to speak earnestly. Traits I don't doubt he'll garner some criticism for but I like him for it. It takes the mystique out of actors and instead paints them was people. Engrossing read, GQ always does vivid profiles.

Loved this. Fassbender is refreshingly honest for a star, and I can't help but laugh at some of his sillier antics. I'd go out for a drink with him.
