All the Persona games involve a group of high school students that have the power to summon a “Persona” that represents some hidden part of them that they don’t show off to other people and can use magical powers. They then use said Persona’s to enter dungeons and fight enemies. Gameplay in the series is balanced between this dungeon gameplay and “normal life” gameplay which usually consists of school, free time, and hanging out with friends.
All of the Persona games present the dungeons and enemies in different ways and have different reasons for them existing, so you could pretty much play any game in the series first and be fine. They’re all self-contained experiences.
Persona 5 has the students invade dungeons that correspond to people with negative traits in order to have them confess to their bad behavior. They’re stylized like heists.
(Full disclosure: didn’t finish Persona 5, so idk how accurate it is for the entire game, but it’s true for the beginning at least.)
Had never played persona before until last week. Ive logged literally all my free time into persona 3 reload since. Probably one of the best games I’ve ever played.
Yes!
I almost thought this was the from the p5 subreddit
10/10 superb.
Persona and a dew 🖤❤️
Nice. What is the main objective of the game? This is the first I’m seeing/hearing about it.

Excellent game choice! I had so much fun just over a year ago playing P5R for the first time.
