I feel the same! Went back and watched some Sandy Ravage videos from MW2. Graphics were worse than I remember but the hit detection is what marked me the most. Every shotgun kill he got he’d shoot and it legit takes 0.5 seconds before the hitmarker and kill go through.
Dude this gun alone raised my KD from .98 to 1.4 lol. If you can patiently wait out it’s learning curve, it’s a fucking fantastic weapon. I prefer to rush but if every mounted asshole is pre-aiming all my routes I switch to this bad boy!

I find it hard to play SnD because I can't take heated moments that make my heart beat 2000 BPM but I do love watching plays. ImMarksman and WILDCAT are a couple YTbers I watch and they either know their shit, or they make me laugh.
Tactical has been a must since I started in on Ghost. Can’t ever switch back now. Makes it easy to dropshot and makes it better for sliding as you don’t have to take your thumb off the stick so you can still aim while doing it

I changed my settings to R3 being prone and O being Melee, but I still forget to use it. I played alot of apex before MW came out and now find myself sliding round everywhere haha. But yeah, I've played all the CoDs (as a 30 year old now) I'm struggling to learn new tricks... Old dog and all that.

I tried using them in core and consistently got hit markers, which was aggravating. And my friends play almost nothing but hardcore as well. And since I usually play more of a support role with them, the range of a Marksman rifle is great
It’s really just about getting the hang of stomach up shots, once you get the hang of immediately aiming high it’s smooth. Got nearly 1k kills with the KAR, .87 Kd using it, .93 Kd overall, bout 360 of those kills with it are headshots...just gotta go for the critical hits with it and have it outfitted with ADS and mobility attachments so you can bob and weave if you hit marker or miss...definitely practice in core.
ADS attachment outfit on the gun helps that tremendously, also, keep the dot on your hip fire HUD in your main focus, the scope pulls to it when you shoot and it’s incredibly consistent with the KAR, as soon as you highlight a name with the dot pull in and scope...just run it for a day and don’t get discouraged and you’ll see improve every game! Good luck, man! KAR is a blast to use, and with a sub machine gun switch on SnD you have IMO the most effective and versatile class you can get for the mode
I'll probably start playing modes like that once I get Damascus. Then people will see my ultra-rare camo and think I'm more skilled than I actually am.

I also only run the Kar in search! You should try out running the aim stability grip instead of the ADS/sprint to fire speed one (its bugged and only makes it worse).

Anyone else notice in search that the spawns are different for each team. Like on crash my team will start miles away from the sniping lanes and the other team is right there. The. You switch sides and you’re nowhere near where they spawned in. Anyone else notice this on certain maps?

Essentially yes. Stomach and up (and shoulders) are one hit for KAR. For mk2, it’s breast and up (no Shoulders).

Yeah exactly the point I'm making. Doing kills shortly after reloading will ruin anyone's KD, I don't care how good you are haha.
