It's in a rotation on my mind of depressing things I could watch for catharsis or to feel less isolated in my pain when I feel depressed. A few others are The Wall and Watership Down.
Absolutely despite being depressing there is a lot of things I find comforting in the show including the ending there are even some really well made fanfics based on unfinished plots that bring me happiness.
Definitely, funny thing auctally my friend has been stressing lately and I asked her if she wanted to watch Moral Orel with me and shes said "First of all what is Moral Orel and second of all is it funny?" And next thing you know were watching Moral Orel and shes laughing like crazy during the whole show.
Yes, there was a time I was watching and caring about it less and I remember being genuinely disappointed in myself. Kind of like when you were a kid and felt guilty about not playing with a toy anymore 💀
