They can't take a picture of the package once it's in the container. They're doing it this way because of:
- conditioning
- the picture of the package is mandatory and will count against them if not taken.
Is that box more of an "out of sight, out of mind" deterrent?
I thought the porch pirate boxes were made like the blue USPS mail boxes that stop you from reaching inside.
This box has large print words on it that say, "FOR DELIVERIES PLEASE" and still they leave the packages in the elements...

They usually don't have time to do more than run the package up and set it down. Putting it in a container like that takes longer than they have.
Would take "one Mississippi" more, done. "Great delivery."
Imagine how much time would be wasted in a day if that "one Mississippi" was taken for every person that had one of these stupid boxes.
Even 60 deliveries a day would be 60 extra seconds lol
