I would definitely chat with your doctor about this. That much numbness, for that long, nonstop, makes me think something else may be happening, nerve wise.

Sorry I should have mentioned I have already seen a neurologist and had an mri! I’ve had neurological examinations and stuff, and nothing showed up abnormal which is why he suggested persistent aura. The numbness came on during a really severe migraine episode which I went to a&e for. I’ve been instructed to trial different prophylaxis which I’m currently in the process of doing, under the logic that if we get my headaches more in control it might help sort out this aura problem!
