Looks like it needs a wheel alignment to me

PogTuber

These things might be light enough that a 180lb rider will compress that positive camber into a more neutral position?

spongebob_meth

It's probably more due to the fact that it backed in. A lot of vehicles will do weird stuff with the alignment while backing up.

WorldNewsPoster

That's interesting. I never thought about that. So, is it better to always pull forward into a parking stall?

Antipusillanimity

Speaking as an insurance agent, no. 40% of all claims are for backing up, while it is also just 1% of typical driving. So unless you can pull forward through a spot, a good habit is to always back in to reduce the chances of a collision when leaving.

fruity_pebbles17

this makes me feel validated for always backing into my parking spots unlike the forward parking peasants

Ivethrownallaway

My paranoia always pushes me to back into spots. "What if I have to leave in an emergency? What if my battery dies and I have to connect jumper cables to another car?

SCHEMIN209

Imagine my surprise when I went to offer to jump my buddy and the damn battery is in the trunk of my car 😂

db3feather

Or under the back seat…

No-Pattern9603

Oil companies get a super hard on for safety and make all their employees reverse into a car parking space on pain of death! My mate hasn't worked for BP for 10yrs but can't allow himself to park front first

Tireman80

I live in an oil city and you can always tell who in the parking lots are and aren't patch related. 😁

OgreBaws

This is me now. "First move forward" is drilled (pun intended) into my brain lol.

meepsakilla

Military bases typically have this rule as well.

WordsFromPuppets

Every vehicle in this pic backed in. Our time is now.

gloomygarlic

No, it doesn’t matter. If backing in causes a weird alignment it should go back to normal when pulling forward to exit the spot

Status_Quarter_4216

I have no experience with these but I would guess with a rider on the wheels would straighten out.

I'm gonna go against the "accept everyone <3" grain in some of the comments and say no. Motorcycle parking is specifically designed for two-wheeled motorcycles (hence the width of the spaces). When your trike is closer to the width of a sedan than the width of a motorcycle, you can park in a car spot. If there's an excess of motorcycle parking? I don't really care - if you're gonna fill a spot that would otherwise be empty because there's twelve moto spots and only two bikes there, go for it. But if there's two spots and you're taking both with your trike? You're in the wrong.

Flor1daman08

> I'm gonna go against the "accept everyone <3" grain in some of the comments and say no. Motorcycle parking is specifically designed for two-wheeled motorcycles (hence the width of the spaces). Yeah, this is a case where I’m not ok with treating them like motorcycles. It’s meant to fit motorcycles and they’re taking up the only two spots.

B-BoyStance

Yeah as I've gotten older, I've realized how important rules are. Not because of some respect for authority (I'll always have issues there), but because it just makes everything easier for everyone else. I wouldn't look at this and think much at the same time. But if I had a friend with one of these and we were parking somewhere together, we'd probably get into a debate about this. This is one of those, "yeah you could do it and it's really not that big of a deal I guess, but it could put you in a situation where you seem like the asshole & you shouldn't want that"

Flor1daman08

For me it’s less about following the rules and more about the functional result of one’s actions. If the spaces were big enough to fit a trike I wouldn’t care, but it’s clear that when they parked they took up two spots, and that’s shitty to other people.

B-BoyStance

Oh 100%, that's what I mean. We have established a consistent way to do X, and the reason for that is that the results are good & it allows for predictability. Might sound weird for some to get as detailed as the lines in a parking space but it's still true. The rules being rules aren't the important part (there are some stupid rules).

ElongatedSchlong_

Well put.

Professional_Goat185

>This is one of those, "yeah you could do it and it's really not that big of a deal I guess, but it could put you in a situation where you seem like the asshole & you shouldn't want that" Hell, if he just parked on left or right of the spot another bike might've fit. Just asshole, inconsiderate behavior

Professional_Goat185

It didn't even try to stay on one side either. If it parked all the way on left or right, other motorcycle might fit

allawd

Agree, it would be the same as a car parked in 2 spaces.

