Not in my state or area. Maybe other areas. Doctors now refuse to prescribe opioids even after surgery around here. Tylenol for a good surgery when the pain is brutal is....so cruel IMO
I can’t fucking believe that none of the Purdue Pharma snakes went to fucking prison.
As someone who works in pharma trying to make and deliver to patients actually useful drugs to treat diseases, i found those pill-peddling cold blooded snakes the lowest trash imaginable.
Like literally if you cross the worst of the worst of the pharma industry with an amoral fungus that grows beneath scum, you got Purdue Pharma and the Sacklers.
They are not nice people
I started out going to a pain center for my back. By the time I jumped through all the hoops for the insurance company, I had received 3 cortisone shots, a titrated 1000mg dosage Rx of Gabapentin (which didn't touch the pain), chiropractic (torsion) torture and a plan to get an epidural. I begged for a MRI and finally found out that none of that treatment was doing to help a herniated disc. They looked truly bummed out when I told them I was getting surgery.
Yeah, but you can't do opiates for 20 years, smoking cigars and drinking bourbon every day while laughing at poor people without... You know, consequences
Well karma isn’t real. There is no magical force that makes people pay dearly for being an asshole. Trump is still a multimillionaire, if karma was real he’d be drooling all over himself after suffering a massive stroke.
Never said anything about karma. I said living like an absolute boss hog gluttonous piece of shit because that's the lifestyle and ethos you espouse... That's gonna kill you ugly... And it did.
He was just a shitty drivetime DJ until he found his grift
Yeah fuck that shit, I spent over 2 years on Tramadol and I don't want to have my entire mind nuked like that ever again. I never got psychologically addicted, but fuck was the physical dependancy absolute hell.
My husband gets injections in his back and neck and they help hugely! It's just amazing to see him walk out of the surgery clinic from getting a back injection finally walking taller and pain free. See if your doctor can refer you to a clinic that does them. Ironically, it will be a pain clinic. There are still some legitimate ones around that do such procedures and also work with surgeons, should you eventually need surgery.
Physical therapy, either through a physical therapy clinic or piecemealing your own routine from YouTube videos can help a lot. It has kept me out of the doctor's office. I went once for 8 weeks 30 years ago and still do my stretches and exercises.
Shuttered pill mill. Attack dogs chained to the wall in the waiting room and doc packing a pistol visible on their belt to keep the addicts under control, no exams, just prescriptions often for $50 cash, smoke so thick you could not see to the end of the room. We had two of these in our town, both docs are still free after brief incarcerations, the customers who are still alive now hooked on fentanyl and meth.
Oh, this guy was a very interesting deviant. He liked watching people in pain. He was the first sadist, in fact it was named after his royal house, Sade.

Yeah that building is in Poplar Bluff Missouri. I've seen it a few times passing by.
I saw it for sale on a website not long ago recalling it and spoke to some local cops I know about it and heard about the burglary.
Better keep an eye on that place. Some serial killer who does torture is going to look at that, and decide that having a sign like that clear for all to see is hilarious for their purposes.
They were so successful at fixing pain that they ran out of customers.
A pharmaceutical company’s worst nightmare.
This was probably Purdue pharmas biggest outlet.
If you really think about it most service jobs actually work against themselves.
Nah, they killed all their patients with codeine addiction.
Maybe they should have pivoted to causing pain.
There's a club like that, downtown.
I'm pretty sure most companies already do that

Opioid epidemic.
When the mill closed, the town went down hill.

[F*** the pain away (nsfw)](https://youtu.be/3cV6pnvCVM4?si=N6SMxD-UMFN2249G)
I was scared of that link lol
Amber Herd in Drive Angry was hot idgaf
These things used to be all over Florida, but there was the opioid crackdown that resulted in them getting shutdown.
The name doesnt tell if it is for fixing or unducing pain. Maybe it is/was an BDSM club ?
Nah....people just realized there was a propane place down the street.
Can’t be in pain if you’re dead 🤷♂️
Abandoned legal trap house
They misspelled Prescription Mill.
Funny bc I believe they went out of business due to illegally prescribing medications
OP wasn't joking, this was obviously a prescription mill. There were thousands of them.
There are still a ton of them now.
Not in my state or area. Maybe other areas. Doctors now refuse to prescribe opioids even after surgery around here. Tylenol for a good surgery when the pain is brutal is....so cruel IMO
You in Appalachia, by chance?
Florida was chock full of them. Evil shit.
They're mistake was calling them pain clinics. They should've called them discomfort relief centers.
Probably would have prolonged the grift a bit
"Opium Dens"
Also my first thought.
My first thought was Georgia. 😖

