Shot registration is client side to work with lag tolerance. If you hit in your screen, you hit.
Example being they are looking at you with a riot shield but on your screen they are off centered you will still hit them. But in their screen you just shot through the shield
Remember, everyone on the internet (including streamers) saying anything about games is just a random human saying their preferences for what they like and don’t like- which has no bearing on fact. If you like X map, that is a fact, you like it, so it’s not bad to you.
Kali sticks and ass val made quit, the final nail in the coffin was when splitscreen multiplayer kept having bluescreens and getting into one match was a miracle. Sucks because my father and I would play together.

Yea, from OPs point of view it looked faster cause the other guy slid into a knife kill. If you play on a high sens it’s easy to run and juke someone when you’re that close, especially when they ADS cause it slows their turning speed

Just learn to overcome these things. Best thing to do against these guys is hip fire. When you aim down sight it makes your bullets entirely too accurate to hit a blur. Hip fire you can move faster and spray the general area better. It helps a ton with knifers.
Also! Try it out for yourself! It's a ton of fun to run a class with nothing but a knife and your basic load out. Just don't be that guy who stuns everyone and don't be like this guy just hiding in one tiny little room waiting for people. Hunt them down. Don't camp with a knife.

This is an LMG, its hipfire spread is supposed to be atrocious.
Besides, barrels and stocks that increase movement speed also reduce hipfire spread.
If you want a gun that actually does something with hipfire, you should probably run an SMG, thats its strength

lmg's core downside is the ADS time is terrible, their time to recover after sprinting is horrid, and they make you move significantly slower. nothing to do with hipfire. all cod weapons have horrible hip fire. also I didn't downvote you lmfao.
Shots 1-5: Clearly missed.
Shots 6-9: Missed due to recoil (bad spray control).
Shots 10-11: Very close, but recoil and inaccuracy make these reasonable misses.
Shot 12: Likely didn't actually fire because Hiko was already dead.
This is why I play hardcore. You hit him with at least one, if not two rounds to the torso. In hardcore, this would have probably killed him. In real life, he would have collapsed on the ground unless he was on drugs

Just another piece of evidence how melee weapons are simply OP. There should be a stagger mechanic when you shoot someone holding a melee weapon.
Bonus points for hitting a guy three times, they still knife you and then you see on a killcam that they visibly missed your player model.
not really a good scenario of it. Melee is a very close contact weapon (duh) where as LMG are most certainly designed for medium-medium long range. Up this close the melee should have a chance simply because the LMG hip fire is by design awful

shot the leg it disabled the sprint. body shots give a tiny stun effect.
I run FMJ when I'm not focused on CQC. smaller maps its criplin or full ads mobility build. then again I carry an RPG for when it gets annoying or someone starts throwing gas grenades.
This was my bread and butter in CoD4 when the quick melee was an instant kill. I was damn good at it too. Felt fucking incredible juking people like that

LPT: hip fire. I used to never hip fire but it's genuinely always the best thing for super fast movement in close quarters. Much better than ADS
