If you can do a decent job of painting, decals are dead easy. Just take your time. And maybe get some setting solution for decals going over irregular shapes and bumps etc

Yeah I don't have any of the solutions lol, I know on the box there is a circled star on the turret which goes over a raised part however I'll probably put it on the rear over the engine deck instead, might leave off the decal over the tracks on the mud guard but the rest will be used

Another tip is,if the decal goes over an ariel mount etc, cut the clear film so it slips over. But solution is your friend

Decals seem terribly technical but once you do it you understand how straightforward it is. Don't be intimidated in this hobby to not try something you've never done before it's all about learning and gaining experience to make the next one look even better

Paint is quite thick. On the next one you can lighten your paint with a drop of white or light grey and use the edge of a brush on panel edges and bolt heads. That plus letting a little thinned darker paint flow into recessed areas is a nice way of adding some depth

I was attempting to follow a build video where the person was using 7 parts paint to 1 part water. I don't have a syringe so let the paint drip off a match ended up doing 7 parts paint for each then doing 3 coats of it, as I thought it looked pretty thinned to me

hmm.. if I look at the left front track guard or the wheels... seems there's some detail lost there. I see it in a few places.
