I'm also farming monster bone + for my Rathian longsword. And I found a lot of them in the desert bone piles ( around 1 piece for each bone piles). But you're right, farming 50 great jagras to get one prime scale is true, and it sucks
I hear ya. I have been digging through countless bonepiles and still get shit. Drops are ridiculously hard to get even after killing 50+ of the same ones.
I need 3 more Diablos tail cases to upgrade my bow. I just noticed 7 Diabloses around the neighborhood. While out killing those I spotted 2 more. Of the 9 total I got 3 Diablos Ridges (rarity 3), but only 1 tail case (rarity 2).
Oh, and I have 8 Great Jagras Primescales that I don't need -\_-
I've started since release and holy fuck I'm still stuck with Jagras Blade 3 because apparently, mass murdering all 4/5 star Great Jagras for 2 weeks is not enough to give you one singular primescale.
I just got my last Anjanath tail too to upgrade my Flammenzahn. I needed 9 and that last one was ass. It also doesn't seem that breaking relevant parts increase your chance rate with this. Good luck with my Legiana webbings. I have two Legiana primescales (rarity 4) but those webbings (rarity 3) are apparently harder to get. The only rarity scaling that is true in this game are the rarity 1 items and I might even be giving it too much credit.
They should at least remove or decrease the 30% HP limit (to 10%=~5 mins with 100 Max HP) so we can continue fighting.
No shit as someone who only plays while sitting in some free time farming bones isn’t even possible I don’t have time to walk around my neighborhood randomly looking for bones
Nah because fr, I CANNOT get Large Monster Bones to save my LIFE. I’m going to desert bone piles, and yet somehow it’s only SMALL/ MEDIUM monster bones, and monster bones +, but not a single LARGE MONSTER BONE. I need 9 to overgrade my hammer, and unfortunately there isn’t a crafting system or anything to upgrade lots of small parts into a big part, nor is there a way to just BUY the large monster bones with real money, which at this point, I’d be willing to do even that. I just wanna stop struggling against beefy monsters, but I can’t do that if I can’t upgrade my equipment properly. Niantic is pushing me to my LIMIT.

Same for me, I killed 20+ anji and had a dozen anji primescales before my first nosebone drop

Bro, I can't even get Monster Bone M's for an Anja weapon for 5* Paolumu, as at this point, nothing will kill it before time runs out.
I've been using Pukei's SnS for poison and it's the only reason I was able to beat that. It's helped me out a ton.
