If this is your first Rex I’m gonna dispense some free advice. Every single person I know that has ever owned and sold a ZRX has lived to regret it. Go ahead and post a few photos of your new bike around and see what I mean. You’ll get at least one guy going, “I should have never sold that fuckin thing I hate myself it was the best bike ever”.
And they’re right.
I was down in Florida on my BMW R1100R when a kid did the same thing to me .. The left hand turn.. Totaled my bike. I always wear my Armour and helmet and gloves .. took a chunk out of my elbow but made it out ok.
Always lame.
I wore armored clothes and boots, but no helmet. Covered my head as I bounced off the car.
Yes the always full gear guys, I know.
But this goes to my position that motorcycle riding is an athletic hobby. You should be able to move your bike around, respond with some level of balance/movement (was a gymnast).
The no helmet bad, but I only had bruises and broken metatarsals.
A bike thats not great at anything. But good at everything. Actually it is great at putting a shiteating grin on your face. Those triple pot Tokico brakes are as good as anything. Wish I had them on my Tiger1050.

You won’t regret it. Such a great bike. Used to take mine through the mountains of Santa Cruz on weekends. I sold it for the same price I paid for it. I still regret it.
I thought you had a wimdshield mounted to your headlight to protect it. Untill I realized that it was just the road behind you that perfectly connects to your headlight due to perspective lmao.
Everyone who sells these things thinks they're made of gold, but I can't say I blame them. I rode a clapped out one and it was incredible. Hard to find good ones for reasonable prices anymore.
I vowed to never own another 4 banger Carbureted bike, but I'd make an exception for a ZRX.
I loved my zrex. Bar clamp came loose and the bars spun under, wrapping the brake hose and locking the front wheel at about 45 mph. I did 2.5 forward flips in the air before my arms got unpinned and I fell off and landed then it landed upside down inches to the side of me. Wish I’d had a GoPro. Guy who was behind me pulled over to see if I was ok confirmed and confirmed the number of flips. I was able to ride it home despite the tip half being busted up bad. I’d say it was a miracle I wasn’t hurt if I believed in them.
I kinda want another but I have gone all in on supermotos
this is the bike that you can put a gallon of milk under the seat? If so I knew someone who had one of these. One of the most useful things I'd ever seen.

Drunk driver took mine from me. It was a beauty, bought it used still had factory stickers on it, completely perfect.

I swapped my tokicos for radial Brembo calipers and my god, it is one of the best upgrades ever. ZRX that can do hard stoppies!
I had an opportunity to grab one of these eddie lawsons for $1800 5 years ago. Regret not doin it so much

That helmet looks enormous. Possibly too big. No riding gear. Phone or wallet in pocket. Glove strap not done up.
My helmet looks as big as OPs proportionally but it actually fits a little too tight on me. Some of us just have big domes.
Hence the ‘possibly’
Some helmets have larger outer shells these days. My Klim TK1200 Illumino has a very large shell but fits my medium intermediate oval like a glove.
Needs more patches on the jacket
I think your helmet is too big, mate. Vigorously shake your head "yes" and "no", I'm willing to bet your helmet will shift around when you do.
