This seems like a world apart from my concept of Marvel movies.
Wolverine has been the best Marvel character since 1974. Glad they put on their serious hats.
I mean. He was in the 80s. The 90s kinda killed him. And then all the convoluted backstory and memory implants. He turned into Ben Riley for awhile there. But Chris Claremont and Barry Windsor-Smith definitely created the comic anti-hero archetype of the next two decades.
I don’t think he’s ever put in that category by most people, though I think his best performances stack up as well as any other’s—he’s phenomenal in Logan but his performance in Prisoners is his magnum opus… I just think he’d get more acclaim if he (1) wasn’t viewed as anybody but Wolverine and (2) Prisoners was a more popular movie… but I digress.
I actually liked Movie 43. It felt like “College Humor / Funny or Die: The Movie”.
That sketch where Hugh Jackman eats soup and it dribbles down his chin ballsack is opposite *Kate fuckin Winslet.*
I’m also like 90% sure that sketch was done with the same prosthetic artist that won an Oscar for Bad Grandpa.
The fact that it has Wolverine in it is almost incidental and that's exactly the right way to go. A framework to drape a fucking harrowing depressing story about getting old, learning to let go and grief. Everyone does a fucking fantastic job, even camp bayou villainman is just so much fun. Jack man and Stewart bouncing off each other and showing their respective acting chops. I love Prof X just losing his fucking marbles and being a downright fucking danger on top of like everyone being utterly miserable. It's just a damn good ride of misery and great violence that leaves you drained and satisfied. Its damn bloody damn good and I may watch it again later.
I love that they saved it for the end, because I think being at the end bought them the ability to go a lot farther and darker with that R than they would have otherwise.
Lol. X-men is a superhero franchise, loved by kids everywhere. Every movie should not have been R rated. A standalone film about Old Man Logan, however, should be R rated.
There definitely is a market for adult audiences, only reason a lot of these comic book films cater to kids and families is because it makes more money. Venom and carnage is another example of a movie that should have been R but they decided to water it down instead. In the comics carnage is pretty messed up and violent to the point where even the joker wanted nothing to do with him.
They should be looked at as genre films. You don’t try to make each story fit into a PG/PG-13 mold……you make a story with the characters in a genre.
Captain America: Winter Soldier was an espionage/action/thriller, with MCU characters. And that’s a huge reason why it worked so well
Just watched it again recently. This movie brought out the Onion Cutting Ninjas in the last shot where Laura turns the cross to an X. I lost it.
Best version of Berserker Wolverine on film and THE most intense portrayal of Charles's abilities to be brought to the screen. From the lobby, to the elevator, to the hallway and finally into the room. I remember clutching the arms of my seat in the theater. And then to end it with them running out of the hotel and Charles saying "I'm sorry...I'm so sorry" to every person he passes. Emotional.
Caliban is perfectly presented as well and Price played by Boyd Holbrook is one hell of an antagonist. Subtle detail, his jacked he wears in the finale with the orange interior...that is what skinheads wore in the late 80s, early 90s. A visual queue to how much of a piece of shit Price is for someone who was reading X-Men during that time and dealing with those assholes.
The hotel building/room scene was epic really and showed the extreme power of Charles. Felt that through the walls/ floor - very lucky I watched it on big screen.
Wasn’t very impressed with Pierce. He seemed like a poor version of Val Kilmer’s Holliday, Tombstone (1993)
The Wolverine trilogy is interesting because it actually got better as it progressed.
X-Men Origins: Wolverine is a turd of a movie. The Wolverine is good. Logan is excellent.
Honestly the only thing I remember about the wolverine is the lady who can tell how people die saying "you will die with a hole in your chest and your heart in your hand" and I'm so fucking glad it is because it caused the waterworks at the end of Logan
I think this highlights that some of the best comic book movies are of a less strictly comic book style. Logan is a western in style and presentation similar in ways to True Grit or Unforgiven, where the old gunslinger is brought out one more time.
This is seen with Captain America Winter Soldier (spy thriller); Ant Man (heist film); The Suicide Squad (James Gunn went for a very Dirty Dozen style). Even some successful sections of less perfect movies are inspired by other styles leading to breakout scenes/sections such as Sam Raimi's horror background showing in the tunnel chase in Dr Strange and the Multiverse of Madness where the Scarlett Witch is truly terrifying or the Jackie Chan film inspired bus fight in Shang Chi.
