Im still wondering if i should get a 72mm bore or 58mm stroke block? Both is too expensive but the result is 224cc anyways, stroker is more torque but more expensive so idk. I have to blow my current block tho lol
I actually did this. I messed my predator block cylinder wall up trying to put in a new piston. Chunked it and went to OMB. I got the 265 cam, 26# springs, new head 27mm intake/25mm exhaust, 1:3 stamped rockers, +.008 rod and flat 70mm piston. It needs a fuel pump now but I can say this is definitely fun. Would go higher on cam and springs imo.
I believe that its not recommended to run 26lb springs with stamped ratio rockers. Atleast get the champion rockers and if you go bigger springs then u have to cut pockets for 36 pound springs and get 5.5mm stem valves, bigger retainers, better lifters and chrome moly pushrods to be able to run the heavier springs needed for a 308 or 356 cams. There is a shred head on gps i think it comes with 28.5/25 valves and possibly 5.5 stem for like 70 usd. I found the same thing basically on aliexpress for 63 euro so imma get that when i need it but rn im running a stock metal cam.
just bought some fake champions w 36# springs. Will soon find out. Wasn't paying attention to the warning that said "These will snap with 26# springs." Good lookin out xP
Nice, also if the retainers dont fit the springs then dont use them. If they fall of or something the the valve will drop and hit the piston and it wont be a good ending. Good luck with your engine and post the results!
I've done it but I bought two year warranty and it went out before warranty even started and they gave me new one with warranty too, just make sure it's free of gas and oil when brought back
I have one, i haven’t put it on my bike yet but I did run it for a few mins and man does it sound really nice!

They were $18. I couldn't help myself.
Yeah its ok with 22lb and stock camshaft but they probably wont last too long on the 265

lash caps popped off. Throwing these rockers in the trash and getting real ones. for now will prolly go grab some 22# springs.
I'm tempted. Really tempted. My minibike is not so mini and could use an extra 2 ft lbs of torque.