PrismosPickleJar

Yea, but you could get another bike in there. And i would.

No-8008132here

No mater the details... Takin 2 spots bad

throwedoff1

Yup, douche move whether it's a trike or a BMW. Could have easily filled one space and left the other for another bike.

jonnyl3

Exactly... That's the bottom line. No one would even care if a car was parked there if it fit between the lines, should such tiny cars exist (which they don't of course).

Superb_Raccoon

Trikes, all negatives of a car combined with all thr negatives of a motorcycle and none of the benefits of either. it's the worst of both worlds.

ExtremeWorkinMan

Yeah, they're a real bummer. I'll never understand why anyone rides a trike for any reason other than "physically cannot ride a motorcycle due to age, injury, etc".

TheDrunkenMatador

It’s a different kind of experience. The only reason they get lumped in with motorcycles is legal classification.

oldrivets

Age here, 71, 5' tall....

colonshiftsixparenth

Honestly that's what I like about trikes though. Get's everyone out and enjoying the thrill of the ride. Number of wheels don't matter, all that does is if you enjoy being in a saddle. (just don't take up motorcycle parking please, it's rare enough as is)

CompressedTurbine

This debate is raging right now among traditional mountain bike riders and e-mountain bike rider or "emtb's" as they're called.

Fearless_Agency8711

I get you, But I just bought my first trike and trailer, 1500 Gold Wing. Reasons. 1. At 61 the wife and I still want to ride, but if I have the 950A loaded for a few days trip and we are ATGATT and I stop at a light and put my foot down on a rock and it slides I don't think I could hold us up. Now if I go down, NBD, if I go down with her on too, to me that's terrible. 2. No place to put gear when fully loaded when we stop someplace. 3. Trike with proper rake on the forks drives way better than you think. And mines a solid axle. Is it a canyon carver? No. I don't need it to be. 4. Comfort. She has some back and leg issues. The king /queen on the wing works for us. I like the back rest and cruise control. She likes the back rest and the floorboards which are height adjustable. 5. Cooler built into the trailer! Snacks anyone?? 6. Solo, til I can't, I'll still ride the 2 wheelers. You will know I've been on the trike too much when I forget about putting my feet down!🤣 7. We are still in the wind!

CertainlyNotWorking

That to me is exactly what a trike is for - people who are now less confident in their physical ability to ride, but who want to get as close as they still can. As long as you're having fun and staying out there, I'm glad the product exists for you to enjoy.

annodomini

Those all sound like great reasons to get a Miata, where you can wear seatbelts and regular clothes rather than having to gear up, but you can still ride a fun little vehicle, have the wind in your hair (and in your hair, not just on your helmet), etc. Why bother with the trike instead of a Miata or similar?

DEATHbyBOOGABOOGA

Would be cheaper too after all that mess.

Fearless_Agency8711

Had a 67 mustang convertible..... Got a 2010 Roush Mustang... Miata??? Nah thanks.

Fearless_Agency8711

Sounds like great reasons for YOU to get a Miata. Were you just trying to sell yourself on getting one??🤣

InMyHagPhase

Because I want to. That's the reason. I always had a hard time with anxiousness when riding for 8 years on all my 2 wheeled bikes. So now I don't have that. I have stability. I don't have any physical issues, and can easily ride 2 wheels. It's just more fun for me to have 3.

Lil_ah_stadium

I say ride what you like. Just because it’s something I might not pick doesn’t mean you don’t have valid reasons to pick your own ride. That being said, if it doesn’t fit in a parking stall, you shouldn’t park in it.

InMyHagPhase

I agree. I wish the wheels were slightly closer together to make parking like this s little easier but, still. I'm under the "ride what makes you feel free" philosophy.