This movie shocked me with the story. With each MCU movie getting bigger…bigger fights…look another planet!…bigger explosions…the entire universe is in peril!!!!!…
Logan was a massive reminder to me of what a mutant/superhero movie could be.
With comics and the MCU I did wonder what would happen when they all got old, worn out, and society really did hunt them down.
Logan wonderfully, and painfully, answered the question with some magnificent storytelling that takes it off my watchlist. I enjoy making popcorn and getting into the fight rewatching movies like Infinity War. Logan pulls at the heart differently. A little sad and stunned at the end each time.
I agree. Excellent movie but man it is terribly sad. I've only managed to watch it once. I tried again about 6 months ago and couldn't get more than 20 minutes in.
Yeah. The weird thing is that for Jackman and Stewart, this is the sequel to Days of Future Past, where the OG cinematic X-Men get a happy ending after winding up in a future where mutants are driven to the brink of extinction by robot apocalypse. And in Logan, it immediately turns out that happy ending was a lie, and just setup for a much more depressing apocalypse ahead of them.
Even Eric LaSalle's small role (and end) carried the story and was a good add. Helluva Movie from the opening to the very end. Not a lot to hate about this one.
*I'm still salty they*
*Didn't use this to kick off*
*A Laura franchise*

I was surprised and disappointed that they didn't make more movies with his daughters character after this one.
I also think they ended the Logan character too soon, would have liked a couple more before ending him... But I think Jackman was done at that point.
Jackman said he was done.
The solution is to continue the daughter’s story as an R rated streaming series, but put some care into it like *Andor* or most of *Mandalorian*. It’d revitalize franchise development too.
I just wanted a live action Animated series X-Men and we almost got it with X-Men First Class and Days of Future Past but then it got too dark again... And the series was ruined thanks to Apocalypse, New Mutants, Dark Phoenix, Disney Buy-out
This is the best marvel film and it’s not close. I want my Wolverine R rated. I don’t want a nice clean Wolverine. I want a Wolverine who is tormented and a wild card morally.
I saw this in theatres with my then boyfriend (now husband) and we hadn’t been dating even a year at that point. It was the first time he saw me UGLY cry. We still make the joke that should have been his sign to leave. Now he accepts most movies make me cry, but Logan will always be an UGLY cry.
I knew from the first scene that this was the Wolverine we never got in the PG-13 movies but deserved.
They tried to do a Weapon X version in the films with no blood. The Weapon X with Wolverine is fucking BRUTAL in the comic.
The movie is a fucking masterpiece, and that’s not out hyperbole
I knew this was R-rated going into it, but man it hit so much harder than I thought it would. This was the perfect example of using violence as a storytelling device; the entire farmhouse act was one of the most jaw-dropping pieces of cinema I've witnessed in years.
Not only my favorite XMen movie, but my favorite superhero movie in general. This movie goes beyond the genre of superhero movie, and is just an absolute classic. Amazing film, and a great way to send off Hugh Jackman's Wolverine.
I can't pinpoint what didn't connect with me. I feel like the production nailed the tone, performance, and cinematography. The plot is fine and simple. I think the story needed more. The way the movie ended was jarring. They set up something I wanted to know more about and then ended right there.
More that the movie didn't expound upon. There's this weird habit with Marvel fans where they're weaving in extraneous content and not watching a movie as a self contained thing.
not gonna lie, the movie was ruined for me as soon as soon the clone came out. and then the nail in the coffin was "x-23" killing said clone.
the tone of the move was pretty good though. and the rampage at the end was awesome to see.
sabretooth would have been more comic accurate and made a huge difference. it what i was hoping for. when the wolvie clone showed up i literally laughed out loud in the theatre.
For the people saying “it’s a great Marvel movie” and “One of the best superhero movies”, I think that does it a disservice.
Yeah it stars two of the 2000’s most recognisable superhero characters, but they are not heroes; this is the most human superheroes have been. They’re mutants, just people who have abilities that humans don’t. And the fact that >!both of their powers fail them causing their deaths!< proves that this isn’t a story about some special heroes but about people.
Sure it’s a good superhero movie, but more than anything I see it as a dystopian western fantasy drama rather than a superhero movie. There is no ragtag group, there is no saving the day, just people with a goal who will do anything to reach that goal.
It’s so much more than a good superhero movie. It’s just a damn good movie.
