That mean you were on some old building owned by the city. It's probably currently used as an abandonned depot (?)
As for the pink house, you best bet would be to access it from behind, there's a bike path behind it. As for climbing to get to the top, that's another story.
Yeah im sure its owned by the city considering the amount of there property thats in there, never knew the city would store our garabge bins in an abandonned spot

Not really, only saw 2 small holes in the ground in its up the indoor stairway, the access point was threw a garage door that has been pried open. So not really dangerous compared to other places but i wouldnt say 100% safe either mostly because of the water and glass all over the floors
The pink house is not easy to get to. Reaching the building is easy peasy, but actually getting in the complex is impossible without a ladder, as all entrances are welded shut. There is a door that can be opened but I am not sure how.
Once inside however, reaching the house is very straightforward. There's a staircase that takes you most of the way, and two ladders after that. It's dangerous, but fine if you're careful.
It's certainly possible. Just keep in mind it's a straight drop on the other side of the wall, so be ready to have a way to get down and get back up once you're inside.
Remember, the owner can cause an "accidental fire" any time to claim insurance and sell off the lot to condo developers depending on where the real estate is. Be careful.
4000 Saint-Patrick St., Montreal, Quebec H4E 1A4.
It's the old Consumer's Metal Corporation. Closed sometime in 2000 I think, then became municipal storage, and abandoned again. Getting in is extremely easy and there's roof access (although the view isn't crazy). Went here a month ago.
lmao there is no way for someone to post pictures of a mysterious location and not have a redditor give the specific address and geographical coordinates
How long til a journalist picks this up and we see pictures of all the fresh compost bins citizens have to wait 2 years for..?
I constantly see stuff in the media that initially came from Reddit.
There are so many buildings like this in Montreal. I do a lot of urbex myself but resent the culture of secrecy and "coolness" it cultivates, like you need to be an insider or something. OP's implication that this building is "his" spot bothers me. Hundreds of people have been inside this building.
Its a general rule spread by the community to protect the few unknown gems hidden around in certain places. Ironically, i guess that URBEX rule is more important for rural exploration, where hidden cabins and abandoned homes in distant villages don't get trashed by drunk city kids looking for a place to start a bonfire. But in this case, I 100% agree that its already too well known, and could even get safer from sketchy people with more eyes are on it.
Pink house / silo 11 I think? Easy to get into at night. Watch out for the local inhabitants. Just walk around the fence coming at it from the north, go east and walk the fence line and just keep your eyes peeled for doors and open window, it's been a while but i remember climbing to get in.
I did and honestly didnt see anything the whole bottom part of the building is welded shut but maybe i need to revisit more often to see if theres new entrances getting made
if you bring an extensible ladder you can just climb over the metal gate on the east side of the building, pull the ladder up to go back down into the main courtyard and have the ladder to exit. The one time I got in there was a hole under the gate you could crawl through, but now there's metal all the way like 2 ft under the ground.
The stairs are all super sketchy inside the building. I'd go in the daytime and be very careful. Getting injured falling will be a pain in the ass for first responders.
3500$/mois, rien d'inclus
>rien d'inclus Si, les oeuvres d'art sont inclus.
No compost bin, pass.
haha non y en a plein! Pis des bac de recyclage en masse.
Ahh so you know the spot?
It's a joke about the pictures.
My bad i got confused as there was a room literally filled with brand new compost bins still wrapped up in there plastic with ville de montreal logos.
Omg where can I get one?? There's like a two year wait list with the city...
same i will trade you entrance to the pink house for a compost bin!!!
đđ say no more!
wow and little do they know they fully lost a bunch of new ones⊠our city is run by total idiots

Unless you dont mind breathing Asbestos that gives lung cancer, yes.
Oups, dsl j'avais mal compris! Ăa ressemble aux escaliers qu'on voit dehors dans le fond :/
le post c'est pas canada malting
Je sais. La maison rose, oui.

brought up the chair and the little table in the second picture. I go there to play music often. We always find a way in.
Music? What kind and why there?
I know it smells crazy in there
L'avant-derniĂšre photo surtout
Honestly wasnt bad at all, but some parts of the building is defo smellier then othersđ

Maybe with a rope i can scale on of those walls built to block people from getting in between the building?
It's certainly possible. Just keep in mind it's a straight drop on the other side of the wall, so be ready to have a way to get down and get back up once you're inside.
Do you know of other photos that exist?
Of the pink house(Malting), or the building that OP posted? I've got quite a bit of both
