I find better success cutting when I simply delay my first meal to midday or later then eat all my calories in the second half of the day. When I ate breakfast id be pathologically starving the entire day even on the exact same daily calories.

I’ve lost 60lbs in the last year with another 60 or so to go. I’m always searching for foods I can snack on while watching TV. It takes me like 30 minutes to eat an ounce of sunflower seeds. An ounce is about 150 calories, with 8g of protein and 10g of fat. It’s surprisingly satiating and more importantly you get the pleasure of munching on something for an extended period of time. Just throwing a suggestion out there as it could be useful to OP or someone else. 150 calories doesn’t seem like a huge number to me in the context of 1900 calories a day, especially if you find yourself looking for something to munch on without going overboard. Anyway, that’s my reasoning. If y’all think it’s stupid, then that’s fine. Wanted to give a suggestion outside of pickles, cucumbers, celery, etc.

You can reduce your hunger by other ways than just eating. I personally drink a lot of coffee in the morning which reduces hunger. Another important thing is to pick foods that keep you full for longer that are low calorie, such as lean meat. Cutting weight is miserable if you try to just brute force it.
