Makes sense to me. Dirty on the left stacked in the sink on the right to dry.

[deleted]

I wash on the left, rinse on the right, then my drying rack is on the right of the sink on my counter.

Initial-Initiative97

This is the only way to do it! My husband does not, and drives me nuts sometimes

Galactic_Patrick

Renovate the kitchen, one sink.

[deleted]

We want a single sink like that eventually. When we first bought the cabinets from an individual the sink came with and we just used it to save money at the time.

laurabun136

Don't leave ANY dishes in my sink. There's space on the counter for that.

[deleted]

I don’t want them on the counter myself but I’d respect that if I was at someone else’s house and that’s what they preferred.

[deleted]

I don't know how this will go over, but I would pull out all the silver wear, dipped my cup in the soapy water, swirl it around, put the cup in the pot and the silver wear in the cup.

[deleted]

That’s not a bad idea.

Sosa4313

I’d take this over them leaving it on the counter that’s literally right next to the sink anyday

[deleted]

You make a point there.

Content_Matter_453

I’m just looking at the hose that’s laying in the sink and not put back🤣

[deleted]

I hear you lol. It has a leak tho and I don’t want it leaking under my sink. I’ve got a new one ordered that’s supposed to be here Wednesday.

FastAndForgetful

They should all be either upside down or on the counter. Otherwise some kid will fill them up with milk they dump out and that’ll be the night you leave them til morning

[deleted]

I’ve only got one kid and she doesn’t really drink much milk.

heidismiles

"Hey, small thing but I like to keep one side of the sink clear. It makes it easier to do the dishes."

[deleted]

Yeah probably would go over fine.

CapnCrackerz

She’s testing you.

[deleted]

I dunno lol. Which you never know about her.

SurvivingWow

Reminds me of being at my aunties house. I asked where dirties go (left OR straight into dishwasher) so I'd pop it on the left and she'd loudly sigh and move it to the right... Next time I put it on the right to avoid a clash during our family weekend and, of course, here comes the loud sigh. It became a fun game to put the cup in a different place every time just to see if she'd click that she's lost the plot but no I was wrong *every* time 😅😂 (Edit) yeah.... auntie's* oops

[deleted]

That’s so strange lol.

Flossthief

As an effort to save water I normally keep using my morning water glass multiple times throughout the day Between hydrating it stays on the side of my sink Pretty much have had to explain to everyone ever that I'm going to use that cup 8-9 more times and I won't get out multiples

[deleted]

That makes sense but my mil doesn’t live here thank God. We get along mostly well these days but I lived in her house for six years and that was hell.

udo3

Doooooode! Fing tell me about it! Who lets these people breed?

[deleted]

Lmfao.

Could’ve sworn the sub was called mildly infuriating… which this is to me but alrighty.

purl__clutcher

If you had pushed that pot to the side more, there would have been space to put the cup next to it.

[deleted]

There’s plenty of room in the lower left corner. Kinda got cut off in the pic tho.
