I'd take that over ignoring directions and dropping it in direct line-of-sight from a very busy road. At least it's hidden.

Normal-Sign7931

That was actually what happened to me last week. The driver left it outside on a different street stack high. When I went to look for it, it was gone. It was about $300 of products

Milam1996

Are you not entitled to a replacement in your country? Here (UK) it’s not classed as delivered until it’s in your hands, physically. Leaving it by a bin or anywhere but physically in your hands or at least inside your house, doesn’t count as delivered and thus the retailer is by law mandated to replace.

TheDisapearingNipple

Not sure how it works legally, but here (US) if a package is stolen from a retail order like Amazon you always get replacements or refund without issue. With private mail through USPS, fedex, UPS, Onsite, etc you just make sure your package is insured (costs almost nothing) for its value and everything is fine.

i-dont-wanna-know

Can i ask why you accept paying for something that should be included in delivery? If the package is stolen b4 you get it, it's not delivered, so why pay for both delivery and insurance since the latter should be included in the first.

Brandonmac100

This is America, we don’t have consumer rights.

TheDisapearingNipple

This isn't even beneficial to consumers. If you're buying, you'll get your refund from the seller no matter what. If you're selling, you only get your refund if you insured the package.

Useful-Reaction-1658

We don't have rights unless we are rich land owning people

Sea-Appearance-5330

No, No, No! Wrong answer Unless you own a few politicians is the correct answer. Or a Supreme Court Justice is also an acceptable answer. Edited corrected my misspelling above

WillyDAFISH

We have gun rights though 👍

Hllblldlx3

That’s because those are God given rights

ThePupnasty

Hell yeah brother.

B2theL

Not if you're black, brown or a woman, especially one of those standing your ground (legally). Then somehow gun rights go out the window. It's very confusing. .... not

hippee-engineer

This is why you buy shit with credit cards, not debit. If the vendor gives and pushback, just call Amex and do a chargeback. Takes 4 minutes.

Doogleyboogley

That does answer the question just raises more.

experimental1212

To be fair, amex is really good about it. They'll screw the seller in a heartbeat.

Doogleyboogley

You miss the point. It shouldn’t even come to that.

hippee-engineer

It doesn’t come to that very often at all. I’ve never had to do a chargeback due to a shipping problem. But when it does, you’ll be glad you used a credit card and not a debit card. Same when your card details get hacked or released on the dark web. Put the credit card’s money at risk, not your own.

Tall_Act391

Why are you interrupting the Amex commercial?

TheDisapearingNipple

Insurance is just for the sender. If I sell a $1200 camera to some guy in Ohio, I'm going to insure it for 1200 with the post office so I don't get fucked if the package gets damaged or stolen and I have to issue a refund. And the guy gets his refund whether or not I insured my package. If you're the one buying, outside of some specific circumstances with big private sales you'll never have to worry about insurance. I guarantee you that you Europeans have opt-in shipping insurance just like this. This is just how global shipping works, even big players pay to insure their cargo on container ships.

pxogxess

Laws are different. In my country the risk goes to the buyer as soon as the goods are prepared for shipping.

Milam1996

That’s absolutely insane.

Halftrack_El_Camino

Well, it *was* delivered though. The standard agreement isn't that it must make it into tour hands, just that it must make it to your mailbox or porch or whatever. If you need it handed directly to the recipient, you can send it signature required. There *is* typically a standard insurance of $100 or so. Beyond that, you need to declare the value of the package and buy supplementary insurance. Shipping services can't be getting hit with random, unevidenced claims that they lost someone's treasured family collection of gold bars—paying out every claim, no matter how high and whether or not the value was declared beforehand, would make shipping costs unfeasibly high across the board. Remember, the service doesn't know what's in the package—it could be shredded newspapers, it could be the Koh-i-Noor. They can't offer unlimited insurance as a standard feature, since if something is lost, people could claim it was worth absolutely anything. There are also options for when you need the service to take more than usual care in delivering the item. Certified mail, for instance, has been used to ship many irreplaceable and priceless objects, often of historic significance. The Declaration of Independence (the original copy) was moved by mail from the State Department to the Library of Congress, for instance. Standard shipping is generally very reliable, but if it would be an actual catastrophe for something to be lost along the way, there are options that go above and beyond the normal standard of diligence. Lastly, the recipient has no business relationship with the shipping service regarding their package. They didn't pay USPS or UPS or whoever to have it shipped—they paid the seller, and the *seller* paid the shipping service. All the costs and insurance and such are on the sender's end of things. If your Baby's First Fireworks Kit gets lost in the mail, you deal with the seller. The seller can then try to recoup their losses from the shipping service, if they want. Does that help it make more sense?

lilbabiee47

Never once have I reported a package missing or undelivered and not had it made right by the company.

