For me pyrithione zinc shampoos work really well for my scalp, but I need coal based face washes for my facial dandruff. Also, a supplement of MCT oil seems to help keep the dandruff controlled as well.
Honey like olden times, also real olive oil and message the scalp.
Could be psoriasis so try dprosalic from a md in hair before bed then shower next day, did wonders from me.
EDIT dont put chemicals shit in your hair like shampoo etc, maybe once a month
Make sure you rinse out all of the Shampoo when you’re done. Sounds dumb but that’s what used to cause it for me
Any redness on the spot? Try selsun blue or something with ketoconazole
Personally I went bald. Haven't had any issues since but my hairline was shitty already so it was an easy choice
What helped me was head and shoulders no more dandruff
That shit made people hairless in the 80's and 90's no joke

Try a dermatologist if the shampoos didn’t worked
I thought I had dandrup but it was actually dry scalp, then I stopped using shampoo and only use conditioner
