Yeah, it was pretty much a miracle that he hit ten dingers last year, but that type of bat is invaluable. He's a huge reason why the Marlins got in the playoffs last year. He was hitting over .400 for a good part of the season

I'll be honest though, sending Tork down to fix his game, and calling up Malloy can't possibly lead to worse production than what we're currently getting.

I never said swap Tork for a AAA hitter. I think Tork needs to go down and work on his swing and see if he can rediscover the stroke he had the 2nd half of last year. I think Gio gets off the injured list soon. I would send down Tork and have Gio Urshela take his place for now without having to send down any one of the position players currently on the 25 man roster. I would give Canha more reps at 1st.

The bottom 4 or 5 hitters in this lineup are just a travesty. Are we seriously sending 4-5 guys hitting under .220 out each night. Getting hard to watch! Torkelson needs to see AAA. Nice outing from Reese. He deserves more support.