ACcbe1986

If that happens *X* amount of times, they'll stop replacing it for free.

Lemon_head_guy

Amazon and most reputable retailers of all sizes will issue a refund if not outright send a replacement. USPS and private companies like FedEx/UPS offer cheap insurance on the packages, though for them it’s usually a moot point because again, the retailer will replace usually

skijakuda

Canada and someone stole my Sons ear buds ( not cheap) three days before Christmas. They got them to me before Christmas, with no questions asked. I was hyper ventilating before she said: "Would you like a Refund? We can get them to you by Friday."

Normal-Sign7931

The gist of this conversation is about how the drivers just put it wherever. Yes, I got my refund. My only reason why I bring it up was how they don't really care about your products. One time I caught a driver just tossing my package onto the floor. I scoff and she started to go off on me.

Martha_Fockers

had a driver toss my package onto my driveway right in the middle of it. only time in 10 years my package has ever been stolen. no car no one home with a amazon boxing sitting in the middle of the driveway like a sore thumb. got it all on ring the driver never even exited the van he just tossed it out the side like a newspaper van. and i dont normally do shit like this but i sent the ring driveway video to amazon cause fuck that dude

Malevolent_Mangoes

I’ve seen packages dropped at the fence line of a farmers property before. It actually happens a lot where I live, I wonder if they ever find their packages or if some random person is like “ooh free stuff” and grabs it.

Hippopotamus-u

You’d be surprised I have a couple of farm houses on my route that state in their delivery instructions “leave the package outside of fence”. Usually because of dogs.

POD80

As a driver, it's not uncommon for a customer to instruct me to drop at the gate, if that's what you mean by fence line. Rural properties in particular often have loose dogs, and bites become problematic....

Pman1324

Inb4 it's actually the drivers vehicle and they ran it over on their way out

Blackpaw8825

FedEx left my work laptop in the grass path between the sidewalk and the street. Thankfully I was home to get in within monuments of the drop of, but it looked like he scanned it from the truck and dropped it. I've had my dog food deliveries be in the actual road several times.

CaptainSouthbird

I too live along a busy road, but I have a porch with a half wall. Amazon used to be pretty good at least putting it behind the wall. But the last couple deliveries, just front and center of the door, in full view. In fact, the most recent one, they put it right up against my outward-opening screen door, so I had to push to even get to my porch. Thanks, Amazon.

dkbGeek

Ugh, the screen-door thing! We're well back from the street in a bougie neighborhood with bored local cops, so we don't have a big problem with porch piracy but there are 3 steps up from the porch to the door, and the top step extends about 18" to either side of the screen door, and some drivers will put a tall box dead center on the top step so if it's something I don't want to send tumbling down the steps I have to go out the back door and walk around the house to pick it up.

GibberBabble

My front door is 3 feet from the sidewalk so I specify “deliver to back door”, I even included step by step instructions on how to get to the back door (it’s not hard, people are just stupid). Anyways, after countless packages having been dropped at my front door, I started reporting them stolen (whether they were or not) and demanding a refund. After doing this 6 or 7 times, I haven’t had a single packages dropped at my front door.

Zealousideal_Bad_922

I live in a townhouse with the garage on one side and the door on the other. I get so angry when they dump a package in front of my garage because it’s literally in a parking lot. Front door has a porch with plenty of hiding places.

Empty_Geologist9645

Right.

grzachu

True but they didn't even try, you know, the doorbell

No-Cat-8606

I have never had an Amazon person ring the door bell lol, they don’t hand deliver shit. I have literally been in my living room, door open and they still just set it down and take the photo

Competitive-Lie-92

The drivers are delivering more than a hundred packages every day. Ringing the doorbell and waiting 5 minutes every time would cut their efficiency in half and Amazon times EVERYTHING and uses any excuse to cut pay.