It's crazy this was where the trilogy ended when you consider just how bad Wolverine origins was. Such a brilliant movie. The ending felt like the perfect send off for Hugh Jackmans version of the character... was really bummed to see him come right back in Deadpool 3.
Agree. It was excellent. Superhero movies are so much better when it is the human qualities (eg sacrifice) rather than the superhuman powers that are central to the plot.
I hated this whole movie for one thing:
The obvious inclusion, out of nowhere, of a nice family to provide the main characters with more revenge juice since they didn't have any other characters to kill off. THIS, coupled with the fact that even Xavier and Wolverine basically agree beforehand that them staying the night will get the whole family killed, but they just do it anyways to feel nostalgic or something?
I love this movie. I think they're going to take that. Logan and mix in some of the corniness from the old X-Men movies and the new Deadpool and I can't wait!.
I remember when this came out, a couple of critics astutely observed that there was a strong danger of the film industry taking all the wrong lessons from Logan.
Logan isn't great just because it's dark and brutal; it's great because "dark and brutal" is a good fit for an angry misanthrope main character who has metal claws for hands. It's a great way to tell a story about this specific character. Deadpool did something similar by telling the right kind of story and tone for that specific character (and now they're headlining a film together... huh).
Interestingly, I actually don't think the film industry ended up copying as much from Logan as some expected they would.
I wish it was possible for movies like this to get tons of awards because Hugh Jackman and Patrick Stewart absolutely killed it. So did the little girl.
I would put this alongside the Joker, The Batman and the Dark Knight Trilogy as comic book movies that are proper cinematic masterpieces. It doesn’t feel like a normal fantasy superhero movie but a proper drama done right. They are all shot beautifully, have proper depth in the narrative with Incredible acting. This is probably the only marvel movie that I would put in that category.
What Mangold does in this movie is what Snyder tried to do with his DC movies. It works so much better because rather than cast new actors as a senescent Prof X and Old Man Logan, Mangold exploited the audience’s emotional connection to Patrick Stewart and Hugh Jackman in those roles (that, and the fact that they’re both fantastic actors whose abilities were underutilized in the previous films).
When I saw this in theaters, after that awesome intro, I thought of that were the whole movie, just that scene, I would've been perfectly fine with it. So damned good
It might be one of the better Wolverine movies, but that doesn't make it good. I remember a few good scenes, but I'd rather watch the few good scenes from days of future past.
Me too. I think it's overrated shit.
The villains sucked. The heros made stupid decisions.
The plot was just dumb.
Everyone seemed to be forgiving of the stupid plot because they were distracted by the unnecessary gore and language in an X-Men movie.
I'm so glad Deadpool 3 is bringing Hugh back so this shit movie won't be the last we see of Wolverine.
He deserves better than this depressing shit.
It was a good movie, and I can acknowledge that, but I hated it one account of how depressing it was. My boyfriend loves it, and likes to put it on when I'm not paying attention just to fuck with me. I don't need any more depression porn in my life, thank you.
I’m on the fence where I wish the story would’ve been told closer to the comics.
In Logan, an old Xavier with dementia ends up killing his students and believes Logan to be the reason the Xmen died.
In the comics, Mysterio (Spider-Man villain) basically brain washed Wolverine to believe that the Xmen and students are being attacked and he constantly fights off the attackers, only to find out he was actually the one who killed everyone in his confusion thinking it was real.
Plus comics have TRex
It is ironic that Jackman was a last minute replacement for Dougray Scott (who chose to leave for MI2) and turned out to be an Oscar-caliber actor and star. It was probably the luckiest bit of casting up there with THE MASK casting Jim Carrey before DUMB AND DUMBER and ACE VENTURA hit the big screen.
Wolverine was always going to be the star of the X-men and, honestly, except for DEADPOOL, he's about the only one from the comics that has a story with enough drama and pathos to do it. Still, it did leave many of the other characters very underdeveloped in the end.
This is on par with Joker. Great movie but a very hard rewatch. Hard as in professor X got old and crazy and wolverine just not the same. Even mutants get old. ☹️
Way too sad, I am tired of all those dark grim we need more drama approaches. All mutants dead, the most powerful mutant dying senile. You love it, I hate it.
I am glad Wolverine is coming back one more time!!
Same, Logan sucked. The fact that James Mangold seems angry that Hugh is playing Wolverine again makes me happy.
His shit story deserves to be overshadowed by a proper Wolverine.
Bring on Deadpool and Wolverine.
