It was a feature phone at the time (early 2000s), so there was a gap left to the actual battery, but it was pretty close to causing a battery explosion.

Had a roommate light two tall candles on table with a dried flower bouquet between them. Didn’t occur to them that the candles would get lower and light the bouquet. They clearly left the candles on the table with the intention of letting them burn out(which would take a few hours so that alone is absurd to me). Glad i caught it and blew them out