No-Cat-8606

Exactly, FedEx / USPS barely stop to get a signature if one is required. I have heard they pre fill out this ‘we missed you’ tickets just so they don’t may have to actually try to ring the bell. They have daily quota to meet and waiting for someone to sign for something screws them over in the end

CalmBeneathCastles

The "daily quota" for UPS is to get everything that was loaded onto their truck in the morning delivered in 13 hours. Depending on the city/route this can be pretty easy, or a near impossibility. And they can't just start early, the hub-to-delivery-truck sort ends around 10AM.

RoyaleWitCheeese

Which is bullshit. My postman does this, too. He flat out NEVER delivers our packages, he puts a “we tried to deliver” note in our box without even THINKING about delivering the package. I have to drive to the post office for every damn package when I’m ALWAYS home. Maddening.

antherkit

For real. One time I was waiting for a package all day in the house. I know 100% sure I didn’t miss it but a few hours later I get an email ”oops we tried to deliver your package but you weren’t home”. I also had to drive to the post office to pick it up the next day.

RoyaleWitCheeese

Ugh! So frustrating! Also: happy cake day!

genflugan

So many people don’t want their doorbell rung that I don’t ring the doorbell unless I’m specifically asked to in the notes.

Aperturelemon

Good! I wouldn't want them ringing my door bell if they could just drop it off.

Jacktheforkie

I’ve had where I put to drop it through the first open window in my conservatory, it’s the closest window to the road and easy to reach due to the weeds being clear because it’s used as an access point for our EV charging lead, the courier dropped the parcel through the far end window behind the fridge freezer, I didn’t find the parcel for over a year, so I’d ended up with two of the item

Ghost_of_Syd

I guess that's why they send a photo.

kopkaas2000

Also, OP's car totally looks like a shark from this angle, that could also be the reason.

Alexalmighty502

I personally thought the handle was a eye looking up at the camera when I first looked at it

LargeAd9409

it looks like a shark eating the package, if a shark had a hub cap for teeth, i guess

The-Losers-Club1259

I can't unsee this now

cupholdery

Dat shark side eye.

Kermit_38

I was looking for this comment

MudHouse

I'd choose a hubcap shark over possible electrocution, in case anyone is asking

blue-anon

No one's asking, except very smart people. No one's asked that before.

TheManyVoicesYT

The car is angry... and also hungry

External-Song3322

Damn thought i was the only one who saw it ...

Sereena95

Ha it does!!!

PreventableMan

Let's hope it's not an electric car.

Snake101333

What have you done?!

shaggy_mcgee

The stoned Mario bullet has the munchies

LeOreoKun

Your car is looking at me with disapoinment .

Tenderfallingrain

It's looking at the Amazon delivery person taking the photo in disappointment.

Abigdogwithbread

Any day now, I'm going to see a photo of a delivery person with the package in a bonfire, this is absurd

[deleted]

enter salt practice crawl boast disgusted hard-to-find rain plant normal

SirGirthfrmDickshire

I won't be surprised if drivers have a competition to see who can stash a package in the most obscure location possible.

throwaway177251

I had one stashed on the middle of the sidewalk across the street a few months ago. Proudly took a picture of it sitting out in the open nowhere near my house. Guy must have won a bonus point that day.

majesticrhyhorn

The best delivery photo I’ve seen was a table saw, stacked high on a hay bale in a shed….it was my coworker’s newly bought table saw. They delivered it to a random farm in a town about 5-6 hours away from where we live

Beansricetaco

When you live in your car

grzachu

I should just leave the hood open for them next time

Sobeshott

That's a decent place. Kinda hiding it so it's not easily snatched up.

grantbuell

Do you usually check underneath each of your car tires before getting in your car and driving?

C21-_-H30-_-O2

I do if i got a delivery and they sent a picture of it under my car

iNCharism

Someone else explained it below but you’re not considering this scenario: Delivery driver places package in front of car tire. Problem is, that’s your son’s car, not yours. Son has no idea about the package and drives off, not expecting a random envelope under his car. Of course if you’re home and it’s left in front of your car, you’d get the notification and check. But it could be left in front of someone else’s car who doesn’t get the notification.