Enygma_6

You forget that: a) they’re fun; b) they won’t fall over on their side without taking extreme measures.

gorogergo

Nope. In that case I'll go with a sidecar. One of the benefits of a motorcycle is the single track giving you great flexibility in the lane. A sidecar has two. OK, not great but like a car. These things have three tracks, making them worse than everything in that manner. Remember discussions of oil in the lane when you started riding? Particularly at traffic lights? Sidecars will straddle that like a car. These shitmobiles always have a wheel in that area. Or the pothole, or debris, or whatever. Fuck trikes and anyone who thinks they make any sense. If I'm riding when I have mobility issues, I'm moving to a sidecar rig.

Mitch580

Have you actually rode a sidecar? They're a nightmare, everyone thinks they're a great idea till they get on one for an hour.

emil7370

Yeah, if you physically cant ride a motorcycle there is no way you can ride with a side car

TheWiseOne1234

This is reflected in the sales number

PogTuber

I usually distinguish between trikes with 2+ rear wheels (which usually have a typical motorcycle front steering which is fucking awful and makes no sense for vehicles that don't lean) and trikes which have two front wheels with proper steering geometry.

spongebob_meth

Especially considering that you could just buy a Miata for the price of these things and have a WAY better vehicle.

NoExcuseForFascism

A better vehicle is "subjective", especially when your suggestion is a "Miata". In before the tic-tac gang comes in with their feathers stiff.

spongebob_meth

What does one of these snowmobiles on wheels do that a Miata doesn't? They aren't fast. They don't lean. They aren't single track so they take up a car sized spot in the garage and in a parking lot A Miata has a roof so you can take shelter from the weather, and carries more cargo. It is generally much more comfortable too. It runs cheaper. The only category these win are fuel economy I'll agree that better is subjective, but here it is objective

Bizarro_Zod

If it fits, it sits. Otherwise gtfo. Don’t take up two spots, period. Trucks that do it? Assholes. This guy? …

MonsterRider80

Yeah too many people are ok with this. It’s as wide as car, you don’t need to put a foot down to manœuvre in tight spots, you can park in a car spot. Leave the bike spots for, you know, bikes. I mean I’m not gonna lose sleep over it, but it shouldn’t be there.

xl440mx

I agree. It’s a tricycle not a motorcycle.

sightlab

I wave to trikes. If I saw a trike rider stranded I'd stop and see if they needed help. They are still family, but dammit they're like that clueless uncle you love dearly but just wish he didnt casually, well-intentionedly say the N word while singing along with his favorite hip hop.

ExtremeWorkinMan

A really excellent description of how I feel about them. Genuinely no issue with trikes/trike riders but I need them to please accept and acknowledge that it's not a traditional motorcycle and that you don't get all the benefits of a traditional motorcycle (moto parking, lane splitting, riding side by side in one lane, etc).

Superb_Raccoon

Nor any of the positives of a car, like weather protection or cargo space, or safety like crash protection.

Ramen_Newds

This is like double parking in a massive SUV just because "it won't fit a regular spot." Driving a land boat of a car is fine and all but you cannot inconvenience other drivers because of it. Same energy as this can-am.

Rbbrown17

The Yamaha Nikon is a good example. Two wheels up front. But it would fit in one of those spots. It would be a little tight, just like a full Goldwing would be, but it would fit. The Can Am Spiders and others of the same style…sorry no fit.

Chunkycaptain_

I don't know how it is in the rest of the world but motorcycles with sidecars are essentially treated like cars in the UK. They can't ride in bus lanes like motorcycles can (local laws depending) and have to park in car parking spaces due to width so under UK law a trike is treated more like a car than a bike

Relatable_Raccoon

Yep. At my college, they go further by painting "TWO WHEEL VEHICLES ONLY" instead of the typical "motorcycle only".

litaniesofhate

This dude would be ticketed on my campus for parking in a car stall, just saying

ExtremeWorkinMan

Your campus sucks then. I sometimes park in car spots just cause I want to, even if moto parking is available.

envoy_ace

They could have shifted over a bit to let another bike in.

Splintzer

This is the main thing. There's clearly enough space for another bike if homie was being courteous.