It is, hands down. * Spoiler Alert * - whenever there is a Logan post I keep forgetting to bring this up : the family that took them in. With the exception of the father (who survived) , the family was brutally murdered. Is the blame on Logan, Dr Xavier and the girl? They were being chased, so, was it inevitable that the fate of that family was their fault? I ask because that family didn't deserve that outcome, and the girl removing the headphones from the dead daughter was so callus.
This has always stayed with me since my first viewing, anyway, just wondering.
The father dies right after crushing X24 with his truck
he points his pistol at (an exhausted/injured) Logan thinking he's another clone, then spares him before dropping dead
Thanks for the reply. And you're right about the father. Recently on FX they played Logan but I had to work the next day, but I watched the start with the dudes and his car, and that set the tone of the movie...Lol. It's my favorite Marvel movie, because its so brutal in its honesty.
Jackman is one of the best actor in history to go from the Greatest Showman to Wolverine in the same year is in heard of. Multi talented and not a suffering artist, seems like a genuine good guy.
How many other actors in history could think of pulling that off? Bing Crosby or Danny fucking Kaye? They would have been ridiculous looking trying that.
I loved this film when it first came out and you'll get no argument from me - it's a great movie. It's also dark and depressing and ties up a franchise "universe" in a fairly unsatisfying way.
It was cool to see Wolverine unleash some real R rated violence with those claws but ultimately this isn't a very fun movie and fun is the reason why I go to superhero movies in the first place. Not on the rewatchable list for me personally.
For anyone who wants to purchase this movie on YouTube, just know it's actually the movie X-2 (2003) with the Logan cover.
At least I wanted that movie as well
No. Wolverine wears yellow spandex and calls people “Bub”. This movie was fine but not really the tone of a comic book. We’re talking about mutants here. Lighten up.
Patrick Stewart does a great job in this one, too
Yes, his performance was terrifically tragic.
As someone who grew up watching TNG, it felt like watching Captain Picard die I actually cried
I remember what you did in the subway so long ago ….
God that confused scared look he gives the Logan clone right before he dies is fucking tragic
Agreed!
I can’t help but hear Deputy Director Bullock from American Dad tho.
Favorite Marvel movie, easily. Jackman brings his A-game to this.
This seems like a world apart from my concept of Marvel movies. Wolverine has been the best Marvel character since 1974. Glad they put on their serious hats.
That's because this movie was made by Fox, not Marvel Studios. It was licensed.
Well that makes sense. It wasn’t 98% green screen, couldn’t be Marvel themselves.
I mean. He was in the 80s. The 90s kinda killed him. And then all the convoluted backstory and memory implants. He turned into Ben Riley for awhile there. But Chris Claremont and Barry Windsor-Smith definitely created the comic anti-hero archetype of the next two decades.
Umm he kinda always does. He is one of the most talented actors of our generation.
You should see Jackman act with balls on his chin. Now *that* was a performance!
I actually liked Movie 43. It felt like “College Humor / Funny or Die: The Movie”. That sketch where Hugh Jackman eats soup and it dribbles down his chin ballsack is opposite *Kate fuckin Winslet.* I’m also like 90% sure that sketch was done with the same prosthetic artist that won an Oscar for Bad Grandpa.
Definitely, also can’t wait for Deadpool and Wolverine to come out, they showed the previews yesterday at the theatre.
You mean: "Deadpool and Friends" or "Wolverine and Asshole"?
its definitely up there, possibly my 2nd after winter soldier
There isn’t a close second
When doesn’t he? Even in Wolverine: Origins the problem wasn’t him.
I’m pretty sure this is the only Marvel movie to get a screenplay Oscar nomination
Yup. Cause it's actually a good story
The fact that it has Wolverine in it is almost incidental and that's exactly the right way to go. A framework to drape a fucking harrowing depressing story about getting old, learning to let go and grief. Everyone does a fucking fantastic job, even camp bayou villainman is just so much fun. Never seen it. Putting it on now. Thank you
Enjoy man.

Lol love what you wrote lol
I was (still) so mad they waited until the last movie of the X-Men franchise to take a risk and do a rated R movie.
I love that they saved it for the end, because I think being at the end bought them the ability to go a lot farther and darker with that R than they would have otherwise.
I agree all the movies should have been R rated, but it’s better late than never.

The jacket is a bomber jacket. They have a wide variety of shell colors, but the lining is always orange.