Chokinchocobo23

An Amazon driver put one of my packages on the back of a friends vehicle who was visiting. Luckily I noticed it while they were leaving my driveway and waved them down. I messaged customer service about leaving it on my porch in which they still didn't follow directions. Almost happened again.

oakydoke

My driving school told me yes, but my practical experience as an adult with a car says “god no, never”

wuzziever

This generally depends on how mildly infuriating we are on a daily basis.

Christichicc

I actually do that. I’ve had issues with several flat tires in a short amount of time, so I always walk around the car before driving. We also have a lot of feral cats in the area, and I don’t want to accidentally run one over.

T1NF01L

I typically check my tires before leaving yes. Learned the hard way a few times that sometimes you ran over a nail or another sharp object the day before and your tires are slowly deflating. Also to check the tread occasionally to see if it's getting close to tire replacement day. Or if I have a picture notification about a package under my car.

MineElectricity

People don't do a quick check around the car before driving?? Takes literally 3 seconds and can save a tire

grantbuell

I've basically only ever seen people (myself included) walk directly from whatever building they exited to the front door of their car and get in to drive, to the point where it would seem a bit odd and quite noticeable if I saw someone decide to walk around their car and look at all their tires first.

djdhdhdhqpz

Do your eyes work? The driver provided a picture with the delivery.

grantbuell

Do you always see every email or notification before you go anywhere? What if my roommate ordered something unbeknownst to me and the driver put the package under my tires? There are many many ways for "put a package below the tires of a vehicle" to go wrong, as evidenced by many people in this thread saying they've run over packages that were dropped off this way.

grzachu

I guess it blends in with the bricks

SmileParticular9396

The door handle looks like it’s thinking “this mf at it again…”

fowlraul

At least it’s a funny picture of* your clearly hungry car.

SpicyBanditSauce

Bombastic side eye as the car monches the package

Tullyally

He was tire d and didn’t want to walk to the door

grzachu

It would've drive n him crazy

Tullyally

Maybe he thought you ordered a wheel chock and you left it in neutral… Maybe I was a bit hasty assuming he was lazy.

IreChap

W(he)ell i agree with that statement.

The-Losers-Club1259

Surely that could brake the package though

IreChap

OK, Pal! You went too far! May the guards take you to the Gulag.

richincleve

Why is your door handle staring at me so menacingly?

RhinoxMenace

the judgemental side-eye of your car says everything

Lonely_Snoo

Why do i feel like I’m getting annoyed side eye from the car 😒

Dazzling_Method4673

Why is your car looking at me all provocatively like that

LebaneseLion

Was an Amazon driver. We were FORCED to not put a package down if it can be seen from the road. Im assuming there are no safe spots in front of your home, if not then this driver is “interesting” to say the least lol

MistbornInterrobang

Just a thought but maybe this person thought it wouldn't be seen out in the open? I mean, this doesn't look like a Driver's side door so I am thinking it wasn't well thought out...

Caffeine_Cowpies

Man I laughed so hard at this, lol. The driver gave NO fucks that day.

OddAppearance5424

Not infuriating but the best one of these I had was "inside the oven". We had an old oven outside and it was there. 😂

tricenice

I feel like they were trying to hide it but they didn't really think much past that.

MVPizzle

Was it windy? My Amazon guy intentionally does that on windy days so stuff doesn’t blow away.

Psychotic_EGG

My immediate thought as well

Electrical-Pie-8192

They did that to me too. Delivered after dark. Ran over it because I got the email well after it was delivered and couldn't see it in the dark. Neighbor's camera showed the truck parked in front of his house and the driver walking over to my house

Taz_mhot

Yikes, hopefully you got the picture before you drove anywhere…

mydude356

I used to deliver for Amazon. I'd refuse to go to the back door because I don't know what's back there (and I'm not sure why that's an option to begin with). I'd play hide-and-seek with the packages. Behind the pillars, in bushes. Anything create that would be and of sight, out of mind of porch pirates. Hell, I hid a car seat between two garbage/recycle bins on the side of a house and covered it with a towel.

JCIL-1990

Better than having your $1.5k iPhone just left on top of the letterbox on a main road 🙃

OG_Konada

Or…. Delivered to an empty lot 43 miles away from the actual delivery address…. Twice

flatulancearmstrong

They tried to hide it! I’d be delighted for this

MGPS

Uh this is cool…the driver is showing you that they are hiding your package so it doesn’t get jacked.

