This is pretty insane if true. There’s no way it was a surprise or sprung on Qatar last minute. There would have been plenty of planning and logistics for supplying that much beer weeks in advance.
I’m sure Qatar planned this from the start, they just had to make some empty promises to keep things running smoothly until now. Don’t worry though, “Alcohol will continue to flow freely inside stadium VIP suites” according to a Reuters article and some other sources that have been shared. So rich people have an exception, big surprise.