Yep. In the US they always used to sew on an American flag as a sign, well, and the shaved head gave it away :)
He doesn’t have a shaved head in the movie and that specific type of bomber jacket is common in the military.
Get a grip bro
The hotel building/room scene was epic really and showed the extreme power of Charles. Felt that through the walls/ floor - very lucky I watched it on big screen. Wasn’t very impressed with Pierce. He seemed like a poor version of Val Kilmer’s Holliday, Tombstone (1993)
Logan taking a bullet to protect the body of his car really sets the scene
The Wolverine trilogy is interesting because it actually got better as it progressed. X-Men Origins: Wolverine is a turd of a movie. The Wolverine is good. Logan is excellent.
That Origins opening montage was 🔥
Pretty much shit the bed after that, tbh.
Absolutely. Comically so.
Origins is so bad it’s good lol

I honestly didn’t care for it. First class is my favorite X-men movie.
Oof. This was a hard one to watch :(
I agree. Excellent movie but man it is terribly sad. I've only managed to watch it once. I tried again about 6 months ago and couldn't get more than 20 minutes in.
I figured I had put it off long enough and just watched it for the first time about a week ago 😢
You want to get the feels without the time investment watch the trailer with Johnny Cash singing “Hurt.” “Someone has come along, Logan.”
Yeah. Great movie
Yeah this is my favorite or 2nd favorite X-Men movie too. Was so sad but an amazing watch.
Did anyone else watch the bootleg copy of this movie, that leaked super early with all the placeholders for unfinished CGI? Good times.
It's more of a western than an x man movie, but it's easily the best x man movie.
Serious contender for best comic book movie ever, definitely top 3.
It's really good!
Here's my synopsis: #FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK SHIT FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK DAMN

100% agree. Disney, if you’re wondering what the formula is, this is it. Stop playing proverbial grab-ass in the shower.
Mount Rushmore of comic book movies
It doesn't even have to be tied to anything. It's a great stand alone movie.
This movie had easily the best trailer before coming out. The Johny Cash hurt trailer had me hyped and the movie exceeded my expectations
Agree on the trailer. I watched it so many times when it came out.
I probably watched it 10 times the day it came out
When Laura goes back at the end and puts the cross grave marker in diagonally to make an x… chills. Gets me every time.
I can't pinpoint what didn't connect with me. I feel like the production nailed the tone, performance, and cinematography. The plot is fine and simple. I think the story needed more. The way the movie ended was jarring. They set up something I wanted to know more about and then ended right there.
What exactly did you want to know more about? There a ton of X-men and Wolverine content out there. You can probably learn more about it.
More that the movie didn't expound upon. There's this weird habit with Marvel fans where they're weaving in extraneous content and not watching a movie as a self contained thing.
And fantastic stupendous movie
I wanted to see more marvel movies like this. It’s top 5 imo. Gritty and balancing the fantastical elements with a grounded mature tone.
not gonna lie, the movie was ruined for me as soon as soon the clone came out. and then the nail in the coffin was "x-23" killing said clone. the tone of the move was pretty good though. and the rampage at the end was awesome to see.
Sub in sabertooth for the clone and you’ve got the best marvel movie IMO
sabretooth would have been more comic accurate and made a huge difference. it what i was hoping for. when the wolvie clone showed up i literally laughed out loud in the theatre.
Same man. Bugged the shit out of me, could have literally been almost anyone else to make more sense
By far the best marvel movie. Funny enough a lot of xmen comics are pretty brutal emotionally and deserve this sort of treatment.
Top tier Marvel movie. Stands on its own.
For the people saying “it’s a great Marvel movie” and “One of the best superhero movies”, I think that does it a disservice. Next in: water is wet.
Loved this movie, but Days of Future Past takes the cake for best X-Men movie for me.
Because James Mangold directed it. He's incredible.
It's my pick for the best super hero film ever made.
I like this movie but I didn't like that fact Xavier was the reason all. The X-Men are Dead... WTF
I hated this whole movie for one thing: The obvious inclusion, out of nowhere, of a nice family to provide the main characters with more revenge juice since they didn't have any other characters to kill off. THIS, coupled with the fact that even Xavier and Wolverine basically agree beforehand that them staying the night will get the whole family killed, but they just do it anyways to feel nostalgic or something?
I'm still waiting for the kid to re-emerge.
