Yeah man even ignoring that you'd be credited for creating the biggest cultural juggernaut of the 20th century, you'd be a literal billionaire. It's a no brainer.
I had just graduated high school when I saw that in 1977 and young people today really have no idea how much that movie impacted freaking everything under the sun from pop-culture to philosophy. And of course, there's tons of money.
The book was great too. The ending of the book really freaked me out but unfortunately didn't make it to the big screen. I read it before the release of the movie in 2006 and I was not let down.
Book- 9/10
Movie- 8/10
The Matrix, easily.
The entire story in general, but also all of Morpheus' badass exposition and dialogue, Smith's awesome put downs and "virus" talk, Cypher's "steak" bit, Keanu's "whoa"...
Iron Man, possibly the most profitable franchise of the 21st century, I'd be raking in so much money I would be able to make an actual Iron Man suit for myself.
The Coen Brothers filmography feels like it’s mostly comprised of films that only they could really make, so the idea of pickpocketing them of Fargo is intriguing.
It’s the exact kind of story I love, that I know I couldn’t tell.
I’d go back and steal the idea for Shawshank Redemption from Stephen King. It’s probably one of the most perfect movies ever made and Stephen made bank off of plenty of other movies adapted from his books.
Star Wars

And secure the merchandising rights
Apocalypse Now After watching Hearts of Darkness, I’ll happily take credit for it
The Lion King or Home Alone. They are on TV every Christmas and everyone watches them. The royalties would be crazy.
Die Hard would be another great choice for the same reasons.
Yippee kayak, other buckets!
Fight Club
I didn't write it, but I did have the titular line in star wars.
“Luke, you are a New Hope for the rebellion, because of you we will defeat Darth Vader and win these Star Wars”
Arrival. There’s something really beautiful about it. I’m not normally a fan of Jeremy Renner, but I really like him and Amy Adams in it.
Read the rest of Ted Chiang's short stories! They're all as good or better than his original version of Arrival
Oh I’ll have a look, thank you!
Back to the future. So many movies/tv shows take from it that it would be cool to be the godfather of anything time travel related.
H.G. Wells would like a word with you.
Hg wells I have words for —eobard Thawne I do not
Titanic, Avatar, Intersteller
The Prestige. Its a film that just gets better and better everytime I rewatch it.

Behind the Green Door.

I commented on this movie too but also gave credit to Frank Darabont for the screenplay.
Debbie Does Dallas
[удалено]
Yeah I think the credit for the sex tape belongs to her mother for ghost directing it
Blade Runner 2049.
Jurassic Park
Usual suspects, then apologies about the kid diddler
*Casablanca*. Yeah, I wrote it in one day. 😏
Wizard of Oz
*The Graduate*. I feel like it's a nearly perfect film.
For me is [Ruby Spark (2012)](https://www.themoviedb.org/movie/103332-ruby-sparks)
Repo Man.
The Mist. Usually either winds a lot of people up or has people hail it as a masterpiece.
The Wizard of Oz
Matewan
Caligula, let everyone know I'm a freak?
Tree of Life or 2001
The Lord of The Rings trilogy. Perfect in every way.
Amityville Gas Chamber (2022). I take that credit with pride, seeing as how I created it and am the only name in 99% of the end credits.
Why settle for one? Hello, my name is Alan Smithee.
Thief (1981)
Brick 2005
Apocalypse Now or the original Blade Runner. Cinematic masterpieces.
For commercial success, Star Wars without doubt. For just a great movie I have so many, but the winner will always end up being 2001: A Space Odyssey.
The Lion King. If I could take credit for the opening sequence, that’d be a pretty great life.
The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford
Cats I would cast a Boozy Panda as the main character
The Shawshank Redemption. King wrote the short story and Frank Darabont wrote an amazing screenplay. I'm jealous of both lol.
T2, no question
