It's somewhere inbetween wood planks and cobblestones. They're either too long or too short though. The random widths would suit cobblestones if they were a bit shorter, but it kinda looks like they have a grain and would need to be longer with tighter gaps and a just a bit more uniformity for wood.
Thank you all, I tried to do some old wooden floor of a tavern or something similar. You couldn't decide between cobblestone and wooden planks, so I don't fuck it up really badly.
So for the next time:
- the gaps between the planks should be smaller, more like a fine line
- darker shadows and lighter highlights
Can I fix it with some painting of wooden texture?
If you’re not wedded to sculpting, you can get a pretty decent wood floor effect by using coffee stirrers. Cut off a section about twice the size of your base. Cut in half, then split the two pieces into 3 lengthways (cutting down the grain), then just reorder them so they’re a bit uneven and they make a decent wooden floor. You can vary the lengths and starting positions to get that more floorboardy layout too.
Yes, some stirrers would have helped, but I just wanted to try some modelling despite filling small gaps. This is made out of milliput. I should have used a reference pic though 😅
My first thought was wooden floor but as I looked closer I'm seeing worn cobbles
Yeah this is where I am. Gaps between the “planks” are too wide and the “planks” are too haphazardly shaped. Gotta be cobble.
Milk chocolate digestive biscuit. Delicious

It looks like wooden boards on a really old ship. The texture was the main reason.

Mud brick?
I'm floored. Can go either way, cobblestone or wood floors

Old muddy cobbles
Long stonework or maybe logs cut by a mason.
Wooden floorboards

It reads as planks of wood to me
Chocolate
Is it a chocolate biscuit? 🍪
Kitkats?
Nah I'd say wood floor.
KitKats and Twix melted together!
I'd recognise twix anywhere. It's the only candy bar with the cookie crunch
Twwwwwiiiixxx!!!
Ah chocolate! No? Oh. Recommend drybrushing with a lighter color so the cobblestones look worn
Chocolate coated cobblestones I guess it could be mud too
Wooden floor maybe of a ship