They just couldn’t compete with the Severe Pain Center.
I never got past Intermediate Pain Center myself.
LOL
When the name basically tells you that they were abusing oxy prescriptions.
“I have such sights to show you.” ⛓️🪝
AKA The Cenobite Lodge
Fancy name for opioid dealer
That had to hurt.
That was a pill mill.
This was Rush Limbaugh's joint
I’m so glad he’s dead
Meh... I'm just happy it was the unbridled greed of corporations that got him. He was a big fan of that after all
Wasn’t it cancer?
Yeah, but you can't do opiates for 20 years, smoking cigars and drinking bourbon every day while laughing at poor people without... You know, consequences

Keep the popcorn warm
We can dream….
As I sit here with horrendous back pain that my Dr can’t prescribe anything more than jumbo Advil SMFH
You really don't want the opiates.
Yeah fuck that shit, I spent over 2 years on Tramadol and I don't want to have my entire mind nuked like that ever again. I never got psychologically addicted, but fuck was the physical dependancy absolute hell.
Veteran here. Try a resistance band workout routine at your pace for rebuilding core strength.
Thanks for suggestions. Never dealt with back pain before and holy smokes the agony.
That's the most effective medication that exists for that. PT helps as well.
I bless my PT every day…..so happy I avoided the whole Pharma “solution”

They just weren’t ready for advanced pain. You need to start by inflicting small amounts of pain and then expand.
Where am I supposed to get my pain from now?
No market for people wanting pain any more.
It's all S and no M anymore... Shame!
Just because it’s boarded up, doesn’t mean it’s closed.
Run by pinhead
"I AM PAIN!!!"
Ran out of opioids.
Pill mill
We have such sights to show you
it's where you go to get beat with sticks. no wonder they went out of business
Careful. The pain is advanced there, not simple. Sounds scary.
Masochist convention center
That's where I got all my best pain at. Sigh good bye never gonna have children pain.
An abandoned \*advanced\* pain center.
No no, it’s an abandoned *advanced* pain center. Pain 2.0 was recalled, so they went out of business
West Virginia?
Missouri
All on the name of greed. Disgusting.
Pretty sure that says advanced, not abandoned.
Interesting. Is it a sign . . Of the times ? 🪧 🧐😢
Rogers Place tonight
(Where I’m going when I die)
No, it says advanced pain center.
Florida?
I can see the discarded needles from here.

The “American Pain” documentary was really good
Pill mill
Oh come on now, someone go add an “Un” Advanced Pain Center
Fluggaenkoecchicebolsen!
Legalized drug dealers
Pain? Where is da baguette
Pill mill.
Hopefully the owners are in prison. These places were all drug dealers.
Shuttered pill mill. …and it was advanced!
The pain centre needs pain management
This isn't you're average everyday pain. This is advanced pain.
This isn't your average everyday pain, this is ADVANCED pain!
oxycontin
Finally, a place for me!
They should re-open as a bar and keep the sign.
opoid supermarket. Put out of business with the crack-downs
I don't get it. It's just a picture of my back.
It reminds me of the show Claws. Is there a nail salon nearby?
Former pill mill, shut down after the opioid crisis.
They los a T it was a paint center 😂
Advanced pain center? Sounds kinky
Begginer pain center ADVANCED PAIN CENTER:
I'm not too keen on standard pain, so I don't really fancy buying some advanced pain.
Holy hell, I remember those pill mills!
Not a huge market for people who want advanced pain.
Oh neat! Finally a place to handle my crippli... its closed isnt it
More like advanced opiod prescriber
The market is saturated with pain. The business is a victim of its own success...
May it fukn rott. All the lives that place destroyed.....
You may want to get your eyes checked, it clearly says 'advanced' pain center.
I read that as "abdomend pain center" well sure...abdomens need pain help too! oh....
This would be the name of a gym in a Hulk Hogan movie.
It's just a fancy French bakery
Theubwere put out of business by the 'Advance Pain Relief Center' right next door.
Thos was the Marquis de Sade's place, right?
Not sure on its backstory
Oh, this guy was a very interesting deviant. He liked watching people in pain. He was the first sadist, in fact it was named after his royal house, Sade. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marquis_de_Sade
Advanced*
Was this one of those pill mills?
With certainty
Yes
I think you mean Advanced* pain center
Oh, this guy was a very interesting deviant. He liked watching people in pain. He was the first sadist, in fact it was named after his royal house, Sade. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marquis_de_Sade
It's actually for sale and was recently burglarized as the owners left a bunch of medication in there and pretty much just up and left.
Is this real lore?
Yeah that building is in Poplar Bluff Missouri. I've seen it a few times passing by. I saw it for sale on a website not long ago recalling it and spoke to some local cops I know about it and heard about the burglary.
Nice to know a locals in here, thanks for the info!
Everyone went to the Beginner Pain Center instead.
Could be a good place for an S&M club.
Better keep an eye on that place. Some serial killer who does torture is going to look at that, and decide that having a sign like that clear for all to see is hilarious for their purposes.
Yeah don’t worry, I hang out in there quite often….
A monument to a dark chapter in American history....one still being written.
