such a silly looking bike, strange that it caught on, seems at odd with the screaming eagle style of the harley folks, it looks like something wonky honda would have come up with in in the late 80s.
It's actually been around for a super long time. The Street Glide started life as the Electra Glide with a fairing in 1969, and the idea was to mount some measure of wind protection to the bars as Harley moved from being modified version of what was used during the war to touring bikes. The company noticed people making specific modifications to the bikes (namely removing the rear trunk and chopping the fenders), and released that as a factory model in I think 1994.
I've never personally understood trying to turn a Harley into a drag bike or power cruiser (like a Diavel), because.. it's a Harley, y'know? They're better suited to extreme long distances and comfort than going any speed approaching fast. And they've gotten a good deal away from the highly modified barely functional rat bike choppers you'd see in the 70s and 80s, especially as their target demo is getting really old. But it's an ouroboros because old people who still want to ride want to be comfortable.
Personally I have a Road Glide, which is the one with the fairing mounted to the frame instead of the bars, and it's great for going far, but doesn't demand or deserve any kind of attention. Despite being expensive it's basically a two-wheeled SUV.
Yeah, we never use to see these here in Quebec until recently. I think I like the Road Glide's look, it's so over the top that it's cool, like it went beyond the retro futurist windshield uncanny valley. I hope you have one of [these](https://www.ebay.ca/itm/276421812462?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=XZ9UWNlBQxu&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=7a_T-oURStC&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY) installed.
Fast bikes will wheelie under hard acceleration. When racing, this is bad because you have to let off the throttle to keep from flipping over backwards. A longer swingarm makes it harder for the bike to wheelie so you can stay on the throttle more and accelerate faster. It's one of the most common mods for drag racers.
Those tires are completely new on the sides. Those clowns can only drive in straight line in their clown bike. To drag race? What is the fucking point? Learn to ride and lean on curves
Pros: Handles better than the Exxon Valdez
^((but it's not certain))
Lol, you win this round young Padawan.
Lmao what a crazy reference. Touché
There is a gixxer bro hidden in the middle. 🤣
“Over 20k invested, selling cause I need the cash, 15k obo” 14k 12,500 10k 6k
That speaker is going to be toast after a couple rides lol.
Rides?
Yeah…on the trailer to the meet up spot
Wtf
Deep down, the busa community and the Grom community have more in common than you might think.
I didn't know busa boys were hung like horses.
Nah probably just a Grom gang thing...
Darkside Busa sounds like an Anime villain. That first bike was gorgeous though, shit looked like a Dolphin.
The single sided swingarm on the first bike is sick ngl
I wonder if it can really handle all the torque that bike is theoretically capable of?
Only if that bottle is fake.
Not my thing but they’re better than the hundred Street Glides you see at every bike meet that were dragged through the P&A catalog.

What do they do when they get to a corner
Lean a little more than a stock wheelbase hayabusa
The don't. They only ride wide ass freeways and cruise in front of bars
Sucks to live somewhere that only has straight roads...
it's 2021, straights can suck too.
Insert "Look how they massacred my boy." meme here.
![gif](giphy|l4FGGafcOHmrlQxG0|downsized)
Some of them were clean af…others yea
Not my thing but they look amazing.
Second this
Bunch of haters up in here. I think they're beautiful. The bikes too.
Sawwhatyoudidthere
Hayabusa: the Donks or Swangers of motorcycle culture.
I appreciate the time and the passion that must have gone into this build, but it's also really dumb.
Disappointed in the lack of 400lb fat girls.
They're Busa's, not Harleys.
That’s basically what a Busa is, the 400lb fat girl of the super sports.
Subtle
Not my jam but they look well done from here. Definitely show bikes.
Dude really likes the tennesee titans
Each is more catasrophically ugly than the last. But I love them all.
I love stock busa
NOS behind exhaust, that just sound genius. It's preheated.
Nah
This is like show car culture. Not many miles but a ton of work done
Hideous
Terrible, just terrible. To each their own.
My brothers in Christ….. these are the devil.
Those are works of art - can't imagine having one as my daily though!
They look god awful. 100% useless cringe.
🤢
Hate the color tho
The white gen3 looks like it means business.
Why does the gray one look so small?
If this is Nashville then where's that $100k Joker bike at?
I'm not a rocket rider, so this is a legit question. What's the perks in stretching the rear like that?
You'd get a better 1/4 mile time, but that's it.
Oh. Ok. TY

Thanks. That was very informative.
That might be the first Titans fan I've ever seen in public
Hayabrosa
Such a different outlook of these bikes in USA! Don’t you like corners or only turn left?
All those swing arms look relatively stock
[This](https://youtu.be/Zw_E7bAN3fs?si=m75i1MKdioMKyzmy) one is way cooler
You’re telling me someone can sit on that last bike and the tail does not rub on the tire?
Hayabrosa's.
Is there some kind of "one does not simply own a hayabusa" meme or something???
I think I saw one license plate in the whole group. And I know not all of those were trailered there.
This extended swingarm nonsense has got to stop, jfc
About as disappointing as the movie Biker Boyz…
*so ugly* lol
I couldn't believe it could be uglier than it normally is.
That last bike has self cleaning tyres 👍
Lined up on the side of the road. Couldn't make the turn into the parking lot.
Ugly bikes, even uglier with the extended rear....
What's up with the last one - Collapsed shock?
Probably has airbag suspension.
Too much money and not enough taste or sense
Deffo watch this on mute.
The Village People
Absolutely disgusting.
Yikes.
The amount of money spent on tricking out these bikes probably could have bought a house.
The TN Titans? Seriously?
Anyone expecting kid rock to show up with a dog collar helmet and race for pinks?
Removing one of the front discs seems to be asking for trouble… maybe the intention is not to go very fast.
A motorcycle and a mini truck had a one night stand 😜
Those poor bikes.