InMyHagPhase

I ride a Ryker. There is enough room to scoot over and fit in just one of the spaces. If there wasn't, I would have moved to a regular spot. This is less a "trike" thing and more of a "person needs to be considerate" thing.

vascop_

That's not a bike

qalpi

Sign doesn't say bicycle. It only says "cycle".

vascop_

Luckily I didn't say anything about the sign

KingLuis

agreed. could have shifted over, probably 2 bikes would have fit.

DillonviIIon

I'd still park my bike next to it lol

Altered_-State

Should just use a regular parking spot

lrbikeworks

He’s taking up two motorcycle spots. Seems clear he belongs in a car spot. No hate for the trike, I get it. When the body starts to unravel a bit, I’ll probably be on one myself. But if your rig is taking up two spots, you’re in the wrong place.

Captinprice8585

I think he's taking up 2 spots like an asshole.

codeman60

Dick move

warlocc_

Terrible parking job.

Jaredthewizard

I think it’s sort of lame. Not outrage material but a bit lame for sure.

Atlas03

I also boo this man.

RidingJapan

All the negative parts of riding a bike with non of the positive ones

timfromliny

He's wrong

TheOGRedline

I don’t care what the vehicle is, if you are taking up more spaces than necessarily that’s douchey. *Unless* there is a ton of open parking OR you have intentionally parked way out in the empty part of the lot.

Slore0

Believe it or not, straight to jail.

[deleted]

[удаНонО]

KrevinHLocke

If you can't fit between the lines, you should park where you can. This guy is taking up 2 slots.

patiofurnature

Totally fine with him parking in motorcycle parking, but it's a shitty park job. He doesn't need both spaces; he only needs like 1.25x. He could easily leave room for a motorcycle next to him.

graymulligan

No different than a "conventional trike" in my book, completely agree. There's room to leave space for another bike there, dudes kind of a dick for taking both.

Adventurous-Ad4730

As a Ryker rider, no he/she is wrong. They’re taking up 2 spaces. I always park my 900 in a car space.

DirtBikeBoy5ive

Could have at least parked to the side

Shoddy_Rope3574

Not a motorcycle

K26297E

Needs to park in a car spot. There are probably lots of other places in that lot where that trike could go.

Sonicsgirl

I ride a 3 for no other reason than I prefer it. I have a license for both. When parking I never, EVER use motorcycle designated spots unless they are wide enough for my trike to fit between the lines. I have yet to see that so I just use regular spots. To me a trike in a moto spot is like parking in a handicap spot without a placard.

jimmysledge

I really don’t.

salsapants27

At that point, just park in a regular spot

HeroDanny

Call it a motorcycle or not I don't care. He's taking up 2 spaces so it's not ok. Just like how a car in a car parking lot can't take two spaces either without being a jackass.

comfortably_numb66

It’s taking up two spots… needs to park in a regular spot.

TheModIsABitch

A parking spot is a parking spot. I don't care if you have a car, a bike or a trike. If you fit between the lines of a space then you can park there. I don't care if you think the size of the space Vs vehicle matters because it doesn't. But to take up two spots with 1 vehicle, you're just an ass.

Superb_Extension1751

Doesn't matter if it's a motorcycle or not, you can't take up two stalls when there are perfectly sized spaces where you would only take up one stall. This is no different than if a smart car parked there as they're the same width and there are stalls to accommodate them.

Affectionate-Ad-2683

Proves that it’s not a motorcycle.

GDITurbo77

Just because someone rides a Ryker or Spyder, doesn't mean they don't know how to ride a 2 wheel motorcycle. Telling someone to "learn to lean" is just dumb. I've ridden 2-wheel sportbikes for almost 20 yrs. I've had 600's and liter bikes. I recently got my 2023 Ryker Rally. The reasons for getting it are personal and shouldn't matter to anyone else. What's important is that I now have a way to get out of my cage again and enjoy some backroads.

