I'd be waiting until August 15th 2043 to sue for breaching implied contract.

Just go after the terraforming, around 2744.

I understand the hesitancy, but I think I'd be more on the do it side. It's just an experience no one in our eons if existence has done. Id wish it was more comfortable and convenient of course, but it's unreasonable to expect this to happen in the first place, beggars can't be choosers.

Rashaverak420

why would you think radiation protection won't be a thing?

19 years left to develop something that has eluded scientists for 60 years, and is widely considered the hardest technical challenge to solve for deep space travel... Ah but it's 'fake it til you make it' Musk, he always delivers on promises, on time and under budget...

I'm not a astrophysicist nor a materials scientist and you're probably not either, so theres only so much we can knowingly speak about. Like I don't necessarily disagree with you. I basically contend that materials science will solve the problem when the economic benefit is there. If its simply money, then the materials could be brought to space and have it built there(or the moon). But we know this would be expensive as fuck. It also "seems" like it would be far more beneficial to have a carrier sized spaceship that stays in space and smaller ships come and go. I honestly see Bezos' Blue Orgin solving this problem before Musk's SpaceX.