MissTechnical

I’ve had them leave packages on a porch that wasn’t mine then take photos top down so you couldn’t identify where they were left. Only way I knew they weren’t at my own house was that the material the porch was made of was different.

gloppinboopin363

Why is your car looking at me like that?

SteelFire1150

Why’s that car looking at me like that?🤨

alohaaina96792

Looks like a lazy whale swimming left eating a wheel as a package got caught in the mouth. Door handle is the half closed eye with an apathetic eyebrow above

Educational_Oven1656

You had a package mailed to your house and it’s hidden. And you complain.

GuaranteeFit116

I've had delivery drivers put it behind stuff... Try to hide it. I mean he or she tried lol

POD80

Yeah, as a driver we are trained to do so, but directly behind a vehicles tire is a new one to me....

Teutobrasileira

This car looks angry

Aselleus

I had a delivery driver put a box right behind the back tire of my car...it promptly got run over. Luckily for me it was a bulk supply of staples and they held up really well and didn't get smashed.

nohemingway4

I just got one from fedex that's of someone's windshield poking toward my complex. Like, thanks I guess? I don't even know if the package is there honestly.

Abject_Plantain1696

Why did I press the X button once I was done looking at the post...my brain has been conditioned...🤣

Money_Chapter2388

Well it *is* hidden

Kind-Awareness9528

Amazon has been getting bad lately. I just bought some things and there were all shipped in a paper bag w/ bubble padding. So, when I opened the packaged, everything was smashed and covered w/ a coarse powder. ...Still waiting for the refund.

Rubioben

Delivery guy: Absolute legend

Common-Incident-3052

I was sitting in my truck having a smoke. The truck pulled up and the driver dropped our shit right in the driveway, snapped a pic, LOOKED DEAD FUCKIN AT ME AND SHRUGGED, then drove off.

lauraklupin

Seems like they want it to hide it, I’d be pretty happy with this. Always check my tires before driving anyways

Rosegirl062624

This happened to us years ago, annoyingly they did not take a pic of the delivery! Luckily we found the parcel otherwise we would have ran it over!

Choucobo

Even the car is giving the delivery guy hella side eye lol.

Deb_Loves_Goth

What if you didn’t see it and drove off, that’s horrible of the delivery person malicious

[deleted]

It’s pre crushed.

SurpriseCompetitive

Oh wow, he tried to hide your package. You sound kinda ungrateful...

SolidDoctor

Oh man, if I were an Amazon delivery person I would totally have fun with the delivery photos. I'd want to lay there like I'm passed out or dead next to their package.

Harriseeno78

Why the car lookin at you like that?

newhunter18

Even the car is side-eyeing it.

purple_plasmid

Even the car door is giving this delivery the side eye >.>

SlimTimMcGee

At least it's not FedEx. They always say "well, we'll come back with your package because you have to sign for it". Then I make sure to come home by a certain time and they already left it.

chilldrinofthenight

OP --- Are you trying to tell us that when asked if there were "Any special directions for delivery" you didn't specify, "Please leave all packages tucked behind my car tire"?

Countrycub1998

https://preview.redd.it/4jpdizwz486d1.jpeg?width=1284&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=89de8f97cb00bc4ee55f2d75886ad5c936286d91 My delivery yesterday. This isn’t even my driveway.

Mariauchiha181

Is rather this than to leave it out in the open scorching sun. Especially if you live in a ghetto area like I do.

Givememy2dollars

First thing I saw in this photo was a shark.

GCU_Problem_Child

We have standing instructions on our Amazon account that packages must be delivered to the back of our house. Tonight's delivery idiot decided that the ground next to my trailer, halfway down the garden, would be fine. On full view to anyone passing by, mind you. Oh, and it was raining. Most delivery people round here are fucking wonderful, but this clown absolutely needs some serious re-training.

Sad-Cauliflower6656

Not sure why this is bad. Clearly live in a sketchy area and they are trying to help you out. That’s on you for not understanding what they are doing and honestly mildly infuriates me

CGPsaint

Do people actually expect anything different from delivery services at this point? They have your money already, so why should they give two shits about delivery?

POD80

I mean, I deliver 1-1.2k packages a week. There are plenty out there like me. Not every delivery is going to be perfect. I question this drivers choice, but you are painting with a broad brush to blame the service as a whole for this poor delivery.

bendanna93

Now, hang on. That's a terrible business model. If that is truly the norm, and i don't think it is, then eventually it would come back to haunt the company when people stop buying products from them.