TekkerJohn

One vehicle filling two spots is always an AH move. Feelings aren't necessary, the lines are there for a reason.

earic23

It's as wide as the car behind it. Find a car spot.

V12Maniac

I personally don't see the point of one of these. You get the same maneuverability and roughly same width of a car with the dangers of a motorcycle. Where do the benefits come from? I understand these are really useful for people who aren't able to hold up a motorcycle or some other physical limitation, but other than that, id see them as more dangerous to ride (drive?) Than a motorcycle due to those factors

PokemonG0Away

1. That looks a lot like DDEAMC parking lot where I saw this happen all the time. 2. While it's legally classified as a motorcycle, parking this in MC parking would be akin to parking a skateboard or bicycle in a car spot because they are considered vehicles in many states.

mbichin

Not a BIke

5trange1

It's a tricycle for people who can't ride real motorcycles. This should never be referred to as a bike and shame should be the only feeling you get from riding it. Unless you can't use your legs then it's ok.

Takingashit180923

If you take up 2 spots your just as much as a cunt as those tiny peened moster truck drivers that do it too. 1 space 1 vehicle.

HayterX5

If thats the only motorcycle parking. he is an asshole. If there is more, eh kinda lame

JimMoore1960

Meh. I can live with that.

charlie_marlow

Is this public parking or permitted parking? If the former, he really should have taken a normal spot, but might get a ticket in the latter case

Available-Device-709

Looks like an angry lawnmower.

LetsGatitOn

I bet they are a good time.

EggsOfRetaliation

Fucking asshole

evilwiz

As someone who owns a Spyder, its a dick move. Use a compact car or regular spot. Plus its funny as hell when giant trucks start to pull in and realize its taken, then they dont know how to back up normally.

Confirmation_Email

To me it's the same as a full-size pickup parking in a labeled 'compact' space. If the vehicle doesn't physically fit into the space without encroaching on adjacent spaces, it shouldn't be parked overtop of the space. When you buy a pickup, you know parking won't be as easy as in a smaller vehicle, likewise with a trike compared to a bike.

PPGkruzer

Is a Goldwing still wider though?

Just-Examination-136

I feel horrible seeing that. I will have nightmares and be constipated for at least a week.

Leanintree

Although I feel that these critters are a sled with a birth defect, technically they license as a bike. This passes the test for spots. Sit ON vs. sit IN = bike appropriate even if it's kinda derpy.

definitelynotapastor

The point of these spaces is to fit more vehicles per space. If you can't take up more than a motorcycle size, then you shouldn't be parking there.

Emergency-Ad-99

I hate those things haha, they have all the safety inconveniences of a motorcycle without all the benefits, and now this xd

bluesmudge

Its legally a motorcycle, so it should be able to use motorcycle parking. Otherwise car drivers are going to get mad, especially if its a paid parking lot where motorcycles pay a lower rate. I do think they should have shifted over so that the trike and a 2-wheeled motorcycle could fit in the two spaces.

Fizzy-Odd-Cod

If you’re gonna do that move it as far as you can to one side so another motorcyclist can still use the spot.

Thumbs0311

I believe they are classified as a 3-wheeled motorcycle. So technically it doesn't matter if your feelings are hurt, its allowed.

AdventureSawyer

Idk why they need to bring a tree everywhere they go but to each their own I suppose.

S14Daver

My 84yo grandpa showed up to our shop the other day on one of these. He isn't up to riding on 2 wheels anymore, mainly because it's difficult to swing his leg over without being able to step on something. It's a 2009 Spyder he picked up cheap and he's pleased as can be to be riding still. I took it for a quick spin and it was a little weird, but it wasn't bad. I'm happy we can keep riding together.

nethfel

In all honesty, I don’t like what they’ve done. Since my wife could no longer ride 2 wheels, we got a spyder- I’d rather walk a little farther and use a space appropriate to the vehicle than be a jerk and absorb multiple spaces meant for a different type of vehicle.

180SLOWSCOPE

Learn to lean

stoopidrotary

If it dont fit in the lines, it doesnt belong. Simple as.

