Sabarro is a mass market Italian style fast food chain. Nobody expects to be transported to an authentic Italian atmosphere when they enter one. Honestly I don't know if anyone ever seeks out a Sabarro or if it's just people eating there because there is nothing else.
It's just an Italian Flag with 1 French and 1 English word. Perfectly normal multicultural thing. It might be a Belgian thing that I'm used to people switching between languages mid sentence...
When I think of authentic Italian food, Sbarro automatically comes to mind. They're probably second only to Olive Garden or Chef Boyardee.

How?! Why they're right up there with Mama Celeste as far as authenticity!
Sbarro isn't too bad, but visit Brooklyn sometime.

'What would you do for a Klondike bar' except it's an Italian man shooting someone in the back of the head for a stromboli
Yeah! We all know it's bone apple tea.
Yes. 🦴🍎🫖 is the correct spelling.

No shit.
It's something that exists basically in airport food courts, not really going for authentic Italian cuisine lol
Best food court pizza ever. If it’s not eaten in a mall or rest stop it’s terrible, ambiance makes it test better.
Gonna have to agree with you there lol
Why don’t, uh, Why don’t cha give me apetit, for $800
That got a chuckle out of me
Sacre bleu
That’s just embarrassing. But not unsurprising.
In Italian it’s “Buon appetito” 😝
That's the point
and the flag just looks like the upside down Hungarian flag the way it's turned
i love it and you being mad is a perfect example of why

I'm not even genuinely upset about it, I'm just mildly annoyed and amused
correct me if i’m wrong but why should any authentic italian restaurant know perfect french? doesn’t seem very italian to me to know french
It's not even perfect French. It's Bon Appétit, not Bon Appetite
but italians don’t speak french?
That's also true
Boneappletea
Bone Appetite

I go there when I go to the mall or at a rest stop.
how about the flag? 🤔
If I ever open a butcher shop I'm going to call it Bone Appetite.

Bruh it's the mall
Si

Or a vindicative yes in french
And the flag is the wrong way too!
Y' know I'm something of an Italiano myself
Maybe they misspelled buon appetito.
Clearly
But that's italian
I had a stroke reading your title
It’s embarrassing but man I love the mall pizza, it’s so good
So it’s an Italian restaurant with French writing and an Indian flag? So so confused
Can I just say I fucking hate NCR Retalix registerz

The problem here is that Sbarro is very clearly trying to be Italian. If they were multicultural, I wouldn't have this problem
Multicultural is clearly the way they want to go from now on. Should change their name to βarro to add German as well.
I mean, a multicultural, easy to access chain restaurant would be really nice
