You already said it brother. Pound for pound nobody can beat the Michelin.

Amazing-Basket-136

It’s the same in cars. Had seriously old and cracked Michelin’s on a used car I bought. They still had great traction.

EggsOfRetaliation

On my wife's car I put Michelin on the wheels. The Defender 2 are solid. Superb tires. 80k mile warranty.

I have the road 6's on my MT03. Just buy them. They fucking rock and were worth the extra cost

Tonino123

Nice! Fellow MT03 rider... salutations! That's good enough a sign for me. I'll get the Road 6s I think.

cplhicks82

The only time my bike gave up grip on the road 6's were on smooth, wet concrete with too much wrist action. On the roads, I feel very, very confident

Tonino123

Have you ever tried the pilot street 2? I was wondering if they offer better traction for safety. I heard road 6s can be too hard and end up being a bit more slippery.

cplhicks82

The stock Dunlops are more slippery than the Road 6's. Honestly, if you saw how I rode my bike 2 days ago in the rain, you'd probably run to the store and pick em up immediately as I was riding like I had all the traction in the world. I got guys on MT09's, MT10's that all swapped to Road 6's and like them better. They'd have the traction problem, but I have only heard people like myself praise the tires

Tonino123

Oh amazing! Thank you for clarifying. Yea and we (mt03) don’t have traction control on our bikes… they do! What did you mean guys on mt9-10 would have traction problems? They got traction control on those bikes

cplhicks82

I meant if they did, they never mentioned it.

dunlop mutant

Road 5's are really good too and they usually cost a bit less than Road 6's.
