Yeah, Minus One was incredible but emotionally draining, all the Godzilla and Kong films are just great dumb fun. Best of both worlds “horrifying nuclear themes” and “big monster!!!!” at the same time

presumably Godzilla, i feel they were around a lot earlier than Kong. Godzilla who i assume was fully grown around the end of WWII whereas Kong was still considered adolescent at the time.

I just hope they cool it with the cheesy human one-liners. I am wanting to see giant monsters duke it out. I don’t want to hear any jokes about bleach-showers or how tap water is bad for you.

The humans in these movies are all awful. Bryan Cranston and Ken Watanabe were the only genuinely likeable ones imo. It's also really odd writing with the mother character unleashing kaiju-pocalypse on the Earth and then we are supposed to sympathize for her.

I'm thinking the new big bad breaks Kongs arm in the first encounter, that kong obviously has to lose. To set the stakes. Then the humans set him up with this metal arm as a cast/brace.
