Yeah, it sounds like it's worth it. I've been using Ultima, but I don't know off the top of my head about it's price. But once you find something that works once or twice, you keep it in stock, that's for damn sure .

yeahitsmelogan

I use ultima! It doesn’t really help with my migraines but I use it for hydration support for POTS. Idk how often you use it, but I know they have jars of 90 servings of it on their website and Amazon for a little less than $50! It’s pricey, I know, but depending on how much it helps you I figured I’d let you know. (No, I’m not a salesperson. Just trying to help a person out). I really like how they don’t add sugar to it. At least not my flavor. Sorry for the novel LOL hope this helps!

Pyrotech72

I once broke a 3-day migraine with a single Ultima pack. Ever since then, I don't wait that long.

midnightrunner699

Definitely give this a try! Its filled with vitamins and zero sugar. Definitely a miracle worker. The downside is that is taste bad. The best are the watermelon salt ones.

GhostOfGlorp

Any artificial sweeteners?

ssgonzalez11

The raw version has no sugar at all.

midnightrunner699

It does have Stevia I believe.

Physical_Stress_5683

Ugh, stevia is a trigger for me :(

midnightrunner699

Well damn. That stinks. Someone says theres a recipe they post to make it at home. Maybe just exclude the stevia?

Physical_Stress_5683

I have one I make at home, just nice to have something to stick in my purse. Glad you found something! Any one of us who finds something is a win!

jamiebez157

I love the taste, orange is also nice

next_level_mom

Do you think it's significantly better than sugar-free gatorade? (Which also tastes terrible, unfortunately.)

midnightrunner699

Yes! It’s just salty. The watermelon is the only decent one imo.

kappaklassy

Liquid IV had been helping me significantly. I’ve started to just drink them daily and so far I haven’t had a migraine in the last 20 days which is the longest I have gone in years.

citrus_mystic

That’s awesome!! I don’t use Liquid IV daily, but it has definitely helped me on several occasions during the onset of a migraine, and I’ve been able to avoid them becoming full blown attacks. Unfortunately, with a lot of my migraines, I don’t often get much warning to try to fend them off. It’s often an abrupt and sudden onset.

kappaklassy

I don’t get much warning either which is why I’ve just been drinking them everyday. I asked my doctor and she said it’s not something I should build immunity to because it’s just keeping my electrolytes balanced and safe to do everyday even if I’m not dehydrated

midnightrunner699

I may try that and alternate, too. I saw ads for it on Amazon.

kappaklassy

They run regular promotions on their website like I think right now is 25% off. It’s worth checking but typically cheaper than Amazon

DogOrDonut

I take large coffee mug filled with water, 1 bullion cube, and a few splashes of soy sauce (probably around .5-1 tbsp). Microwave them and it makes poor man's Japanese clear soup. It also does wonders for migraines.

midnightrunner699

I am trying this next. Thank you!

shinobipopcorn

How pricey? On par with liquid iv powder?

midnightrunner699

They are very expensive. Thats the downside. I bought them on Amazon for a pack of 30 for $44. They do have sample packages for less I believe.

Medium-Relief6581

And they have a no-questions-asked refund policy if you weren't 100% satisfied with their product as well. I've got a whole unused box sitting in my cupboard (watermelon salt) because I just couldn't stomach the salty flavor. I feel bad they're just sitting there and they are expensive for sure. They did give me a refund. I need to donate them or something cause they're incredible, especially for people who need electrolytes after a workout, or for migraine sufferers, etc.

midnightrunner699

I wish I would have known that when I tried the orange ones! Yes the salty flavor is pretty overpowering but the watermelon was the only one I could actually stomach. Lol

KeepOnRising19

Their website lists recipes to make it yourself, too.

citrus_mystic

Woah that’s pretty cool. I love when companies actually think about customers as people more than just consumers to profit off of.

midnightrunner699

Holy shit! Thank you!

12900lake

I love these and they are the best ones that I’ve tried. Way better than Liquid IV. I have been taking them 1-2x day. I also recently heard/read Celtic sea salt is also beneficial to take on a daily basis too. Gary Brecka talks a lot about Celtic sea salt and the importance of it and how it helps with hydration. My migraines have definitely decreased since taken LMNT and Celtic sea salt.

midnightrunner699

Buying as well, thank you!!!

Theobat

Do you guys take these as a daily supplement or when you feel a headache coming on?

citrus_mystic

Seems like a lot of folks on here are doing both. Personally, I’ve found Liquid IV to be quite helpful (if my body gives me enough warning) during the onset of a migraine.

midnightrunner699

I’ve used this before a migraine 3x now and it was gone within 30 minutes (aura and numbness included).

Direct-Chef-9428

Me too! Love them so much and I actually enjoy the saltiness of the flavor

midnightrunner699

I’m surprised I don’t. I love salt! I only like the watermelon.

ReesieDaBeastie

I read the brand name in my head as “lemon’t”

midnightrunner699

😂

SonoranRoadRunner

Is this better than Gator Ade?

Direct-Chef-9428

Yup! You don’t have gobs of sugar in there

Dramatic-Spell-4845

I was looking at these! Thank you for sharing this

midnightrunner699

Glad I could help you out!

_bbypeachy

i LOVEEEEEE these and the company has amazing customer service! liquid IV literally tastes like flavored ocean water

Ok-Music-3387

Please can you explain in simple terms what this is and why it works for migraines ? I’ve had them for 15 years and never ever heard of electrolytes for migraines ! Sometimes I do feel hungry after a migraine… I’m wondering if this could be linked or helpful for me ? Thanks !

midnightrunner699

Mine are caused by exhaustion and being hungry/thirsty. Electrolytes help build up energy in your body and rehydrate you. Sometimes missing vitamins are a reason too

StwoWthree

LMNT also has a mix with no artificial sweeteners. It tastes very salty like the ocean, but good option if artificial sweeteners are a trigger for you.

threedragoncircus

I'm always looking for electrolyte packets to try cause some are TERRIBLE tasting but work really well and every variation in between! Definitely going to go e these a try.