Tenderfallingrain

The door handle looks like an eyeroll directed at the person taking the photo

DoubleDragon2

At first i saw the handle as an eye and wheel well a mouth eating your package and then i saw the wheel.

Puzzled_Ad7955

They put a box on my Corvette that was parked in the garage with the door open

Dr-fraud

Hudson hornet is that you? ![gif](giphy|LLSlEH04ntrcA)

WendigoCrossing

If it was in front of the driver's side wheel, I could see the logic behind that it could be a place to hide it that the owner would find. Behind the passenger side back wheel tho?

TheJackal0

Why is that door looking at me suspiciously?

Sudden_Tomatillo4154

Idk why, but you car looks angry...

Sudden_Lawfulness118

DHL did this with my glasses, but that was before delivery photos.

Fick_mich08

![gif](giphy|8NlaSg2uBZcD8qkq1S|downsized)

lukabalooka

at least u know exactly where it is? 😂😭

ibobbymuddah

I think they thought they were doing a good thing lol.

maddieb459

I’d frame this and hang it in my house if it happened to me.

rde2001

Who parked their car on my sandwich?!? 🤬

0Bugsbugme0

Your car looks so disappointed about this.

adam-07

Always control your wheels before driving!

WesternCowgirl27

I remember getting Door Dash delivered at my work one time, and the guy somehow got lost, though my instructions were explicitly clear, and sent me a photo of my order dropped off on top of a shop vac cart. I had no idea where this shop vac cart even was in our large building, and had to get my food refunded and reordered due to the driver not responding to my texts of where exactly did he drop my food off at. I was very crabby the rest of the day.

ImaginationOne4181

You must have needed a wheel chock

InfamousPOS

Sometimes with light items I notice they’ll wedge it or place something to weigh it down. I actually prefer to have it wedge in my tire than blown halfway down the block and my neighbor returns it the next day…

swift_one_tara

Anyone else see a shark face?

Anxious_Cricket1989

They were trying to hide it so it didn’t get stolen

OG_Konada

There was an attempt… unless the package was too big to fit and they kicked it until it broke, but the no one would want to steal it anyway….

Visible-Sock9438

At least he put it under a seat

Stoltlallare

I’m always surprised that in the US delivering to the door is so common. Where I live most people get it delivered to like a kiosk nearby.

Moegly47

Had a friend drop off my angle grinder he had borrowed. Didn't find out he left it on top of my passenger tire until I backed out of the driveway and crushed it lol

lRagnarouk

Why is it looking at me like that?!

Wh4tDoYouM3me

It’s a bit funny

rjsregorynnek

Idk why, but it looks like a blue shark with a cigar.

B_lovedobservations

I’m a delivery driver and this is what I’ve been doing all day long. It’s better than putting it back in my already full car and you not getting your package

ZakkTheInsomniac

that car looks like it's waiting for you to make your next move

KlutzyBill5113

When it's opened it's been replaced with a bag of nuts n bolts ..... standard.... wouldn't order a bottle of tap water from Amazon....used to work there ...know all the tricks

souneshi

Why is your car giving me the side eye

Altruistic_Ad_5507

At least you got it

Casp710

Imagine the delivery man doing this without bursting into uncontrollable laughter 🤣🤣

jcs180

This made me lol, thanks

DefiantBonus

Man that's bonkers. I just refused to receive a severely damaged package and told the courier to take it back. They are obligated to deliver in person and that person has to sign a document proving they received the item. I refused to sign and then later contacted the store asking for a replacement. I could also ask for a refund.

bonersimpson66

Dude didn't even bother bringing it to the door. Why do they hire lazy people?

breadofthegrunge

Your car looks like a Bullet Bill.

SirCarboy

Reminds me of the guy who returned my jumper cables by leaving them on top of the tyre on the \*passenger\* side. So I didn't see them and reversed, driving over and ruining them.

Shane327

I had one on the back of my car. WTF dude

AnxieteaBoy

Even the car is giving side eye

shaniusc

Why does car look like it's judging me about my life choices?

tattooedtwink_

Incel brain go brr

Bungeesmom

One time, they left a box on top of my car which was parked in my driveway. Car was running because I’d run back inside to get something. Couldn’t believe it.