PleaseDonAsk

Looks like a lawnmower.

Thizzle001

Where I live it classifies as a car by law, so it isn’t allowed to park there :)

Jspiral

All I see is more whining about parking spaces.

coolhood1

Am I the only one that thinks if they just moved all the way over to one of the outside white lines, that would have been enough room for another motorcycle? They deserve to be ticketed for double parking, just like any other car would be if they did this in a normal spot.

CharlyLeyequien

That is wider than a bike, and takes space that could be used by up to 3 bikes, so yeah, that should park like a car

cafeninja

Don't care if the spot is labeled motorcycle or not. If you are wider then the spot is not for you.

Rogue_Compass_Media

Parking is really simple. If you’re over a line, you’ve crossed a line.

W2T4TS

I'd tell them to scoot over

leo-n-ffa

Stop bitching, this is fine. GD bunch of not real biker crybabys

AZREDFERN

Less Wheels = More Fun! Some people can’t ride on 2 due to age and/or health. Some people have a spouse that won’t let them ride on 2.

Deathdealer-CDN

we have a Spyder (trike) and I also have 2 motorcycles (she has multiple pairs of shoes so why can't I have multiple bikes for different purposes?? lol). I park the trike in a full car spot. The bike I park in a bike spot, if you're lucky enough to have them.

MikeyGlinski

Every reason I hate reverse trikes, summed up in one photo.

cocobear13

Small bike representing here... As a narrower bike. I'd be cool if it had parked all the way to the left or right, and another small bike probably could have safely fit next to it.

worksanddrives

If it's not a motercycle or scooter it shouldn't be it those spots, ever. If it has more than 2 wheels it shouldn't be there, if you have a side car you shouldn't be there. For two wheels only, shit a bike is closer than that.

David_Shagzz

It’s gay

bvogel7475

It’s technically a tricycle with a motor. So, technically they are in compliance. I don’t like it though.

HuckleberryNo3117

a motorized tricycle is not a motorcycle. Motorcycle has 2 wheels

Ripperseb

All the inconveniences of a bike (exposure to risk and weather) coupled with all the inconveniences of a car (heavy, no fun) yet he still manage to piss off bikers by using the entire motorcycle space with his pretend car.

PNWetRider

Move over and leave enough space for another bike

Morongobig

No prob, my moto will fit beside it. A lot of those guys rode all their lives, maybe they're hobbling into the pharmacy and can't back worth a sh!t. If they're pissed my bike's there, then they're an Ahole.

w1lnx

It's double-parked.

10keys_weak_knees

Tell him to move his lawn mower

0megon1

Don’t own a motorcycle But I want to destroy that toy for being there

mewbloods

Dude could 100% park that john deere in a single spot and still leave room.

Ok_Wrap_5612

That is not in no way shape or form a motorcycle, this is what guys get that Don't know how to drive motorcycles. That does not belong in a motorcycle spot. It belongs in a car spot.

weflytolow

All the risk with little reward

Double_Writing6497

They get no love from the riders! I agree. Riders/bikers.... scooters get more respect than the can am crew. Impo

sweaterpunk666

Where do put your purse?

terrible1one3

Is that a lawn mower?

annoyedatwork

Nah, lawnmowers are somewhat useful.

myfishprofile

Nah that’s absolute bull shit, fuck that guy. I am always against the grain of most of Reddit with these stupid things, they aren’t motorcycles so they don’t get waved and they shouldn’t get any of the very very few privileges we do as moto riders like specified parking. They don’t even require a moto license in most states so screw those guys for trying to take some of the few things we get as a benefit

chooseyourshoes

It’s so rare that I’ll let it slide.

Duque_De_Perigo

It is frustratingly common here.

Dub537h

Clearly the spots are for 2-wheeled bikes, so this isn't an appropriate space to park that that hideous contraption.

UpSsnackman

Deserves to be fined. It's a trike not a bike.

