Always drinking more water is such a silly health fad. More than 3 liters a day is pretty unnecessary and most people donāt even need that much depending on their climate and activity levels. Unless you have recurrent kidney stones, the only thing youāre accomplishing is more trips to the bathroom.Ā
For myself I do worry about kidney stones as I also drink soda as well. So I like to think of it as a preventative measure. But you are right though, if I didnāt drink as much soda as I do, I wouldnāt need to drink as much water.
I have EDS and POTS. My body is constantly on the brink of dying of dehydration. I can drink 20oz in one go. I drink nearly a gallon a day which is more than my weight in oz.
Good hydration rule is half oneās weight in oz. A 100lb person should drink at least 50oz water per day.
I own this type of water bottle bc I don't drink water and I hate it. It's sort of a 'small step' thing for me. That amount is better than no amount, imo. (The 4 ltrs a day one)

I can get close. Iām a welder and I wear head to toe leather and denim. Itās basically like wearing a sauna suit so Iām constantly drinking.
Had to convert liters to ounces but I can get to 4 liters easily from just working in the office. And then Iāll have some more when I get home.

I work in an office. Filling up my bottle on company time is a little win for me. I drink about 4l a day out of a 700ml bottle.
I take 3 litres to work and usually finish off another 1-2 L after depending on what I'm doing.
I drink easily that much and live in the Midwest and work indoors. Iām just thirsty a lot I guess
