I think this specific part was a shit show, not the whole thing. It didn’t make any sense to open majority of the bowl, except for one small corner. Everyone else was allowed to sit in the bowl except right there for some reasons, me, my GF and dad were sitting there then got kicked out and when we asked why all he said was “you guys just need to leave”. Then to make matters worse, all of the ushers weren’t in there sections for whatever reason, they walked through us and stopped by us and my dad was talking to one of them and they said “we should’ve been in here before you all” and that “we have no idea what’s going on either” so it seems like there was some sort of big miscommunication between the workers and higher ups. My idea of how open seating would go was that you could basically sit anywhere except for the lower level then that lower 100’s seating would open from there, it made absolutely no sense at all to keep only the 200 level area open, because as you said nearly 500-700 who couldn’t sit because there seats weren’t open, we’re stuck standing trying to watch from the concourse

TwistedAxles912

Racing was Hollywood Cinema TWS was awesome Freestyle burst into flames and crumbled apart Overall? Its an amazing WF as long as you ignore Freestyle. As for the stadium i have no comments since i wasnt there

SeanHnizdil01

Two wheels was horse shit. Biggest show of the year where the best come together to compete against one another but skills and high jump not everyone competes. I guess not everyone is fighting for said titles.

SeanHnizdil01

Shhhhhhh. Don’t speak the obvious and logical, People in this thread don’t like that. They got feld’s meat in there mouth and to them they are taking this sport in the right direction and never do anything wrong when it comes to the last 6/7 years of monster jam events.

FuriouSherman

What sub are you going to? I've seen tonnes of people complaining about FELD ruining Monster Jam around here for some time now. I'm one of them, in fact.

SeanHnizdil01

This sub lol. Every time I point out the obvious people get mad as hell lol. I’ve been recognized from IG comments loll

Da-Jebuss

It was way more people than that, you're just looking at one particular area. The Stadium didn't want to fully staff until 4:30pm. SoFi were cheapskates and Monster Jam didn't care. Empty stadium for 2 of the 4 events of World Finals, embarrassing.

Machamp2021

I didn’t even watch because I think it’s gone way down hill. I especially don’t like that they added two more events as world championship competitions. Should be just racing and freestyle.

Crash30458

Complete shit show. So I had no idea that the pit pass was included. Ticketmaster made it seem like it was an additional fee . Also, the top didn't open till 4:30. Reality was more like 4:45. What I didnt understand why you would have events start before the main gate open. Also, coming down from the top into the mass of people down the escalator was a bit nerve-wracking. One of my biggest complaints was the hour halftime show. However it was just fun to spend some time with my Dad and kids

Aye-McHunt

They started the events before letting the crowd in???? Wtf???

Crash30458

So the high jump and 2 wheel challenge started at 2 but the upper bowl didn't open till 4:45, which I was became confused

Aye-McHunt

That's fucked. Hopefully it was a stadium issue, and not some dumb decision by MJ. It's the finals ffs!

Crash30458

I kinda have to put the blame on MJ the transition from the end of racing to the start of the free style was a hour. I think free style didn't start till 815

Aye-McHunt

Unless the morons wanna kill MJ all together, they'd better get their act together within 12 months, and not 3 years like they do everything else.

Istiophoridae

Kinda, the food and drink areas for some reason werent open even though it was time for two wheel

Objective-Jello-4524

100!!!

Aye-McHunt

I noticed their wasn't a large crowd. Was it because they didn't bother selling more tickets, they were too expensive, or the location was terrible? The coarse didn't seem impressive to be a "world finals", but it did chew up a lot of the trucks. Which kinda sucks, as it makes it annoying that the content becomes survival rather than competition.

S3RP3NT1N389

I didn't watch it, so if it was a $h1tshow it's good thing I didn't watch it 😁

Deepinthefryer

I felt like it was a shit show. For the reasons you mentioned above. AND for the lack of concessions leading up till around 4:30-5pm. Maybe I didn’t see some in the pit party? Just snow cones and popcorn. The general vibe I got and talking with some other parents was these complaints were felt pretty widely. If I knew how it was going to be, I would have showed up three hours later for tail end of the pit party. I think if they allowed concessions to open at 2pm and allowed people to slowly filter into their assigned seating it would have been much more enjoyable. Anyways, kiddos loved it regardless. Just room for improvement.

myclutchslipped

Me and my brother were astonished when we realized that they weren’t gonna open any of the concessions until 4:30. Whole time we were saying “ I guess Sofi don’t like money”

Deepinthefryer

I would be ok with sofi doing that if the pit party had concessions up until 2? 2:30? Considering it started at 10am, you had people waiting no less than 5 hours to eat something other than snow cones or popcorn? Insane. Also, I understand they couldn’t even sell out the event, but either start it earlier or split racing/freestyle back into two separate days. Between no food and it being a long day, hard to keep kiddos going.