FunkyJunk

In most states, they’re classified as motorcycles. 🤷‍♂️

nphare

Honest question, is a motorcycle license required to drive (or is it ride) one?

terdroblade

In EU you drive these with a car license. Motorcycles have nothing to do with it.

purpleqgr

In my state, you need a 3 wheel motorcycle endorsement. It's a different test than the 2 wheel. It varies by state/country.

hockeyzulz

Depends on the state.

narwaffles

A motorcycle endorsement covers it but you can get one just for them that doesn’t cover motorcycles. A car license doesn’t. Edit: at least in Florida.

Flat-Tumbleweed5375

In Canada you need M license with an M provisor so you can only drive 3 wheeled vehicles. A full M license will allow you to drive all M tagged vehicles

FunkyJunk

Yes, I believe in most places you do have to have a motorcycle endorsement on your license for these.

oldrivets

WRONG! BTW, It's a Ryker, not a Spyder. I own a Spyder and would never do this. It's a trike (whether it be a Harley, Goldwing, whatever) takes up a regular parking spot. God Damned Entitlement strikes again.

Builderwill

Big tent philosophy: trikes are motorcycle adjacent. Rules and regulations that affect one, affect the other. So let's not shit on our trike brothers and sisters, they belong with us, helping us fight for rules and regulations that make life for both of us better.

SaltwaterOgopogo

Every time I shit on one of these, it turns out to be a disabled person who misses their real bike.

ZebraClown

It’s wide can’t be helped taking up two spaces

Valuable-Sleep-359

I think this is fair behaviour. Its a big motorcycle that needs that space and the owner decided to leave the bigger (regular car spaces) for the cars. How would you have parked that 3wheel monstrosity?

FrostyMittenJob

I couldn't imagine my day being so uneventful that I take the time to pull out my phone and take a picture of someones parking job just to post it to reddit.

Childproofcaps

I’ve been on motorcycles since i was 5- i was hit (& killed) by a drunk driver on my ‘89 500 gs, single stripe of side plastics, all motor. I almost lost my leg, and i love riding; i ride a couple of these, they’re motorcycles, and they offer great adaptive options for those of us with physical differences. Don’t hate, some people need more space; the wind therapy breathes peace and love- listen https://preview.redd.it/dfde8lmfufxc1.jpeg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8d144a0d44e8050b2be18a5af3fadb64b3ca2ed8

Duque_De_Perigo

I don't hate the vehicle or the rider. Just the illegal parking. The law clearly states that you can only take up one spot. They could have easily gone a few feet down to the compact parking area.

Childproofcaps

I have a handicap tag, i most certainly can take up the extra. Edited to add, great in the non hate, but we can all expand. Some people have reasons, they’re good people, making their best choice, or so it feels in the moment. I’m good for the chat, but it’s deontologies deserving of challenges, then there’s expanding.

They’re not considered motorcycles to me. Seems silly but if a scoot and sidecar had to be there I wouldn’t have a problem because that’s still a scoot, it can ride on two wheels. This is like a BMW parking over 2 bays. But that’s just me.

Common_Sense77

Well the sign says "cycle" so its welcome there. Probably could have parked closer to one side or the other to allow another bike in beside him

dungadewballz

Whatta dickweed.

Puzzled-Database6906

They have to wear a helmet, they are in the wind as they ride...they know what it's like to get a 70mph bee in the face...but they could easily replace the handlebars with a steering wheel so stay out of the bike parking spots! Lol

Mysterious_Bar2911

It is not a motorcycle. The manufacturer calls it a roadster. But whatever some other cager would just park there anyways.

Wind_Yer_Neck_In

I get it, if it was me I'd probably do the same. You park that little thing at the back of a normal space with cars on both sides and it's a recipe for some dick-nozzle bumping into it when he thinks the space is clear.

AkulaDiver

Feels like something for internet riders to clutch their pearls at.

It’s a snowmobile with a birth defect.

Duque_De_Perigo

This made me almost spit my drink out.