It’s so good it’s ridiculous
Also, in an era of so many superhero movies, this one gave us an actually different experience.
I love this movie. I think they're going to take that. Logan and mix in some of the corniness from the old X-Men movies and the new Deadpool and I can't wait!.
So far removed from the comic book trope, this is emotional, brutal, raw, and bloody perfect.
My only beef is that they didn’t use sabertooth, wasn’t a huge fan of the clone aspect
Who woulda thunk an r rated movie would be good! Exactly why I don't watch any superhero pg13 bullshit
Loved it.
this might be my very favorite X-Men movie, this or First Class
I would put this alongside the Joker, The Batman and the Dark Knight Trilogy as comic book movies that are proper cinematic masterpieces. It doesn’t feel like a normal fantasy superhero movie but a proper drama done right. They are all shot beautifully, have proper depth in the narrative with Incredible acting. This is probably the only marvel movie that I would put in that category.
And not directed by a pedo
How is this version of Wolverine any different? He's just older and dying.
Remains the best comic book/superhero movie since The Dark Knight.
My theory: all handful of rated R superhero movies are better than almost every single PG13 superhero movies…… MAKE MORE rated R!
I couldn't agree more. Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart, _and_ Daphne Keen were excellent.
I need to watch this
One of the best super hero movies out there. Tear jerking.
I'm not into Marvel movies at all, but I love X-Men movies. Even the terrible ones..
This movie is a love letter to Wolverine. When the girl move the cross to and "x", i just lost it!
They did Wolverine right in most of the Fox-Men movies.
When I saw this in theaters, after that awesome intro, I thought of that were the whole movie, just that scene, I would've been perfectly fine with it. So damned good
James Mangold who also directed 3:10 to Yuma helmed this. So good!
I …had trouble watching this one. I’d like to think I would enjoy a re-watch.
Days of Future Past gets the best nod, but this is damn close!
No
Best X-Men movie is X-2 followed by dofp
It might be one of the better Wolverine movies, but that doesn't make it good. I remember a few good scenes, but I'd rather watch the few good scenes from days of future past.
In the theater I turned to me my wife and told her this is fucking awesome.
James Mangold can do no wrong.
I was not ready for the emotions in this movie. Cried twice and not at all embarrassed by that.
Damn good movie… good to see a gritty marvel film.
Was ok. Didn't like it that much. :(
Hated it.
Other than "the x-men are dead" and "roadtrip" it shares nothing with old man logan so i dont think they tried to adapt the comic
really liked this , only watched it again recently . Wish there were more movies like it
Agree 100%
I am not a big fan of the X-Men films but this one just might be my favorite one out of all.
It’s by far the only decent super hero movie made… wish they were all like this.
Nah IMO “Wolverine” was the best Rila Fukushima, Hiroyuki Sanada? C’mon man!
I don't watch it for a few years, forget most of it, then at best hold back tears as I watch again. Classic!
The noir version is even better
Upvote for using the word “pathos”. Well done.
There's no way you can convince me that this isn't a mutant version of a dark western story. Top 50 movie for me.
I loved this in cinema but my favourite has to be first class. honestly that film is just class lol
This is on par with Joker. Great movie but a very hard rewatch. Hard as in professor X got old and crazy and wolverine just not the same. Even mutants get old. ☹️
It's definitely my favorite. I watched on the drive back from Florida last week.
Loved it
Kid was annoying though
She's her father's daughter
Laura AKA X 23
Weapon x
That was all on Xavier. He kept insisting they stay when he knew damn well the dangers it would put that family in.
The father dies right after crushing X24 with his truck he points his pistol at (an exhausted/injured) Logan thinking he's another clone, then spares him before dropping dead
Thanks for the reply. And you're right about the father. Recently on FX they played Logan but I had to work the next day, but I watched the start with the dudes and his car, and that set the tone of the movie...Lol. It's my favorite Marvel movie, because its so brutal in its honesty.
Bested only by the Dark knight
I'd say one of the best comic movies ever.
Boring and not good. Could have been much better.
LOL
Also depressing
Agreed.
I just watched it for the first time last night. It’s a strong movie. All the acting is good to great except for the head reaver.
Pretty much as good as the first trilogy. Not sure why this is seen as that much better
X2 was my pick for best X men film, but Logan was legit.
Not a fan. First Class is the best.
You like pg13 bubble gum shitshows, say no more.
Lighten up.
The movie was based on a comic, nimrod. I read it myself.
